Which is why I say wait. Whether or not Jasper is beyond redemption or not is a moot point until she does something that'll either prove she can be redeemed, or prove she's crossed the Moral Event Horizon.
Either way, I just want Centipeedle back, man. I really could not give less of a fuck about Jasper, I just wanna see Centipeedle.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I shouldn't excuse Lapis' and Peridot's actions....Sure.
I'm not treating Jasper like she's done worse either, I'm just saying that I expect Jasper to "do" more bad stuff because of her personality and what she's been through.
She's not been touched by Earth or Steven like Lapis and Peridot...so, I'll just think she do more bad until the next time we see her.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I'm really not sure what to expect the next time we see Jasper since it seems the writers aren't too sure what to do with her just yet. Either that or they don't want to use her currently and instead want to focus on other things.
My Tumblr "If theirs one thing I'm good at, it's blowing" Jesse Cox 20132) She formed Malachite and trapped Jasper to protect Steven. Jasper has never done anything for someone else's sake. So we sympathize with Lapis in this scenario, and not Jasper because of her intentions being selfless.
3) Pretty sure we're meant to think it's Jasper's personality coming through when Malachite attacks the watermelon Steven, given that she mentions his name, and glares at him, it's clearly supposed echo the scene from Steven's dream in Chille Tid. And remind us of the fact that Jasper had been slowly been gaining control since that episode.

Due to various personal reasons, I'm not really willing to accept "panicking" as an excuse for attempted murder.
Plus, Jasper has had very little screentime. If you looked at the appearances Jasper has had vs Peridot's first few episodes, there's not a giant difference in morality.
And, once again, the crewniverse have explicitly stated that no one in the show is evil, and that Jasper is far more complex than we've seen so far.
No one's saying Jasper is evil...
Also screen time doesn't matter, what is done during that time matters.

That idea popped up as a hypothetical situation.

And Lapis tried to drown two kids, stole the Earth's water, trapped Jasper inside her own body for weeks (if not months) at the bottom of the ocean, killed Watermelon Stevens as Malachite, bashed Greg into his van, attempted to murder the gems, and (if she did appear in The Answer) was a part of Blue Diamond's court.
There's a massive double standard when it comes to Lapis and Jasper.
