Her hair is always inconsistent.
That's just wind.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Randomness is bad at counting.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I admit I LOLed when I saw that Dogcopter: Turn Off the Bark was showing in Empire City.
The "Whole New World" had to be a deliberate homage; the episode is even titled "Same Old World".
I presume that Empire City is in Empire State, right next to Jersey. The Turnpike logo was identical to the real world version, but missing the "N" for New. I suppose this means there's no Jersey in the UK.
The earthquakes would be even worse than Lapis taking the ocean—the ground was opening up and swallowing people whole—unless it was only happening at those two places.
I really wish "Gem Drill" had a Keep Beach City Weird entry.

I'm starting to think that many of the differences between the SU-Earth and the real Earth have nothing to do with the Gems.

De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.It's probably a 50/50 split of differences...nothing's exactly the same in FictionLand.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. They've given cities completely different unrelated names...the three known states with different names are at least using names still related.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. As Keeping it Together to Motel was Garnet's arc about fusion abuse, this is the start of Pearl's arc about using innocent gems to power gem tech.
Also Lion was Rose's prototype run to get the Steven formula correct, using a corrupted former fusion mate of her's from back when they were in Rose Diamond together with two other gems, now lost.

Maybe it's because Amethyst rocks the spin dash, but that Amethyst vs Lapis fan animation from last page reminded me so much of the intro to Sonic CD.

The hair bothered me a little but it wasn't really that big of a deal. It seems to be back to normal in the next episode anyway.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...
