Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages

Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

Zashiki-warashi was Hollered for plagiarism from Wikipedia. What's the deal with that one? I suggest cutting, as it doesn't seem to have gone through YKTTW and is another of those shoehorned Japanese trope titles.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Worklist:
- The Beast: By ~Premonition45 needs some reverse crosswicking still.
- Hans And Hime: Stubby work page; creator messaged.
- Nuzlocke After Armageddon: Stub article by ~Pouncivalfan1321; I'll call them here.
- Stay The Fanfic: Needs still some work done.
- Zashiki-warashi: That trope has a Japanese name because it's a type of Japanese supernatural creature. It can't be named differently. It's also a plagiate, yes, and it was a stub when it was created so it came up here in this thread. I favour cutting and asking the creator to run it through YKTTW - as well as pushing on the page creation overhaul.
Today's one day late worklist:
- Bolts & Blip: Stubby work page; creator messaged.
- EverythingGaiden v2 and EverythingGaiden v2: Test pages; I am not sure if ~Twi Delta is still working on them.
- Mega G Wolf: Stubby work page; it's not indexed either.
- Pixel Piracy: That page has some formatting, grammar and Zero-Context Example problems. Never mind the lack of proper indexing or crosswicking. I'll call ~richeygator here.
- The Powerpuff Girls: Stubby work page; creator messaged.
OK, I've received no input on the past few pages. Let's hope that this worklist gets more input:
- Big Bad Family Friend: Stub trope that isn't on an index and has no examples or crosswicking, by ~guardianemessiah.
- Chill Factor: A stubby work page; creator has been messaged.
- Monster Island Buddies: Exampleless trope; creator messaged.
- Of Breakable Things: A stub work page; creator has been messaged.
- Penderwicks: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Tammin Sursok: A stubby work page that is not on an index by ~My Train Is Off.
- A World Without Superheroes: A Stub work page; creator has been messaged.
Also, from my issue messaging it seems to me that a lot of people think that "Indexing" means "turn something into an index"; I've added a sentence about it on How Indexing Works, hopefully that helps.

My question is, do youkai need individual pages?
We've also got an Umbrella Ghost
page in YKTTW. I don't really see the need for pages on individual youkai, especially since the examples are largely just "this appears in this work."
Also, I know there's no such thing as notability but... surely we should have some sort of requirements for qualifying for an SD page: SelfDemonstrating.Charizard.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.... okay, your post and your avatar match way too damn well. That's hilarious.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.On the Yōkai: While I can see Youkai-specific pages, I am worried about it encouraging ZCE examples because of people believing that the more specific names substitute for context. Also, the page under discussion here is plagiarized so it can be cut either way.
Anyhoo, today's worklist:
- SelfDemonstrating.Charizard: We don't have a standard for Just for Fun pages; only if they fall extremely flat you can consider cutlisting them.
- Egyptian Mythology: By ~Knight Of NASA, that page's namespace is in disagreement with its content (it's formatted like a work page). We don't have a namespace for that kind of page yet, though.
- Lead Drummer: Common problem, but Music/ is not a namespace for genres and it lacks a YKTTW besides. By ~cyhh2002.
- Zombiism And Other Lies: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Two more articles:
- Chekhovs Nerf Gun: A stub trope. ~radicaladz87 is the creator.
- TMNT: 2nd Ren: I've moved it there from NamespaceGoesThere.TMN T2nd Ren, but it needs serious work done.
Today's worklist is up:
- The Battery: Created by ~shibata33 it needs some formatting cleanup, as well as Crosswicking, indexing and Zero-Context Example cleaning.
- Dragon Slippers: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Characters.Dungeons And Randomness: Someone ought to help ~fanozelda9 with the formatting there; folders need to be closed, and the page could use both indexing and examples.
- Neil Diamond: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The World of Jonathan Singh: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Today's worklist is up. Some items are older:
- Adeptus Evangelion The Tower Of Babel: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- ASOIAFNG: That is certainly in the wrong namespace, and the site
makes me think that the title is wrong as well - I'll call ~JBO in.
- Big Bad Family Friend: Stub trope, hasn't improved.
- Crowning Moment Of Heartbreaking: A stub trope from a deprecated snowclone family, by ~dewy60.
- Riseofthe Roman Empireof Chaos: Stubby work page; creator messaged.
- Characters.TMN T2nd Ren: A stubby article that needs indexing, by ~Wild Cat 7812.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCrowning Moment Of Heartbreaking is basically described on the page as Tear Jerker But More!. As such, it is useless and needs to be cut. The formatting is also horrible. Point the page creator to The Same, but More, Creating New Pages, YKTTW Guidelines and Text Formatting Rules.

