If production values make a movie real, then I guess independent films literally don't exist.
I guess TV movies are the equivalent now to what a B-Movie used to be. Might makes sense since Sharknado was a TV movie when it came out.

Even if the budget/time is basically the same (it's usually moderately higher), it'll be written in a significantly different manner even compared to sequential episodes like Out of This World or Wanted.

Over the Garden Wall is a 10-episode miniseries that I feel like you could sew the episodes together into one big movie (like watching them back-to-back) and it would still be as amazing as it currently is.
Well a lot of people saw Over the Garden Wall that way because it released first digitally.
Still, it’s not a movie because it’s divided up into episode.
Hey, so uh... Did they mention anything about Save the Light at the panel?
Edit: oh hey, there's already a trope page for the movie.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢So they aren't airing the New Episode atm, just some old season 1 episodes.
The TV schedules would have caught a premier weeks ago—and a suddenly TV release would be completely pointless anyway. What should be coming in a few days in an on-demand release.
Based on a tweet we should expect the new episode on the CN app today or tomorrow.
I don't think I've ever been this excited for an episode of the show. I almost regret spoiling myself.
Likewise. It's apparently only eleven minutes, which considering what supposedly happens means this is going to be a jam packed episode.
Sling TV usually shows when on-demand episodes will unlock days or even weeks in advance, but isn't showing anything for Steven Universe right now. That gives me an annoying feeling that it and several other on-demand services won't have until days after they're supposed to.
Although the announcement of the movie explains some of the oddities of late regarding the show's production, it's still up in the air whether the future for the show proper is ending soon (with or without the movie concluding the story), a longer-than-expected fifth season, a sixth season, or yet to be decided.
However, it seems the movie was produced separately from the series, which includes some staff shake-ups.
- Ben Levin and Matt Burnett were still part of the writing staff. This may have been before or after they started work on Craig of the Creek.
- Ian Jones-Quartey actually came back to be on the movie's story team.
- Chris Pianka confirms the job he got as Steven Universe storyboard artist, which he started in November and has already finished, was for the movie.
- Nicole Rodriguez likewise confirmed the storyboard revisionist job she started in March is for the movie.
- Beck, of Franky&Becky, is the lead character designer. For reference, that role was done for most of the show's history by Danny Hynes, who moved onto Craig of the Creek and Pinky Malinky.

Easy to overlook given the other stuff, but it's been announced that OK K.O. is having a crossover episode featuring, amongst others, Garnet.
That could be pretty funny - everyone'll think a new Ruby arrived.
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty.Ben's face, oh my god
I really need to catch up with OK K.O. at some point.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢It's likely going to be set in K.O.'s world or some kind of Inn Between the Worlds.
In semi-official news, Hilary Florido made a zine about Yellow Pearl and Blue Pearl messing around in Beach City.

And someone got their hands on a copy and scanned it.
I'd like to point out that OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes previously had a crossover with, of all things, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, and they got a good portion of the original cast to reprise their roles.

Wow, I didn’t know that. I’m going to need to watch that show at some point
"Legs From Here to Homeworld" promo. (Unlike Florido's guess, it's still not online yet.)
So it turns out "A Single Pale Role" was not her last episode as storyboard artist. Not sure whether that means she started the storyboard supervisor role later or did both at once.

Please CN, have mercy on us and release the episode already.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢It'll probably be at 7:30 PM EST on the app if it's coming today.
It's still not the same as an actual theatrical movie. With editing and production values and everything.
