I'd really love to see a Garnet storyline in the present. It's something I've wanted for a while, since so far she mainly reacts to other characters stories rather than have some of her own. Even the Sardonyx fiasco was more about what Pearl did to Garnet and how that made her (Pearl) feel than about Garnet herself, and The Answer and Keystone Motel were more Ruby and Sapphire stories.
The last Garnet focus episode I can remember is Keep It Together. Besides Jail Break, the only other one I can think of is, arguably, Arcade Mania.
I've always felt Garnet's feelings about taking over as leader and being responsible for everyone once Rose died would be an interesting thing to explore. We get a little bit of it in Friend Ship, with her talking about how she's not perfect and she often looks to the others for strength, but I'd like to see more of it.

I'm sure the way flashbacks are going that we'll get an episode just before, or right after Rose's passed on her physical form.
It's a hard time for all of them. Garnet has to step up to be the leader the team needs, Pearl has to accept this new creature is what Rose has become and the horror of living a life without her, and Amethyst's mother figure is gone.
Those must have been some pretty tough 12 years of readjustment before Steven started taking an active role in things.
We got moments where Garnet isn't the perfect figure.
We haven't been shown exactly how she looks to others for strength. Now that she's opening up more, we'll see some of dat.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. The first part of that 3 parter might be a cutoff.
With the 2nd and 3rd parts being the season 4 opener.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Maybe Steven will start using his dream powers to have an excuse see some events in the past.

"We got moments where Garnet isn't the perfect figure. "
Even them, Garnet is way more adjusted that Pearl and Amathyst, the former lie and break Garnet trust and the latter transformed in Rose to taunt Greg about it(which is really dickish) the closet it come is when she become addited to that videogame, that was intersting to see
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"![]()
I was thinking more like the first Future Vision episode where it shows she doesn't always make the right decision. A character based example rather than a flaw of her power.

Using Sugilite in "Coach Steven" was a bigger failure of judgement.

Yeah, future vision while good, is more about Steven rush judgment and becoming pretty much the first final destinty protagonist
Now sugilite...that seen more a faliure of judgement of her part, on the other hand one could said that more of amathys who dominate tha fusion(or that it seens)
Also, im the only one who noted the irony of Malachite, a two based fusion defeatin alexandrite who is four based one? she was stronger than her
Jasper and Lapis are stronger in general...the amount of gems in a fusion wouldn't really matter.
Lapasper fusion is just a greater fusion.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. So I walk into the topic and find yet another genuinely interesting discussion disrupted because y'all can't debate personal topics without spewing insults and getting personally offended over things.
Lapis is also OP as fuck. Planet scale hydrokenesis isn't something to mess with. And remember that it took all of Lapis's effort to keep Jasper trapped there for several months, this being the same Jasper who could go toe to toe with a permafusion.
Plus on the other side we have Pearl, who is highly trained and experienced but physically weak, a half cooked and untrained Amethyst, a grunt Ruby, and a Sapphire not trained for combat.
Lapis is insanely powerful, Jasper is insanely powerful. The CG's are meh.
Yeah, the C Gs basically have skill on their side and none of the raw power Jasper has inherently and Lapis has just by being near a river.
It's no surprise Malachite gave them trouble ddspite only being two Gems compared to their four. It takes more of them to compare on a raw physical basis.
The Blog The Art

"Steven poops, and that's funny to me." "Garnet is a fusion, and that's funny to me." "You're grossly malformed, and that's funny to me."
One of these things is not like the others...
