Tiffany Grant is married with Matt Greenfield, one of the founders of ADV and Sentai Filmworks(and the voice of Makoto Hyuga in Evangelion TV series.)for ten years now.Funimation is suing both companies and the others that were formed from ADV's fallout some years ago. Chris Patton is standing up for ADV/Sentai and hasn't done works for Funimation and has only been in Sentai dubs since then.If a guy who has nothing to do with this is taking this stance(probably because he has friends on ADV/Sentai and he started his voice-acting career with them like most of the V As from Texas in the 90's),how about the wife of one of the guys being sued by Funi?

She's married to Matt Greenfield...and he was one of the founders of ADV, which Funi sued a while back for god knows what...
I suddenly realize why he hasn't directed at Sentai since Infinite Stratos now.
But that's beside the point. What's that thing Crispin Freeman says..."Do actors accept work? Yes. Am I an actor? Yes."

The stuff I have to search on ANN to find this info...
Again, REALLY don't want to remember this so let's drop it.

Thank you for the link! Sounds like a headache. Sorry for bringing it up.
I'm glad for the Evangelion update. Hopefully, other speculations will be jossed or confirmed at the Anime Expo next month.
Is it confirmed that Hetalia: The Beautiful World is getting a dub, or is that just the common assumption held by fans?
They haven't officially announced it, but it's a REALLY safe assumption they will as Axis Powers (seasons 1 and 2) is going in the Anime Classics collection soon and the season has an official English logo.
And IIRC, it was reportedly because of the overwhelmingly positive reception the series got at Otakon that we even got this season.

Hm, why do I think this is deja vu? *checks the topic to find out that HE BROUGHT UP THIS EXACT TOPIC BEFORE WHEN I BROUGHT UP THE SAME THING THE FIRST TIME* X_X
Well, I'll copy-paste my answer so you'll get it...
It's pretty much shorthand for "these titles sold well, so they're not going out of print anytime soon".
Yeah, whatever. Bandai did the same thing when they released their series as complete sets as opposed to individual dvds. Look at Gundam, Gurren Lagann, Mai Hime and so on.
Funimation already has their S.A.V.E. thing, so why not use another word that has a certain cultural meaning to imply that the series is popular and loved?
And the way the anime world works, if a show manages to stay popular for four years or more, it really is a classic.
EDIT: I think they even did it with K-On
