...Well, more like a magical girl and a Kamen Rider (who are supernatural PIs) use the powers of magic and SCIENCE! to combine into a more powerful magical girl, but...

...Actually that sounds nothing like Vividred Operation. I am the master of dumb overreactions.[lol] Uh, so yeah, will get back to work on that. >.>

  • Name: Tyrone Currington. Fighting Moniker: Trash Talk. Also has a personal nickname (Sparks) due to his techno affinity.
  • Age: 22 when stopped from aging.
  • Race: Human
  • Gender: M
  • Appearance: I'm not exactly someone you care to look at. You know, black hair, (shrug) glasses...
  • Clothes, Costumes and Armor: When walking around day to day, I wear, like, clothes. During battles, well I'm sure you've seen my C54-X Battlesuit (see below)
  • Personality: I'm... me. You know just a nice guy, do what I can when I can, turn up for the 9-5... Then I step into that arena... everything changes. I just feel the rush, like it's just some big game. But either way, get under the other guy's skin, taunt 'em, play to the crowd. It's a barrel of fun. I like making those pop-culture references too. That's what I think you call 'em. You know, I don't actually care much for these fancy miracle-tokens. I'm pretty happy just being here.
  • Profession: Well, when I'm not fighting I'm working down at Dak's Garage. You know, I got a job in case and I get access to the tools too.
  • Bio: Ha, quite an unsung hero I am at home. You see, I'm from Earth, circa 2054. Big MegaCorp, Hyperion basically rules the world because they make exosuits nobody else can replicate. Their main line is the H52 - Hyperion Model 2052, comes in four different versions, P, for Power, S for Speed, C for Cloak and UA for Up-Armor. So I take a job with Hyperion and I start researching these suits. 2054, I make the X, the eXtreme version - the one I use, dub it the Currington Model 2054 - and rather than tell Hyperion I made it, I go to the world's governments, give them the plans to manufacture these. They say those suits changed the whole war for the real governments to take their land back. But after that, got a little boring, you know? One thing leads to another, I end up here.
  • Categories and Affiliations: You know, I don't think I fit many of these category things. I guess you could count me as English. And I guess being one of the guys around here really into tech is something. Look, I dunno, figure it out for yourself.
  • Abilities: Well, me? Think I know my way around anything techno pretty well. 'Course way I always beat you into the dirt is 'cause I'm smart and I learn your style. The suit's my main thing though, maybe I should say what that should do? Well let's see. Don't matter what mode I put it in it makes me a bit faster and stronger than a normal human anyway and it's always taking measurements like wind and that so I always hit with the bow. Also I got the GravBoots that mean I can cling onto walls and stuff. Pretty neat, disorienting sometimes though. Runs off of a Orion power pack too, one that charges off of the thermal in the air and the suit's waste heat. Of course, I always have my digihammer and my digibow. I mean, I could take a gun but where's the fun? Then we get to the juicy bit, the suit's special modes. There are different little arm-gadgets although 'cause trying to control them individually would cause some nasty feedback in the BCI, I had to bind them to modes.
    • First up we got the Armor Mode. That's the one with the blue lights on the suit. It puts all the suit's spare energy into making a Deflector Shield to keep me protected, but unlike the other modes, doesn't make the digibow or hammer get all elemental. The right arm gadget in the Armor Mode is a deployable metal shield whilst the other one, that ain't used.
    • Then we go to the Speed Mode, where the lights get all yellow. When I got Speed on, I... well go really fast. Also, the GravBoots go into overdrive, and I can even run on the ceilings. This thing does something at least to the bow and hammer - in fact, it electrifies them. This mode activates the Energy Net, which is like that thing Cyrax in Mortal Kombat uses and the grappling hook which is like the GET OVER HERE gun from Scorpion
    • Next up is Power Mode, red light, makes me hit like a shit-ton of bricks, to put it simply. 'Course, strong enough in this mode that I can one-hand that digihammer, which is like... on fire. So are the digiarrows though, so I guess I'm consistent. Got for this a little arm rocket, but the rockets in it aren't that powerful. Concussive force'll knock you on your arse though. Also, flamethrower.
    • Finally, got a Cloak on the suit that has to turn of the other modes.
  • Possessions: Well... I got my exosuit, ain't that much else.

In dalt's abscence right now, I'll make a guess not.