@1678,1679,1680,1683 (yes, I know some of those are my own posts): Non Archenemy Series Finale was put on the cutlist about two weeks ago, but the cutlist itself has been accumulating quite a backlog (I assume the people in charge of it are having their time consumed by that, what's it called, "life" lark people keep telling me about - must try it myself sometime, or so everyone tells me), so it hasn't been cut - and the troper who made the apparently unilateral decision to launch it is still tweaking it. A PM would seem to be in order, but should the subject be "Please come to YKTTW Crash Rescue to argue for the page's survival" or "The page has been voted cut, please don't make further edits"?
(I have removed the one wick to the page, on Villains, with an edit note saying that this thread voted to cut it and that appeals should be directed here. There are no inbounds at present.)
~mlsmithca: When people keep editing cutlisted pages, you may want to ask for a Permanent Red Link Club membership here
.
As for the Cut List, I've seen that some cut requests were processed a few days ago but only a minority. I am guessing - just guessing - that the backlog has become too long to be effectively processed.
Anyhow, worklist:
- Chekhovs Nerf Gun: Still an exampleless stub trope.
- Crimson Camellia: Stub work page; creator messaged and somehow I feel it's not their first stub.
- Crowning Moment Of Heartbreaking: Another copy of the Crowning Moment Of Heartbreaking page which was turned into a soft redirect along the way.
- Hyper Dragon Ball Z: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- TMNT: 2nd Ren: I'll do some work on it.
~Madrugada: Huh. What kind of change?
Curiosity question aside, today's worklist:
- Baby Boom: Stubby work page; creator messaged.
- Cartoon Network Super Secret Crisis War: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Narrows: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Spellbound Fireflies: Made by ~Infinity Ranger, it needs indexing, Crosswick and the Example Indentation fixed.
I created Laughably Easy Achievement, I'm not attached to the name. Was just tying to give it something saucy. So this is the smoky back room where all is decided, eh? Good to know. Appreciate the various PM's helping me out with some of the nuances of cross wicking and all that.

Be dangerous...and unpredictable. And make a lot of noise!@1720: That would explain the ever growing cutlist backlog. I presume life matters absorbing the time of the people who would be involved in resolving the problem are still a factor just the same, although I share Septimus' curiosity as to how the cutlist decision process was changed. (But perhaps that's need-to-know information, and non-mods don't need to know.)
OK, sorry for the absence yesterday; I had a somewhat difficult day.
Also, mlsmithca, based on a PM conversation I had it seems they changed the Cut List so that everything could be processed in just one hit and only that way. Which created problems when a cut master wasn't sure about a particular page. Also, I've heard that they expanded the cut approve/deny ability to all moderators but one of them disagreed in the Edit Requests thread so I am not certain on that.
Anyhow, worklist for today is up. Today's main theme are stub tropes:
- Amnesiac: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Apes In Diapers: Poorly written trope with few examples, no indexing and no YKTTW by ~Texas Kingofthe Geeks.
- Big Bad Family Friend: Stub trope.
- Chekhovs Nerf Gun: Stub trope again.
- Crowning Moment Of Heartbreaking: Needs still some more commentary.
- Laughably Easy Achievement: I see that this wasn't renamed - I might go ahead and do it today.
- Lightning Dust: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Murdering A Blackmailer Doesnt Count: A stub trope by ~The Music God 1 - I think they aren't familiar with YKTTW.
...Murdering a Blackmailer Doesn't Count. This sounds like it would go under a trope where it's fine for a good guy to kill someone as long as they're a bad guy. And I find it really hard to believe that's never been brought up on the site.
One of Sherlock Holmes' stories was where he and Watson witnessed a woman shoot a blackmailer. (Holmes hates blackmailers.) Though Holmes eventually realizes who the lady is, he only tells Watson, and they both keep silence.
Crowning Moment Of Heartbreaking: Ditch it. Tearjerker already covers it.

Primarily the Page Types Change tool, and that one resets every new month, "polluting" the list. Also, it takes forever to load.
