Here's a video from CN Brazil (in English!) where Rebecca talks about absurd fan theories.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢It's weird Sugar would consider what Lapis Lazulis use their water for a spoiler when we learned it's for terraforming two years ago. She mentions stuff in a more recent episode ("Are You My Dad?), so it's probably not just the Brazilian dub being far behind.
Come to think of it, Steven totally could bring an actual onion to life. Wonder what it would look/sound like.
Steven's always treated the Melons in a weird way. He mourned Baby Melon but then immediately started eating his remains.

All of the boarders for "Battle of Heart and Mind", as stated by Joe Johnston.
Not only is Joe back for this episode too, but so's Ian!
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢He’s also confirmed the Working Title was “Change Your Mind”, which leaked (along with “Reunited”) way back in 2017.
In fact, it seems he didn’t get the memo on the name change.
Alternate “Familiar” promo with some storyboards.

You know i must say, I am really and undeniably worried about what is going to go on in next week’s episode
I mean, who are we going to lose as characters?
What efforts are we going to see become undone?
What bonds are we going to see become damaged and/or broken?
What series changing events are we going to be shown?
> I mean, who are we going to lose as characters?
As in permanently dead, shattered, slain ect? No one, don't think anyone is going to permanently die as much as die get the healing tears treatment,it's either going be
1)Pearl:Way back season season 1 she was poofed by a pale looking holo Pearl which some people think could mean something
2)Amethyst:Has come the closest to being shattered as her Gem was cracked and later healed
3) Connie, most vulnerable member of the team on account of being human,I've seen a lot of Pink Connie fanart to know people think she could get the lars's treatment
4)Steven:Sacrificing himself to save his friends is something he's done before, but is going to heal Steven if his Gem is cracked?
Ruling out Garnet,Ruby and Sapphire for reasons
New theme music also a boxI think chances of shattering goes White > Yellow = Blue > small > really small > anyone else.
Wonder if White Diamond might just cure corruption as a last favor, abandon the Empire entirely, and go off to deep space—and Steven will have to live the rest of his life worrying what she has planned.
Think we're gonna find out how White knew Pink returned? Or was it just because of the ship, and jumping to convenient conclusions because there were only eighty seconds left in the episode?
I think the moment Steven used his dream walking powers to contact Blue and Yellow he appeared on White's radar, and given how Steven was able to reach Earth and control one of the melons it's not too much of a stretch to suggest White has a similar range
New theme music also a boxJust found a really cool post about the use of instrument leitmotifs in the overall OST of the show. It's really noticeable here, with Lapis's theme being layered over by Garnet's (bass), Amethyst's (drums), Pearl's (piano), and Steven and Connie's (chiptune) in succession.
It's been fun. That is a very good post. The music in SU (minus the songs) never gets talked about as much, and it's a real shame. I hope a soundtrack for the background music gets released eventually so it can be cleanly listened to.
And hey, the post even includes some humans! That's a surprise-
Wait what
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Huh, I just noticed in the promo that all of the Crystal Gems are still poofed. Maybe getting struck by Yellow's lightning just necessitates they take much longer to regenerate, for some reason.
Or they're biding their time. They can actively slow or quicken beyond their normal regeneration time, at least Amethyst can.
I didn’t realize humans besides Greg, Connie, and (recently) Lars had motifs.
@LBSK: Try as I might, I can find no consistent explanation for how long reformation takes. Even after establishing “more effort means more time”, it’s for the most part plot-dependent.
Why?

I just imagine every time a Gem gets poofed they have to pick a new form from a mental wardrobe, and there are a lot of combinations to choose from! That and getting attached to one form makes it hard to change
New theme music also a boxNo idea, really. Just the first thing that came to mind. Lay low and reform when nobody's expecting it kind of thing. Though, in hindsight, that requires Gems to be more aware of their surroundings than we've seen (when Amethyst reformed in the Jasper fight on the beach, she was panicked and thinking the fight as still going).
If gems can be aware of their surroundings while poofed, Amethyst was likely focused at speeding up her reforming to protect Steven and Connie to even think about what was going on around her.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Pearl can take up to two weeks to reform after being poofed, Ruby and Sapphire likely take a few hours based off of when Jasper poofed Garnet and put them in jail. Amethyst could reform almost immediately, but after character development she might be deciding to stay put and make sure she comes back strong.
Oissu!I mean, under normal circumstances sure, but they're already aware they're in a dire situation.
I don't see any of them taking any longer than actually needed, which seems to be Pearl's thing.
It's also not consistent if they're conscious or not while poofed. Being able to consciously change form and take extra time to do so suggests they are, but Peridot was poofed and Un-Paused in the middle of a sentence.
Now that I think about it, every previous time a gem was bubbled, they reformed instantly, presumably because even time in a bubble can be spent toward developing a new form. Them not doing so next episode might have a specific explanation. Or not.
I've been wondering lately is being in a bubble is actually meant to be a healing stasis. Being in one reduces recovery time. Though that raises the question of why the Crystal Gems don't use it for themselves.
they dont really use the bubbles because there's only a few of them and to meet any threats they need to have the full team together

Granted, the melons are possibly so loyal to Steven, any of them may have done so if he asked. But they didn't.
The ending theme updated again, and now "Love Like Your (Reprise)" is up to the third-to-last line of the original (the last two being "Love like youLove me like you"). I'll link Phizzy's compilation video as soon as he updates it.