Biggest restriction is no crossover characters from a franchise. No bringing the Kid, Misaka Mikoto or Darth Vader themselves into the battle. That said, expies are fine but try to make them their own thing instead of disguising the character as much as you can to get them accepted.

So, uh... Here we go. Think this is the longest signup I've ever written, which... Irks me a little bit, since I think signups should be concise and to the point, but oh well. >.<

  • Name: Chiyoko Rika and Susan Whitnall, AKA SciRider and MagiGlider, Paranormal Investigators, and their combined form Magical Science Warrior (or Scientific Magical Warrior, depending on who's personality is dominant at the time) Eureka.
  • Age: Rika is 18, Susan is 19
  • Race: Human (Psychic)
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: Rika on the left, and Susan on the right. Their combined form, Eureka, currently utilising the Archaeology and Conjuration Alchemic Drivers (note that this is just a rough approximation of her appearance; the actual Eureka looks more around the same age as her component parts).
  • Clothes, Costumes and Armour: Rika generally favours more boyish clothes, like shirts and pants, and she is never seen without her trademark fedora. Susan, on the other hand, dresses more femininely, and is almost never seen out of a dress or skirt. As SciRider, Rika wears a suit of power armour that looks like this. As MagiGlider, Susan wears a more traditional looking magical girl outfit.
  • Personality:
    • Rika: A logical sceptic who, whilst she's seen enough to accept the existence of magic, still thinks it can be explained under scientific law. Also, she's kind of a lech with a weakness for pretty girls. Generally more serious and sarcastic than Susan, except when it comes to girls. Rika can come off as somewhat tomboyish, especially when compared to her partner, which makes it somewhat surprising when she reveals her cooking skills to others (then again, she admittedly only learned how to cook to impress girls, so...). She's a big fan of tokusatsu, especially Kamen Rider, which may explain a few things about SciRider...
    • Susan: Unlike her partner, Susan seems to rely more on faith than logic, and fully believes that magic is a vast, inexplicable force that cannot be fully understood by scientific law. She's generally rather cheerful and friendly, although she can get rather exasperated at Rika's tendency to flirt with every pretty girl she meets. Susan has a passion for the arts, especially music; she is an accomplished pianist, and has a great love for many British bands *. Despite being the girlier of the two, Susan cannot cook to save her life.
  • Profession: Paranormal and Supernatural Private Investigators, and the world's first two-in-one magical girl.
  • Bio: Two college students who, through a trick of fate, ended up inheriting the transformation devices of a magical girl who used the powers of both magic and science to fight evil. And then decided to become supernatural PIs, as fighting evil is all well and good, but they still needed something to help pay their student loans*.
  • Categories and Affiliations: College students, private investigators, magical girls, science and magic. Their only affiliation is to the cause of justice. For what it matters, Rika is Japanese and Susan is English.
  • Abilities:
    • Psychic Powers: Both Rika and Susan are possessed of psychic powers (although Susan believes them to be magical), which they use to help solve crimes. Rika is a psychometer and is able to read the history of an inanimate object simply by touching it and focusing. Susan is an empath, and can feel the emotions of those within a close radius; she is also able to use this power to tell when someone is lying (she can't tell what exactly they're lying about, only that they told a lie). Using her empathic powers combined with a little magic to synchronize with Rika is how Susan allows the two to merge into Eureka.
    • Transformation: By using their respective transformation trinkets, Rika and Susan can transform into magical girls (although it's stretching the term a bit to call Rika one). Susan transforms into a more traditional magical girl named MagiGlider, who is fast and possesses powerful techniques but can barely take a hit. Rika, on the other hand, transforms into SciRider, a form that can really only be described as a Kamen Rider; her armour gives her great defensive abilities, but limits her speed and maneuverability. Whilst both forms give them a boost to their abilities, they aren't exactly the most powerful transformations out there; Eureka is much more than the sum of her parts, after all.
    • Fusion: Both sets of Alchemic Drivers once belonged to a single magical girl, and although neither of them alone can utilise both sets and become this magical girl, with the help of Susan's empathic powers both her and Rika can synchronize their spirits and merge into a single being, the Magical Science Warrior (or Scientific Magical Warrior) Eureka*. Whichever girl's mind is dominant in their combined form varies depending on various factors, and the fusion can only happen when both girls are conscious, within touching distance, are both willing to fuse and have both already transformed. Eureka combines the strengths of both of her component magical girls and amplifies them; in addition she combines the abilities of two Alchemic Drivers, allowing her to merge the powers of science and magic into a single, formidable powerset. Mental attacks such as mind control, mind reading and telepathy will not work on Eureka; her two minds work in unison to block out any such assaults.
  • Possessions:
    • Transformation Trinket: Both of the girls possess items that allow them to transform into their respective super forms. Rika's is the iChange, which takes the form of a handheld tablet computer, and Susan's is the Mini-Grimoire, which takes the form of a four inch tall magical tome with a circular indentation in the cover.
    • Alchemic Drivers: Both Rika and Susan have five Alchemic Drivers each, which they insert into their respective transformation trinkets in order to transform. Rika's Alchemic Drivers take the form of USB flash drives which are plugged into her iChange, whilst Susan's take the form of medallions that she inserts into the indentation of the cover of her Mini-Grimoire. Each one of the Alchemic Drivers bestows powers based upon either a scientific field or a school of magic*.
      • Science Alchemic Drivers (used by Rika): Engineering (machinery, as well as modern and sci-fi weaponry), Paleontology (the prehistoric Earth, including dinosaurs, the ice age and the primordeal planet), Zoology (animals), Psychology (analysis and tactical prediction), Archaeology (ancient cultures, including weaponry and combat styles).
      • Magic Alchemic Drivers (used by Susan): Abjuration (protective magic), Conjuration (summoning items or creatures), Evocation (explosions and energy attacks), Illusion (messing with the senses to create, well, illusions), Transmutation (changing the properties of something, in this case either an item the girls are holding or the girls themselves).

