Again that's part of the issue with the way Future wrapped up. I get that Pink's history is mostly done and it shouldn't be Steven's burden, but trying to carry the burdens Pink created and dealing with his diamond powers emerging + his outburst at Greg suggests that some of the stress was part of that.
I dunno, I get that stemming discussion of Pink might of helped for a while (but then that was the issue to begin with). But Pearl and Greg (most of all) never really had a proper closure talk. "It's Over Isn't It" is close as it gets, but then that was more about Pearl and Greg's rivalry and Pearl accepting it was time to let go of her feelings, more than them really reconciling with Steven about Pink.

When did she say Emerald would come back???
Okay, now that I have... mostly calmed down, random thought-string time!
- Those shrub Stevens really did just want to help, bless their leafy hearts
- I love how they played with Onion's ambiguous humanity by having him just casually taking part in Gem activities.
- The pity party can be summarized as thus;
The Diamonds & Spinel: I suck!Connie: You all suck, but that's not the point right now!
- Honestly I feel like "Everything's Fine" and "I Am My Monster" would've been better as one half-hour, and if things were taken a little more slowly, but the ending of the latter was great.
- Speaking of, of course Etienne's promo is the big super dramatic "anime showdown" one. I expect nothing less from him.
- Amethyst's complaint of there only being one save file is something I really felt
- Hey, Mr. Frowney! I'm surprised they brought him of all people back for the finale.
And one other thing I wanted to point out; Flint and Chert were originally characters meant to be part of the Off Colors but got scrapped because the group was already pretty big, so it's cool to see they still did something with those two in the end.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Will say I would have liked it if Steven and Connie went on a break from their relationship. That way they can enjoy their trip together without letting any Steven issues come back even with him seeing a therapist.

while nobody should feel obligated to stay to deal with mental health issues. Connie's decision works for her as a character, she's mature enough to see that Steven's proposal wasn't coming from the right place at this time, It wasn't the time, that doesn't mean it won't ever will be. But only once Steven is genuinely asking, and not because he's scared of being abandoned again or deciding he wants to be Stevonnie forever rather than deal with himself.
She could of walked away so easy, but she wanted to and made it very clear she wanted to continue having a relationship with Steven. As someone who's had depression, I can relate with how Steven was feeling/acting as I did similar things when my depression was at it's worst.
Well other than the whole turning into a massive diamond monster thing, but there were certainly days I might of felt that way ha.
I mean half of Steven's family has been running from dealing with stuff. So it's a little new that someone isn't running or getting super upset. Rather than fighting physically to protect him, Connie ends up being the one who most gets what's going on with him.
