(EDIT: Have somehow managed to call this work, 'The world's end'. Its correct title of course 'World Without End'. Can A MOD change the title?)

So is anyone else watching this in the UK? Or seen it as it has aired in the USA?

Although I have not read either of the books. I watched its predecessor The Pillars Of The Earth in 2011 and enjoyed it. Admittedly it got hammy every once in a while but it had a strong enough cast to pick up the slack when it got contrived.

World Without End however has not got a strong cast. What parts there are a bit 'forced'? (Right word?) Good characters are very-very good, Bad characters are very very bad.

Thoughts anyone? Or would Astute US/Canadian viewers advise if it gets better?

Well, I liked Merthin, kinda found the Caris relationship a little too...I can't exactly say the word, its floating around up there, but each time I type it, I disagree and say its something else.

Ralph, no, just no. Stop. You are not supposed to be attractive in any way, shape, or form. But...dammit.

I rather like how the show went, just a little disappointed I couldn't see the episodes as they aired, instead of watching after the thing's over.

Strangled by the Red String? I hope they do not drag out the Star Crossed lovers approach.

Its worth sticking with?
