@superboy313, That was beautiful. Seriously, good parody song right there.
Best AU. 10/10.
@31976: Honestly, my favorite part is the taken for granted Jasperedemption.

There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.I sometimes like to imagine that SU's version of the UN is currently panicking out of its own mind right now.
@Scott Pilgrim 2013 lol Drake and Josh.
@madprophet: Oh, right, the world-wide, ground-splitting earthquake. Nothing to be alarmed about.

I love Peridot's face at the end.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...WARNING: Contains some major dad humor.
All of those would be good names for a rock band.
Gave them our reactions, our explosions, all that was ours For graphs of passion and charts of stars...Ha. I see what you did there.
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty. Not to mention the new island nation technically not populated by humans, but by beings obviously sentient.
Oh and the potential of alien invasion looming on the horizon. That too.
So I'm not sure if it's because of the story or because of all the "specials", but I feel like this show's changed. Instead of each episode dealing with its own mystical/alien conflicts and bringing its characters out because of those conflicts, it only does that some of the time. Like, I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure all the recent Bombs have gone like this:
BIG PREMIERE EPISODE WOW ACTION BOOM DRAMA
then a handful of filler episodes that deal with minor characters and little to no tension towards the characters
BIG FINAL EPISODE BOOM WOW ACTION DRAMA conclusion
And so far...this four-week thing seems to be going down the same road. I don't hate it, just that I am sort of missing what the show was before its schedule poofed and shattered. I liked the "Steven, lead by his guardians, the Crystal Gems, learns about the importance of life while dealing with the fallout from an interstellar war, which often overlaps with the normal life in Beach City" more than the "Steven talks to somebody we already know and occasionally meets with exactly one Beach City-goer". Does that make sense?
I sort of feel like we're starting to level off with the hype levels. While Sugar's teased some shit for the Fall, we don't have quite as much on Summer of Steven, which leads me to believe we'll be returning to the old routine for a bit.
It's just been that recently there have been a lot of major status quo shifts, and there needed to be quite a few episodes to accommodate them.
YES!! Someone put "A Whole New World" and Steven Universe together!! 8D
In addition to Aladdin, I also thought of The Lion King.
"Everything the light touches is our kingdom."
"What about that shadowed place?"
"That's Jersey. You must never go there."
Rebecca retweeted this from Lamar (A story boarder on the new ep). It's pretty funny.
I thought it was just me, but I noticed that by the end of the episode, the front of Lapis's hair was bigger than her head!

Fanfic about the Cluster.
I need this to happen.
I need Steven to get a giant planet-sized gem mom.