  • Name: Nakamura Kiyomi
  • Age: 17
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: "At least it's a nice day, even if I didn't need an umbrella."
  • Clothes, Costumes and Armor: School uniform, anything she might pick up here, no armor whatsoever.
  • Personality: Kiyomi is a determined and strong-willed individual. She has a tendency to look on the more optimistic side of things, and is practically the embodiment of the refusal to give up. She has a somewhat short temper, and a tendency to refuse help in favor of doing things herself. If she believes something is her fault, or her problem, she will attempt to resolve the issue herself and refuse help from others, even to her own detriment. She sometimes has a tendency to jump into things without thinking them through, or make ill-advised decisions. In spite of this, she is highly intelligent. Kiyomi likes hard workers, and is a very confident girl. On top of this, she is sometimes a little too eager to fight. However, she will almost never kill her opponent, though leaving them heavily injured and incapacitated isn't out of the question, as long as they survive. She greatly dislikes people who prey upon others, especially if their victims are unable to defend themselves.
  • Bio: Kiyomi was born into a weakly magical mage family. However, she had an incredibly unique distinction among her relatives: Kiyomi bore the rare affinity of Mana. While this granted her a limitless supply of mana, the affinity was so rare in modern times that few spells remained in use that utilized pure mana, save for some very basic spells. Kiyomi desired more then this. From the moment she was able to do so, she trained, and worked hard to harness her rare affinity. She developed spells based off of various calculations and theorems, after studying for several years to learn the theories related to spell creation by heart. And all her hard work finally paid off. Kiyomi became known throughout the world by magi, who called her "The White Cannon of Japan" for her incredible abilities utilizing her affinity. After facing a wide variety of foes, a magical distortion in reality has led to her winding up here. She knows she'll get back, since she was told about the distortion's nature and that it won't last too long. for now, she's going to check out this tournament.
  • Categories and Affiliations: Mage, high school student, magicannon. No affiliations here, really.
  • Abilities: Kiyomi's spells and magic all relate to her affinity for Pure Mana. Pure Mana as an affinity is so incredibly rare that few advanced spells were developed for it. As such, Kiyomi created her personal list of spells. These include a massive beam of raw mana known as Kiyomi's "White Cannon", due to the color of mana being interpreted by human eyes as pure, pristine white. It is this spell that gave Kiyomi her name among magi around the world. In addition, she is capable of using mana as an unconventional defense, sending a whirling mana current around herself to destroy any attacks(or attackers, if the extremely rare case may be) who come in contact with it. In addition, she has several offensive spells based around delivering simple mana bursts to the enemy to stun or disable them. Kiyomi has an entirely limitless supply of mana. However, her usage of her mana is constrained by her body. Too much use of her mana will cause her to become tired, and further use beyond that will begin causing her body to break down.
  • Possessions: Nothing much here.
  • Other: There's pretty much no consequence to her sudden transportation, the nature of the distortion means she won't be in this world all that long(probably enough to be there for the end of the tournament) and that only an hour will have passed back home when she returns, which means she's not too angry.

