I noticed lack of one general thread regarding Warhammer Fantasy, so I decided to create a one. :)
Not only Warhammer Fantasy Battle discussions welcomed, but also all things related to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (regardless of edition).
If anyone has questions regarding Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay's second edition, feel free to ask since I own most of its sourcebooks.
Warhammer 40,000 has its own thread here

Yeah, my adopted cousin really likes Tzeentch's daemons because of how weird they are, like the pink horrors, kids like that stuff, but I wonder when she's older and inevitably goes through her teenage rebel phase, if she'll switch to Khorne and pick Valkia and Skarbrand.
She really doesn't care for Nurgle daemons. I am not showing her Slaanesh.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Today on Warhammer Community there was the reveal of the Boxing Day
commemorative miniature(s) Galen and Doralia: Outnumbered
◊. A little underwhelming but still good models that can be based on one or two bases.
Today's Warhammer Community reveal
is the Grand Master
of the my second favourite Empire Knightly Order, the Knights Panther. A very nice model with a pose that I am sure is based on my favourite piece of Warhammer art
◊. EDIT: In fact a loot of the model may be based on that piece of art.

Double-post: Pete the Wargamer has converted the Blood Beast of Khorne, which hasn't received an official model and hasn't been seen before Total War. @Red Hunter 543: He's got some good hints for kitbashing it together, if you need one for your Khorne army.
This time on the Old World Almanack
they present vintage Empire miniatures made-to-order. I particularly like the Commanders of the Empire, Empire Engineers and Battle-Standard Bearer.
Double-post: Another edition of the Old World Almanack, this time focusing on the Empire's Armies of Infamy
. The interview concerns how to make an army of Nuln, balanced and diverse enough to not just be focused on guns, and an army based around the different Knightly Orders.
2025's Store Anniversary model for the Age of Sigmar is Knight-Zephyros Estenna of Brighthall
◊, a nice model that would have been better without the ugly hair.
Double-post: A Bretonnian dragon-slayer
joins the Old World. He reminds me of the Blood Dragon vampires, which he could easily be turned into, with a different paintjob and a pair of fangs from green-stuff. He would then resemble the literary description of Dracula.
Warhammer Underworlds has a new warband: Borgit's Beastgrabbaz
, who would fit just fine among Night Goblins of the Old World.
A bit off-topic, but side-scrolling images is among the chief things that I dislike with the new Community site. The photos are larger now than before, which is good, but I really hate having to scroll so far down before the little side-arrow becomes visible.
Double-post: The Warhammer Almanack features some of the Knightly Orders of the Empire
this time. At the same time the Blacktalons
become the first action-figures for AOS. These figures look like they could be repurposed as statues, especially Hendrick the Silver Wolf. He reminds me a lot of that statue of Lothar
in WOW.
Reveals for Fantasy from the latest preview:
Black Library Celebration Miniature
: Gotrek's current companion Maleneth Witchblade
◊. The model is good but I feel the face seems a bit off (although that could be just how she is painted).
Age of Sigmar
: New Soulblight Gravelords Deathrattle Wights (the mounted Wight King
◊ is my favourite) and a proper model for Prince Vhordrai
◊, which is awesome. There is also a new Vampire Lord on Nightmare
◊ who looks very nice, especially with the axe.
Old World:
- High Elf models
new and old. Ishaya Vess, Sentinel of the Silent Isle
◊ looks great.
- Beasts of Chaos
character Kralmaw, the Prophet of Ruin
◊ who also looks good.

So much goodness! I love the Wights and Vampires a lot, as they look like they were meant for WHFB. Wouldn't surprise me if the metaplot of OW at some point could advance to a time-period where GW can casually re-release the Skaven and Vampires meant for AOS. I am intrigued that Vhordai's mount isn't a zombie-dragon, but the AOS equivalent of a *Dracolich*.
At the time I wasn't into the High Elves, but since they were gone I've studied up on the range and started to appreciate the aesthetics much more. I am tempted to get some of these units, especially those sweet Phoenix Guard. I could kitbash High Elves with their Dark Elf kin, to make them look a bit more brutal, as I want to convert them into Blood Elves from Warcraft. For that purpose I could get myself Maleneth Witchblade, because she would probably look in red and gold and with glowing green eyes.
Kralmaw is among the finest Beastman shaman-type models I've seen, so naturally I'd like to have him.

Tzeentch has the least conventionally demonic aesthetic to its faction, at least when it comes to European-influenced fantasy. Rather the Tzeentchians have a mixture of visual elements associated with Eastern mysticism, from anywhere between Ancient Mesopotamia and Feudal Japan. I really like the bird-motif on the Daemons and the Tzaangors, which reminds me of both Skeksis and Arakkoa. I might get myself a box of them and convert some vicious birdmen for myself, with plenty of feathers from green stuff.
