I mean, yeah, what was done to the Cluster was pretty horrifying.
Like, the lesbian space rock equivalent of the human centipede.
Only worse. Bigger.
But the Cluster itself was sweet and precious and adorable and I love all 50 million of them and just want them to be okay.

Horrifying? The Cluster?
I don't see it. It's too beautiful.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.
I mean. If nothing else it's pretty horrifying that they were forced into becoming it against their will.
Yellow Diamond needs to be punched for that.
But. I still think it's good that they're trying to make the best of it?
And I love how much they clearly care about the Earth. Just the knowledge that forming would destroy the Earth just makes them all respond with "no".
"Can't stop. Going to form." Is said by all of them with horror and pain. And they beg Steven to help them, to stop them, because they don't want to do this.
Like. These fifty million gems give so many fucks about the Earth. They already gave up their lives once to protect it.
Part of the reason I want the Cluster to get out of the core and join the team is just.
I want Steven to meet his mom's army as a giant woman.
Is that so wrong?
Side-note, would drawing one really big gem be easier or harder than drawing a bunch of little gems?

On the other hand, in most scenes you'd only have to draw a foot.

Certainly, the concept behind the Cluster is horrifying - I just think some of the imagery behind it is pretty scary too.
But yeah, the fact that they still care about the Earth is pretty adorable and awesome - adorawesome.
I wonder if the gem shards could fuse together...maybe by focusing on their common desire to protect the Earth?
Oh God! Natural light!CN released a clip
for (I think) "Same Old World." I won't embed it in case someone wants to avoid spoilers.
Looks like Peridot really is living at the barn.

I was gonna link it too. A few people are thinking it's from Steven Floats for some reason, but it was officially put up by CN on their You Tube channel as being from Same Old World.

Steven hasn't been bubbled since he's spawned, but would his spawn continue moving if he was?
It's the endless spawn, not the mental and physical mobility (bubble himself and warp himself back to the temple, unlike the CG who get stuck everywhere) or healing powers that make RQ the most overpowered of the gems we've seen in action, beating out Lapis and Cluster.

I mean.
It's still a mangled pile of billions of screaming, sentient corpses all horrified at the monstrosity they've become, flailing desperately in the dark and clamoring for something, anything that will let them feel normal again.
But now it's in a pink bubble.
EDIT: What a fucking pagetopper.