I drew from it it would be more like Professional Wrestling, except with 'the promise of winning' in place of a title belt. As in there are mostly fights that have little bearing but the top runners are the ones who advance towards the 'belt' if you catch my drift.

If I'm talking crap, feel free to say so though.

I actually really like this idea of Fantasy Professional Wrestling. Does anyone here actually watch it? I highly recommend it just for the intros, the amount of silliness and melodrama is awesome. Given that we also have titles for all our characters, would it not make sense that some are playing characters?

Considering GRIMDAD is in it to make his son feel like he has a Cool Dad, is anyone interested in playing his Heel?

  • Name: Fluffy - The Fuzzy Fighter and her Furry Fists of Fury
  • Age: Appears to be in her mid teens. Actual age is... significantly higher.
  • Race: Sheepgirl Deity
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: A slightly shorter than average teenager with a petite but toned figure. Fluffy has a pair of sheep ears protruding from her short, blonde hair and grey eyes with a childish naivety to them.
  • Clothes, Costumes and Armor: When fighting, Fluffy wears something akin to a sports top and shorts, along with a pair of fingerless boxing gloves. The key difference being, all of these items are made of fluffy white wool.
  • Personality: Fluffy is daydreaming and ditzy fighter who when she's not in the arena tends to be very lazy and follows her wishes on a whim. On the battlefield though, the sheepgirl finds her energy, becoming bouncy and enthusiastic to fight. All in all, she's a friendly, outgoing person, but if you anger her, she can become as dreadful as any wrath-filled god you can imagine.
  • Profession: Patron Goddess of the Clouds
  • Bio: A weather deity hailing from another realm, Fluffy (her alias, though she's long since forgotten her actual goddess name) stumbled into Aebalon while traveling between worlds. Thinking some fighting could be fun, the sheepgirl and a small group of her worshipers set themselves up in the nexus city, and stuck around as the goddess enjoyed herself battling warriors of all different ranks. In her off time, Fluffy likes spends her Essence Points at Fluff N Stuff Plushie Emporium, handing out the occasional stuffed animal to a worshiper, fan, or little boy or girl.
  • Categories and Affiliations: Weather elemental, physical god, beast person, and plushie enthusiasts. No affiliations at the moment, except for her temple. And possibly plush toy stores.
  • Abilities: Despite appearances, Fluffy is a physical god, with all that entails, having strength, speed, and resilience far surpassing that of mortals. However, she also believes in a fair fight, and scales herself to her opponents according to the Arbiter's will. Regardless of what level she's placed on though, Fluffy is a durable Lightning Bruiser* whose main drawback is preferring to channel her powers in close range attacks. Fluffy has named several of her abilities:
    • Sleepy: As a sheep, Fluffy can sing a lullaby that soothes her opponent to sleep. For balance's sake, she needs to be able to whisper it right into their ear, requiring her to grapple her opponent and keep them in her range.
    • Super Fluffy: Fluffy crosses her arms over her chest and then spreads them out while shouting out the name of this effect to activate it, puffing up the wool of her clothes to completely cover her body, insulating her from physical damage. However, she remains flammable and can't really attack while being a giant puffball.
    • Floaty: Fluffy can fly. Flying sheep girl!
    • Windy: Fluffy can buffet the opponent with winds to push them away or pull them towards her. She prefers using the latter to get them in range of her punches.
    • Icy: Fluffy charges her punches and kicks with the element of ice, capable of freezing upon impact. Has a white aura that exudes magical dissipating snowflakes.
    • Rainy: Fluffy makes it rain directly above herself. She uses it in combination with the above to make it Slippery.
    • Stormy: Channels lightning through her body to deal devastating electrical blows.
    • Angry: Not really an ability per se, but if Fluffy gets upset, her fur changes color from white, to grey, to finally black, marking her increasing intent to fight more seriously and aggressively. Her head also begins to protrude ram's horns until they fully spiral around the sides of her head.
  • Possessions: A small shrine that doubles as her home, and a loooooot of plush toys.
  • Other: Float like a snowflake, sting like lightning!
