I'm not really sure what war tactics could possibly be described as "nice". Doesn't mean Rose was like eating babies or something.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...None of them did.
They kept themselves reclusive, remember?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well, yeah. As far as Pearl's concerned, humans are a species of garbage creature primitives to look down her hawk-like nose upon and, were it not for Steven and the tangential connection to Rose Quartz humanity held, Pearl would probably sit on an island in the middle of nowhere and never interact with humanity for the rest of her days/build another rocket and get the fuck outta town.
My various fanfics.I'm sure they care about humans. They wouldn't fight for something they don't care about. They just don't really care about solving their problems like power outages, and property damage and stuff. I think part of it was Early-Installment Weirdness, where they were trying to make them seem alien, by feeling indifferent, and I don't think it really worked that well.
The Crystal Gems historically viewed humanity as essentially being part of the local wildlife. Steven is responsible for their increasing connection to them. Even Rose never really took them seriously until Greg demanded that she took their relationship seriously.
Pearl cares about humanity and Earth for sure. Those views might come from Rose, but that doesn't mean Pearl doesn't believe them. She, however, doesn't view them as being equal to Gems.

If you mean, in the sense that she feels superior because they aren't superpowered immortals, like her and the gems, then sure I'll agree with that much.
TBH I think in Pearl's case she acts that way because of an Inferiority Superiority Complex. She feigns an air of superiority because she's insecure. And humans are just kind of an easy target to compare herself to and feel superior.

No, they really don't like humans that much, at the very least, Amethyst is the only one who actually defends earth because she likes it there. Pearl is only doing it because Rose said so. Mostly same for Garnet, but its also kind of because its the only place she won't be killed for being an fusion of two gems that are from different castes. But otherwise, she only cares about steven.
That said, i'm sure that if Pearl went back to homeworld she would want to go back to earth in the blink of an eye.
I don't think they dislike humans though. They're just indifferent. Kind of like how someone doesn't really care to get to know all their neighbors.
At least part of it is because of We Are as Mayflies. According to Pearl, humans live short boring, lives.
Yeah, to say that they don't care, or only pretend to because Rose did is being unfair. Amethyst likes humans quite a lot, Garnet while not overly fond still is nice to those she's interacted with, and Pearl is at least getting polite. Like they did a pretty good job being hosts when the Pizzas showed up.
They don't get why property would be important and just don't comprehend why they do what they do, but still they consider them sapient creatures that deserve to have their lives protected, even if they're boring ones to Pearl.
I loved seeing Rose get angry over her beloved Greg in that comic. First because I love seeing kind characters get into righteous anger and I love Grose. LOL. It the first and only time I've seen her angry. No other comic so far has depicted her this way.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end. This, yes.
Imagine you rebelled against your government and fought a war for 10 years to protect these sentient gerbil-aliens, but then you realize in addition to being short-lived and weak they're actually somewhat annoying, doesn't justify wiping them all out but it kind of sucks that you're stuck on gerbil planet forever now and your love interest keeps flirting with them like what the f.
He wasn't wrong though, multiple smaller women can be a perfectly adequate alternative to one huge woman. Pretty dickish not to pay child support though.
Diamond Authority are y'know, one of those cases. They're basically deities, and as a result they are very vain and see everyone else as pawns or pests.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.You could said the actituded of the gem regarding humanity is the one of the steriotypical first world person toward a steriotypical third world one: it range from a general sense of help to just condesencing pity, they help humanity but have not desire to learn, understand or grow close to them, they just...exist.
the best I see gems is like a mix between The eldar, the sayains and the vulcan, all run into one
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"See, I don't get "pearl hates humans" from that comic.
I get "Pearl hates Greg".
Also: "If you could only know, what we really are, when we arrived on Earth, from out beyond your star, We were amazed to find, your beauty and your worth! And we will protect your kind, and we will protect your Earth."

Earth must be destroyed because...
- To end example of CG lesbian free love commune.
- The CG pose some actual threat to the empire.
- To avenge losses suffered during the rebellion.
- To cover up acts that sparked the rebellion.
- To cover up fact that gems have human form because they were designed by humans.
...no. First off, the idea that Humans Are Special inherently goes against the very themes of the show (our experiences are what make us unique and different), secondly it'd basically kill the idea of any gem backstory more complex than "some guys made us way back when".
If anything I'd say it's a combination of "covering up acts that started the rebellion", read: whatever actually happened to Pink Diamond, secondly it's to crush the ideals that sparked the rebellion.

I think we should wait till both appear more before we call them truly evil.
