It works, but I'm worried we'd get some confusion with Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?.

Because he looks so utterly terrified as that trope would have him. I don't see any confusion. What confusion would there be?

Because of the speech bubble. Not seeing a reason of concern though.

Would you confuse any image someone says "no" in with Big "NO!" or Little "No"?

No, but I've seen people confuse "a supervillain who had boxing lessons at some point in his life" with Boxing Lessons for Superman. But I agree — this isn't going to be a problem.

Unless some poor fool steals the image to post to the other page, of course. But I'm sure that will never happen.

Bumping the thread. Do we want to use #24, wait for a new image, or just close it?

24 is alright, but just alright...I can barely read the wolf's speech bubble, which is a strike against it for me.

Assuming this doesn't get used in for Emotionless Girl, the first two panels of this would be great for this page.

Taking a broadsword to the face says No-Sell rather than Nerves of Steel to me — a key aspect of Nerves of Steel is that a less-gutsy character would be petrified with fear but this one isn't. Jones on the other hand, has nothing to fear.

Hmmmm...you know, that two-panel shot is pretty good for No-Sell. It certainly gets around the problem of the unreadable text in that one's current image.

Nope, the blade hits her cheek and bounces off...that's what the sound effect in the second panel is for. You can also see the strike mark on her cheek.

I count six people so far who don't think #24 is the worst image that could be used for the page — is that enough to stick it up there until someone comes up with better, or should we just leave the discussion open longer?

Agree with Noa... I didn't have any idea that was what happened, I just assumed it missed barely.

Good enough for me, at least.

Speaking of Zero Context Examples, the whole page could use some serious cleanup for this. Just throwing that out there.
