Like i said, if old homeworld look like colonial empire them new homeworld look techo facistic nightmare where thing have a grandiose sense to show the power of homeworld AND at the same thing being very unfeeling and unpleasent or everyone around.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I don't think Homeworld would look unpleasant. Authoritarian and suffocating, but still beautifully constructed.
Maybe like a colony, but more crowded.
I think it started like this...somebody starts planting rocks in the ground, then those rocks keep planting more rocks, and then when they don't have anymore ground to plant rocks in, they look for new ground to plant rocks in.
What's always funny about imperialistic alien races is how sparse they seem in our corner of the universe.
Also, is not strange how they just same Jasper as peridot reforcement? you would expect a contigent or two of Rubis or other gem around, maybe is just me but the build to bigger conflict that is actually show.
Granted they now send a bunch of Rubies which mean soon or latter, Homeworld is going show WHY they are so OP as hell.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"In fairness, Jasper was able to beat up all the Crystal Gems herself with the handy dandy destabilizer prod.
And the three Crystal Gems were the only ones they knew about due to Peridot seeing them in Marble Madness.
Jasper was hoping for more but even if there had been more they had the giant hand spaceship.
Not that the mission was to fight the Crystal Gems anyway. I think that's something Jasper decided to do. Peridot just wanted to check the Cluster and they gave her Jasper because she kept whining about the heroes breaking her stuff.

Forever liveblogging the Avengers
the cluster seen a new trick invented by YD or BD after wittness the efect of fusion and aparenly homeworld just thought that earth was reduce to nothing after the diamon tri-atack, which is almost true if it wasnt for Rose Shield, as far Peridot is concernt the crystal gem where footnote in glorious empire story.
It seems implied the Crystal Gems movement was gaining traction and disrupting the social order, so the reason they left in such a hurry, censored history, and set the planet to blow up years later, was to prevent more gems from defecting to them.
The light in the sky might have been what caused the huge crater where Russia is supposed to be, but it doesn't seem to affected most life on Earth, which is pretty much the same. Mostly just affected gems.

to be fair, we dont know how much afect earth oh if there was EVEN some life there, is clear that tri-atack blast Rose forces to kindom come.
Also it seen YD is the one with vendetta against CG, it seen weird but for what we seen they seen to have diferent way to rule the kindom, which is not surprising: YD is pretty much gem frieza(with dio throw at it) and BD seen more gem palpatine, I cannot way to see WD
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"A while back, when a clip for this episode was leaked on youtube, I saw the thumbnail, which was this image
◊ and I immediately thought that the three of them were watching the barn burn down, having accidentally lit it on fire due to Lapis and Peridot's antics from not getting along. The stunned looks on their face and the lighting all contributed to this. So I thought going in that I knew what was going to happen, but it turns out I was wrong. So this was kind of an anti-spoiler.

Okay, so... like I mentioned in the spoiler thread, this episode was the first one that made Lapis into my absolute favorite Gem. She was just hilarious in her bitterness.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987

From what I understand the difference between a Caste and a Class System is that it's possible for someone of a lower class to move up to a higher one, through effort. A Caste System, doesn't recognize effort. You're just born into your caste, and you have to stay there, and show respect to people in a caste above yours.
But I might be thinking of older caste systems, where they had karma in mind, and assumed someone was just "fated" to live the way they were because of something they did in a past life. There's probably different kinds of caste systems today.
