Fits way better on Expospeak Gag (goodness, this means there was likely a time when that image was on three pages).
There are a number of webcomic examples; one of them may work for an image if something else isn't found .
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Agree it's better on Expospeak Gag.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanActually, the image was added August '12; both Expospeak Gag and MacGyvering got their new images in Jul '12, roughly a month earlier. This image was only ever on two pages at once, fortunately.
Moon◊+1 to leave it on Expospeak Gag.

So she uses some kind of liquid to clean a window? I don't see how that's the trope.
Check out my fanfiction! If it is not obvs from the pic than it is a bad pic I guess, but she is using club soda to dissolve a forcefield.

Absolutely no idea how it relates to the trope. It only shows the name of the trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThere's no way to tell that's a forcefield.
Alexander cutting the gordian knot is probably the most famous example of this trope and is older than feudalism.
Problem is, I can't find a good picture. Stupid classical art.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.We already have Cutting the Knot (though not with a picture of the knot), so I worry about the overlap.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. The version on this page looks better than the copy on Expospeak Gag.
I must be cruel, but to be kind That bad may begin, and worse be left behindKinda disagree with that, honestly... I like using the entire frame for full context. Won't deny this version has larger text, but seemed plenty legible on Expospeak Gag, too.
Moon◊How many missile launchers◊ could you buy for the cost of one Mobile Suit? A lot more than it would take to destroy one.
The right half of this might work if the text in the top panel is legible for everyone.
Well, if it doesn't have to resize down much, it might be legible; if it does, though, that small text is gonna turn unintelligible real quick.
Moon◊Clock is set.
I'm good at reading small print and even I think this is a bit ridiculous.◊
But if we do it like this, it might work.◊

I like the second one.
Alright, the clock's up and we need to move on this since it's a duplicate. I made a crop of the second take on the webcomic and put it on the page with a basic caption linking to the full comic. Locking up.
Shares the same comic strip as Expospeak Gag, just with one magnified more than the other.
