Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

Guma: I wanted to hear the Troper's explanation. Also, please dial back the confrontational tone.
Like I said:
Ghoul: A word of advice; if you rogue-launched a page deliberately, you are better off telling the truth. The Mods do not appreciate having smoke blown up their nostrils.
Consider the following:
When I rogue-launched a trope I liked the look of in April 2019 (having not paid attention to the guidelines, which said, to paraphrase, "don't launch a page which you have not sponsored, especially if you have not even contributed to the draft"), in my suspension appeal, I stated why I suspected I may have been suspended, and admitted to having not paid sufficient attention to the guidelines.
The Mod who handled my case candidly stated that it's common courtesy not to launch drafts while other people are still working on them.
My appeal was successful, and I have had a generally productive career as a troper since.
I have known of several others—some of whom I have personally pinged to this thread in the wake of a rogue launch—who have claimed in their suspension appeals to have accidentally rogue-launched a trope; this is a story that, as Guma explains, other tropers (including Mods) find unlikely, since launching is a two step process. Accordingly, it seems most people who make such questionable claims in their suspension appeals do not keep their TLP privileges.

Rawr.Legacy Seeker has just been rogue launched. As is extraordinary typical for rogue launches, it hasn't been indexed with anything.
Reported it and added a banner saying it was Rogue Launched.
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Amalgamated Individual was quietly launched so I thought I'd get some thoughts.
Not stealth launched; OP did put in a "launch soon" announcement in the title yesterday so if people think that's fine, I'm totally on board. I just think the name is really vague and even though I had seen and started to write up an example for it, I genuinely had no idea what the trope was when I saw it on the Discussion page.
Frankly, this is more my fault for not paying more attention to TLP but I do want to bring it up. Pinging ~Chabal 2 for transparency's sake.
EDIT: Turns out I'm not sure how to ping other users. Tried in my next post but I hope it worked. Would be a good thing to include in "Show Markup Help."

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The trope is multiple deeds (heroic or villainous) are believed to have been committed by a single person. Usually this is done by combining a trait shared by the criminals, i.e. thousands of crimes reported as committed by a black man becomes "black man singlehandedly commits thousands of crimes".
From Wikipedia: "Amalgamation is the process of combining or uniting multiple entities into one form."

A Diligent Index got rogue launched by ~Tropefully 28.
That's like the second time that index got rogue launched.
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."It’s also listed as a trope and not an index, and has a redlink.
It got stealthed last time, I think, by the actual sponsor, and then just sort of sat around in TLP until it just got rogue launched out of nowhere.
/sigh.
~Tropefully 28. Do know that launching someone else's draft without their permission no matter the number of hats is not appreciated. See the TLP Guidelines in regards of rogue launching.
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Oh sorry, I just saw the Launch Button and thought the index looked ready. Why is the button present if it’s not welcome for the people who didn’t make the page to launch it?
See Up for Grabs. The draft creator isn't the only one with launch privileges because then all of the abandoned drafts would be SOL.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI’m still somewhat confused, I guess I’ll just have to read up on it more. But once again, I apologize for any terrible I caused.
Speaking of rogue-launching indexes, I’m curious on how one properly sets a draft as an index before launching. I’ve tried doing it before, but had no luck. Can it also be done on mobile?
The one job in the world that's harder than a brain surgeon is Joe Biden's sign language interpreter. You can't do it before launch. You change the page type after launch.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI dont know if im even allowed to post here, but i have a question.
Why does it seem like more and more things are getting Rouge launched?
It seems over the past few weeks every other trope on the new trope page has the words "this page has been rouge launched" in the header.
Cornelius, but do not waste in useless pity the few moments left in which to escape from the hands of the enemy.-Shrug-
There's no specific reason we can point to. People are just wandering onto the TLP more and clicking launch more.
Or, maybe Rogue Launches just weren't taken as seriously back in the day and didn't get reported as much?
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIs there an influx of new tropers, or new attention drawn to the TLP?
Maybe it's Mercury being in retrograde?
Funny enough, the TLP community had some infamous issues in early October of last year... maybe this time of year is cursed for us.
You sure it wasn't the first week of October? That's what I remember since I was in the mass ban and had to wait out the weekend.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.September of last year, you mean?
ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔I've unlaunched that again.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The Wrong Way on the Escalator was stealth launched. Doesn't look too bad but worth discussing. ~Sahaib3005
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I was going to mention that! There are only two Phineas and Ferb examples on there despite the fact that mightymewtron mentioned one from the Hawaiian vacation episode that wasn’t added. The owner also neglected to add some other examples, such as the real-life stepmills from gyms.
I think that one way to prevent stealth-launching would be to have the draft be unable to be launched unless there is a button timer, which would activate the ability to launch in 24 hours. The drafts should also require a total to 10 votes in addition to five hats to make sure enough people give consensus to launch the draft.
The one job in the world that's harder than a brain surgeon is Joe Biden's sign language interpreter.
You’d need to deliberately click the “Launch” button twice. What did you think it did?
