This clip is made of awesome,
but did you realize that “Bob” was actually a reference to “Ocean Gem”?
Wonder what they want with Jasper, especially considering they don’t seem to care at all about Peridot. It can’t be about the mission, because Peri would know just about as much as Jasper.
I wonder what cyclops Ruby meant with that “thank you.” I don’t think it was for telling them where Jasper is. I don’t have any proof, but I’m going to guess that she’s part of an underground group on Homeward that thinks the Diamonds need to be overthrown.
Apparently, Gem placement determines your personality.
I mean, I've noticed it before, but I just figured it was symbolic.
Well, I was waiting until after it aired to say this (since I watched the leaked ones): This was the cutest goddamn episode of the show.
I think it was also one of the funniest, with all of the dialogue. Lapis in general was the best part of the episode.
Kind of a shame the Rubies left soon after they arrived, but the episode was just great all-around.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersWell, I don't think they want them there in the sense that they're constantly breathing down our heroes' necks. That would probably distract from more relaxed (but still important) character plots, while also undermining the tension, if they were always fighting and getting defeated by our heroes (or defeating our heroes, for that matter).
We're nowhere near the endgame yet - I think we can afford to have some things lurking in the background.
Oh God! Natural light! That's the one thing that bugged me about this. The marketing for this block of episodes made it seem like it was going to be some "Revelations" kind of thing. Especially with the "what we really are" playing over and over again.
I like the episodes for what they were, but they weren't nearly as "epic" the ad made it seem like they were going to be.

And now for something completely different: my dog opening a present.
