I saw that in a post by Movie Bob on his blog. Goodness, that was amusingly bad.
Agreed that they both don't look all that good. Hong Kong Phooey in particularly looks like it's trying too hard in some places and really not trying hard enough in others. Also, it looks like they're making similar mistakes as the Underdog movie.
The Marvin The Martian one has the best line, though:
"Man, Time Warner is really slipping these days..."

Someone who thought "Hey! Jive talking raspy voiced black guy? Let's get Eddie Murphy!"
So, possibly the same kind of idiot who thought John Goodman was a good replacement for Phil Harris.
This is painful. This is something the early 1990s straight-to-home video market would have produced - and it would have sucked then, too. Who made this? Did they get fired?
At least Marvin's voice was spot on. That was the only acceptable thing here.

And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)Ugh, I've never been a huge fan of HKP, but this was just... ugh.
Marvin was slightly better, though that's like saying Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen was slightly better than Dragonball Evolution (Hint, it is in some ways).
Y'know, I'm glad these aren't being made, but after watching some of the old Hong Kong Phooey episodes, I wonder...
Is it just me, or would Tina Fey be perfect for Rosemary? If she could've done the accent, that is.

My wife and I watched Howard the Duck this weekend out of a vaguely misplaced sense of nostalgia. It occurs to me that it could be the next big remake to try to pull in prior generations.
