Some interesting discussion and speculation on the Diamonds' respective motifs.
Then the song "stops" on one of these chords and uses it exclusively throughout the rest of the piece.
Yellow Diamond's theme
stops on the B Major 7th. Blue Diamond's theme
stops on the E Major 7th. I'd wager that White Diamond's theme will use the F# Major 7th chord, and Pink Diamond's theme will use the A Major 7th.
I just found that Rose enters on a very prominent A Minor 7th chord in "Young Gems"
. Make of it what you will.
I think it's very likely she was involved somehow.

That first one is hot...ha.
If Peridot gets her limb enhancers back, she's probably going to get a bit of a redesign (kind of how they used Garnet reforming in Jail Break to introduce us to her new appearance). That pic makes me see just how hard it must be to get her body proportions consistent in both designs.
The second pic, though. I can't wait to see how Peridot reacts to Stevonnie.

With ascended limbs, the thigh area is slightly longer...but it'd not be much awkward.
That's because it's difficult to have her thighs and upper arms be the same length and have her limbs not look super weird in terms of forearm/shin length (since the enhancers connect at her elbow/knee), so people tend to draw her so that she looks like she would be taller than she actually is even knowing that the enhancers are there.
The show itself did it too, but is a bit more careful about it especially once it got closer to Catch and Release.

Careful as in...with her limb enhancements she was the only character with consistent proportion and height.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well Peridot was part of the Homeworld party that took her prisoner and dragged her back to Earth.
The fact that Jasper was worse to her isn't really going to change that she has no reason to feel kindly toward Peridot.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersOh right!
I forgot people used to ship Lapis and Peridot on the basis that they were the two Homeworld Gems we knew about.
Huh! We've sure come a long way.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPeridot fled the ship that she was supposed to be driving, making it crash land, and preventing any chance of Steven rescuing Lapis in time to escape. Destroying the ship was also why Jasper had to go to such extreme measures to fight the Crystal Gems (If the ship was functional, they could have just blasted them with it)
I'd be pretty damn mad at Peridot too.
She don't know dat.
That's reason for the CG to be mad, but they already did do.

Hercules gets a little bit of nostalgia now, but it wasn't really regarded as that great of a movie at the time. And it's still not really seen as being as good as some of their greats. So its not that strange you didn't see it.
There's clearly some differences in the way Meg and Rose were voiced IMO though. Either way it's not really something I would have guessed, since it's not a movie I tend to remember.
