That strikes me as the most likely scenario. Hopefully we don't have to wait to long for something similar for Pearl.
Oh God! Natural light!![]()
Sensible guess.
However...it could be about Gems that come out of Kindredgartens during the War.
That might be the simplest one, they could make it interesting.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Hey I want to talk about this:
"It Runs in the Family: Potentially hoarding items for the Universe family. Greg comments that his aviator uncle and aunt never really threw anything away, much like with his storage, making him wonder if their family has a problem. "
is not that medical term? I have seen some show people who got adicted to colecting things, on the other Hand I never saw Steven with this so I wonder if just a greg thing.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"@bottom of last page: yeah, exactly like that! How much Harsher in Hindsight would Amethyst's fight scenes be, both in- and out-of-universe, if they revealed that her signature weapon's original purpose was to punish rebellious Gems, as is a purpose of Real Life whips?
Her whip is closest in design to the kinds used to make loud sounds
that tell animals when to start moving.
Way-too-late quoteing
Lapis really doesn't have to be put on a bus for a third time, I don't think.
She's extremely strong in her element, and her element is around a lot of places on earth, to be sure. On the other hand, the way the show has unfolded makes me think it ain't a big deal. First of all, the whole monster-of-the-week formula has become pretty much a thing of the past in recent seasons. The show's more focused on the overarcing plot of Homeworld threats, and character interactions. So even if Lapis manages to completely trivialize any monster threats in the Beach City area, that's really not a problem for the story. Secondly, Homeworld is a gamebreaker beyond what even Lapis could probably deal with in a direct fight. Whatever Yellow Diamond brings to bear against Earth next is likely to make Peridot's hand-ship seem cute in comparison.
Also, I think it'd be hilarious to see Lapis casually ocean-slap a random monster attack unfolding in the background while holding a conversation with Steven.

I have a message from another time...P-dots weren't made to fight...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. All Gems can get weapons, not all were made to have them.
It's a skill to learn since they can be broken...but can be summoned brand new or more than one.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The staff have said Lapis has her water power instead of a weapon. Sapphire's clairvoyance may be the same, but Peridot clearly just hasn't found hers yet. She might not ever because, unlike Pearl or Steven, Peridot has shown no interest in getting stronger. She does want to improve herself, but through learning to understand things and people better.
It'd be pretty inconvenient to have a weapon that only comes out of your back.
Lapis' water is her weapon...because it comes out her back gem, but she can also control surrounding water.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I like the idea of Peridot being the Wade and just inventing things. She doesn't need a gem-weapon or to become adept at direct combat. I wouldn't be surprised if she did get a weapon, but I'm meh towards that.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Pearl doesn't have to be the only techie of the group.
Perry winkle could actually improve Peral's craft by familiarizing her with the standards of modern Gem technology. That's really crucial info which can really help in the long run.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I have a question: the whole thing with gem in homeworld would be strict hierachy or outright caste system? the garnet episode have vibe of the first, with a romantic view of earth as "the final frontier" and the whole drama of saphire and ruby can be ether look as analogic of class relationship(the noble saphire with the ruby grunt) or caste system being broken.
Also, maybe is just Garnet being unrelable narrator but modern homeworld seen to be a techocratic nightmare, if gem remind me of the eldar cross with vulcan, homeworld seen to be the necrons.
How do you imagine homeworld to be?
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"
that in theory, in a class system you can move forward or get worse, here it seen you at set for life in some type in one labor and cant interact with other gems, so yeah is probably a caste system, granted modern homeworld seen to put that up to eleven compare to old homeworld.
A claste system.
Gems are made for their roles, so I imagine that Homeworld is very Diamond-focused. Everything for the glory of the authority, and the good of the race.
Grand architecture and everything working like clockwork, but maybe minor imperfections are what influence gems to rebel.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay

Kindergarten Kid is definitely going to be a "The Answer" type episode of Amethyst's origin story and how she met Rose, Pearl and Garnet.
