It seems like that fluid that got injected into her isolates her nervous system from the rest of her body and acts as some kind of life-support. That may explain why there's so little blood, the fluid acts like some kind of embalmer for the rest of the body. Either that or she's not human. Now I'm really intrigued as to what this machine does. Intrigued and horrified
On another note, anyone recognize the music in the background?
The world's gone mad, oh yes it's true But I care not, for I'm mad too!By the way, the cast page lists Prudith's full name and mentions she's dead. Is there a word of god thing I'm missing, cause I never remembered her being named in comic, and while horrifying, the machine doesn't seem to be doing anything it shouldn't be right now, so she's probably alive-ish

I feel that music makes the scene more horrid, having such soothing music playing while lasers cut off your everything.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersHmm, sources ...
The name seems to come from assuming that she's the girl from Gil's follower entrance exam
. She certainly looks quite similar, and her attitude is also similar.
Michelle (the author) said that the liquid in the syringe was a combination sedative and blood coagulant
.
Also, when someone asked about whether Strategos Six's armor was removable armor, or part of their body, Michelle responded with "You'll see soon"
.
I'm not finding anything that would confirm that Prudith is dead. To me it looks like she's alive, and the machine will shortly transplant her nervous system into a shiny new (artificial) immortal body. This would also explain why all of the "converted" Titan soldiers are gender-neutral (mentioned here
).
It may be that the lenses are meant to protect their eyes and allow for all that interfacy thing that the soldiers have which allows them to identify Gil. Also, is she supposed to be bleeding from the forehead like that? Or is something going wrong because the machine was expecting to work on Ava, not Prudith?

Cleanest depiction of someone getting their face cut off I've ever seen, mind you. No blood at all.
