For a list of bad laconics, see Sandbox.Pages Needing Better Laconics.
For generally accepted guidelines for laconics, see Sandbox.Laconic Wiki Template.
Today I found out an interesting fact from troper Ironeye:
Don't ever make the mistake of using the Laconic version as the canonical trope meaning—the laconics are often written by people who don't actually understand the drop. In this case, the laconic only corresponds to one possible cause of Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy.
The Laconic Description for DIAA states as follows:
The thing is, these descriptions are supposed to make it easier to understand what the page is about. If they can't be accurate as well as short and sweet, then there's a problem.
So for starters, what would be a better description for DIAA?

Laconic.Brainy Baby is not very useful. A suggestion:
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.Current:
Suggestion:
Because the inescapable nature of the arena or something seems to be important, from what I know. And it's not always a boss battle.
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576
I support the suggestion. The current would fit for Wolfpack Boss, but not a Multi-Mook Melee.
The Laconic page of Soylent Green is full of spoilers marks. What to do with it?
"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"If there are actually spoilers in the laconic, then it should be rephrased.
Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna. It's a meh laconic relying on the one thing everyone knows about the movie, not the rest of the plot.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. But what if people don't know the spoilers movie and the spoilers?
"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"That's another reason why it's bad. My point was that, even putting spoilers aside, it's not descriptive at all.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Laconic.Partially Civilized Animal reads:
The problem with this is not only that it only states the obvious, but it doesn't make sense without knowing the definition a Civilized Animal (though I have no problem mentioning Civilized Animal somewhere). In contrast, Laconic.Civilized Animal is the following (which is fine as is):
Any ideas of how to improve Laconic.Partially Civilized Animal?

Fjón þvæ ég af mér fjanda minna rán og reiði ríkra manna.Laconic.World Of Silence: An Assimilation Plot results in a quiet, emotionless world.
I don't think Assimilation Plot is the main method of achieving it and "quiet" is ambiguous in this context. Nor it accounts that more often than not it's an Evil Plan that gets foiled. Suggestion:
- A villain tries to improve the world by making the entire population be unable to make undesired (if any) decisions.

Perhaps the summary of Partially Civilized Animal that appears on Civilized Animal is the guideline to use?
"Partially Civilized Animal exhibits some form of civilized behavior, but is more likely to have a minimally anthropomorphized body shape and the majority of the mannerisms are ones you would expect in an animal."
So, perhaps:
"The animal exhibits some form of civilised behaviour, but its body shape and movements are minimally anthropomorphised, and its behaviour and mannerisms are mostly normal for its animal-type."

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. Can anyone please help me with Laconic.Soylent Green? It's been unresolved. Thanks.
"Now it's starting to feel like a game!"
Delete the two after the first. Multiple laconics aren't allowed under any circumstances, and the second is unhelpful while the third is just a useless X Meets Y thing.
Laconic.Deponia: Monkey Island: Diesel Punk Edition
Suggestion:
The scrapyard planet's resident fool discovers an unconscious noblewoman from the flying city and trying to deliver her back for a reward discovers a Government Conspiracy.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupLaconic.Battle Angel Alita: Cyberpunk Fist of the North Star.
Suggestion:
A Robot Girl with amnesia works as a bounty hunter in the junkyard world.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupHuh, you just reminded me that the Recycled In Space cleanup is... basically unstarted.
Anyway,

Laconic.Thriller (for the Trope) is just "Anticipation of action, rather than action itself." How about:
