Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages
. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

I just felt the need to thank this topic. If it weren't for this, I probably wouldn't have watched Man of Tai Chi, or at least wouldn't have for a very long time. Having seen it, it's quite the fun movie.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Good for you, although you ought to crosswick new examples there.
Today, a new batch of work:
- Amy Sally And Mina: Seems like I'll have to work on this alone.
- The Battle Of Hogwarts: Exampleless work page - creator messaged.
- Battle Of Hogwarts Documentary: Exampleless work page - apparently not the same work as the one mentioned above. Creator messaged.
- Empathic Clothing: Only one example, and no YKTTW that I can see.
- The Marauders Worst Memory: Same as the other Harry Potter fanvids.
- The Potter Prophecy: Same as the other Harry Potter fanvids.
- Sirius Black And The Secret Keeper Fanfilm: Same as the other Harry Potter fanvids.
Empathic Clothing: Definitely a possible trope. Needs a boot to YKTTW to pick up a better description and more examples.
That's if it's not already covered under another name(s). It might well be. Or it might be a type of supertrope.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettCool Scars: Doesn't seem to have gone through YKTTW. Exactly three of the works on the page are linked to their works pages, the description is a mess, and it doesn't seem tropeable as the trope seems to be "these people have scars." They run the gamut from scars marking them as a badass, the scar being a mark of shame, to just a regular scar on someone's leg. Hell, some of them aren't even scars, but are about people who have gotten cuts that may eventually become a scar.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Terrible Vocaloid Shit: It seems to have picked up the bare minimum of examples since you mentioned it, so it just squeaks past.
Emphatic Clothing: Also agree with Candi.
Cool Scars: Agree that it just seems to be "people have scars". Vote for cutting.
I agree on Empathic Clothing, although I have to ask who is going to put that into YKTTW. Cut and ask the editor to bring it through YKTTW seems the only technique.
Cool Scars: Cutlist.
Another stub article: Max Wolf Revolutions. Creator has been messaged.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanToday's work pile has only one work so far:
- Amy Sally And Mina: Given that input is not forthcoming, I'll have to do something with it this evening on my own.
We cover fan works, but taking out the parts that are simply not true (the description calling it a series on Cartoon Network) and the ZC Es, there's nothing there. I say we cut. If the original author cares enough, they'll remake it in the correct namespace.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"We actually do pages for non-existing works sometimes (see Inspector Spacetime for example), although it would be nice to have some elaboration.
Otherwise, other work to do:
- Hiver's Here Be Dragons: Only one example, and the editor (Gentlemens Dame 883) sounds very familiar to me in that regard.
- Mischief Series: 'nother exampleless work page; messaged the creator.
Also, Cool Scars and Empathic Clothing can use more input.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanInspector Spacetime should be moved to Just for Fun, it shouldn't be in Main whether it's real or not.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I think that will need some discussion elsewhere - not only because we aren't consistent about how we namespace these pages yet (so these other pages would have to be moved accordingly), but also because I have two reservations about using JustForFun/ as a namespace for these.
Back to the other pages:
- Amy Sally And Mina: I'll see if I can come up with a rewrite based upon the links in the discussion page.
- Hiver's Here Be Dragons: Yeah, I've messaged them already. I'll wait until tomorrow before messaging them again.
- Tricorne: Exampleless page; I've messaged the creator.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSo, today's batch of work:
- Amy Sally And Mina: Rewrite will be up this evening at the latest.
- Bobby Dollar: Exampleless work page again; creator messaged.
- JENSAARAI 1: Work page with no indexing, crosswicking and some bad spelling. I've moved it to the right namespace and indexed it, but it needs more cleaning.
- Nobunaga the Fool: Shinn Bidan moved a better version in. I'll message them about crosswicking and ZCE, but otherwise the page's good now.
- World of Warplanes: Enough examples, but no description, indexing or crosswicking; messaging the creator.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSorry for not working on the Amy Sally And Mina; I spent a good part of the evening sock-hunting.
Anyhow, today's workload:
- Cool Scars: This sounds like a case for TRS, to be honest. At any rate, all the examples are vague.
- Criss Angel BeLIEve: Work page with only two examples; creator messaged.
- Empathic Clothing: If no one else works on this, I'll cutlist it and tell the creator to retry in YKTTW.
- Forte Kham 617: Namespace issues aside, the example list looks fairly problematic (read: self-contradicting, insufficient context and bad Example Indentation).
- The Hunger Games: Catching Fire: Good page, needs some crosswicking though.
Hey guys, I recently discovered the trope Alternate Tooniverse, which appears to be exactly the same as Toon Town. Should they be merged?
I am still waiting for more comments on Empathic Clothing, Amy Sally And Mina and Cool Scars.
On Alternate Tooniverse: Toon Town seems like the same thing as Alternate Tooniverse type I.
Other work for today:
- Escape Goat: Exampleless work page; creator messaged.
- Namco High: Exampleless work page; creator messaged.
- No Place For A Juvenile: A somewhat shoddily created trope, prematurely split as well.
- The Somewhat Cracked Mind of Uchiha Itachi: Some example quality problems; creator messaged.
Alternate Tooniverse has been around since at least 2011. Toon Town has been around at least since 2010. Given the age of the articles, and given that neither is a stub, I think they should be sent to TRS, not dealt with summarily by this thread.

Amy Sally And Mina: As there seems to be no evidence that the work exists, either as an standalone work as a work within a work, I say it should be cut, considering it claims to have aired on Cartoon Network.
Toon Town/Alternate Tooniverse: I agree with Catbert that that one seems more like TRS territory.
No Place For A Juvenile: I vote to cut the page and subpages, and if the creator wants to take it through YKTTW, they can. The description is barely coherent (I think it's intended as a supertrope for works where children/teens are treated with hostility, but the subtropes don't exactly line up with that and the examples are all over the place) and there is absolutely no reason for it to have a bunch of subpages with a single example each (or no examples). Not to mention that a lot of those examples are zero context.
Ok, going through the replies...
- Alternate Tooniverse: Yeah, I think I (or otherwise, someone else) will have to take that to TRS.
- Amy Sally And Mina: The problem is that it does actually seem to exist
- but in completely different format.
- No Place For A Juvenile: Yeah, I agree with that, and I'll call that editor in.
Two other stubs: Mister And Missus and UCGO. I've messaged both editors.
