'm not into social media and i'm constantly annoyed that some sites or contests are asking me to like them on facebook or follow them on twitter.
So if i join twitter for following for certain products to come out or to enter contests, can i not reveal my personal info and ignore anyone who message me etc?

I'm unsure where to put this, but I was using Twitter earlier. i went to type something to someone I know. Usually the autofill works alright, but currently the top choice is someone I have never talked to nor would ever wish to talk to.
I can't get them off my feed, and I don't know what criteria to search for to get rid of this or if I even can.
The Protomen enhanced my life.
