TLP Crash Rescue - Fixing prematurely launched TLPs and pages

Gonna give ~Tropegod a ping so they can see that they've been causing some issues.

My proposed trope Can Always Spot A Cop was rogue launched by Tropegod. I wasn’t ready to launch it and he never contributed to the page or discussion. I’m more than a little annoyed. How do I have it unlaunched and report him?

Click the three dots on your forum post there and click "Holler This" to alert the mods about the situation and bring them here. I already hollered them about your trope and the two others that Tropegod launched.

Unlaunched all three of them and suspended Tropegod. I'm beginning to think that any account with "trope" in the handle should be suspended preemptively.

I don’t know how to edit I was experimenting with this program to contribute so what’s the issue?

Plus (a) expecting a response when you're posting in the middle of the night (going by time stamps) and (b) not going back a page/ few posts to see what people were talking about.

"A" could just be a matter of time zones, but for "B", even accounting for my ping as a page topper there's no real excuse not to at go back at least one page.

Eh, time zones can differ, but posting back-to-back after less than twenty seconds of no response at the very least demonstrates a misunderstanding of forum posts. Coming to the thread was a good effort though, even if it was way too late.

So the TLP is still bomb-excessive on these two drafts. Any chance we can nuke 'em early?

I almost want to pitch that a bomb limit that rises with the amount of hats there are; like if there's no hats, you can only have five-ten bombs on the draft, and the more hats there are the more bombs you can have. Otherwise we end up with drafts like these, where there's no point to keep bombing them but people do it anyway.

I was considering bringing those drafts up somewhere but didn't know where. I'm almost considering making an "please nuke early" thread to alert mods when drafts are an obvious no-go, but that would probably attract unwanted attention.

Personally, I think a "please nuke early" thread is a good idea.

I think it looks like a good idea on paper, but with how overworked the moderators are right now, I think it will turn out to be disappointingly ineffective, unless the dev team implements engineer positions or if more moderators are recruited.

I can also see it being misused for the wrong sort of drafts.

Did Cool Armored Dinosaur just get rogue launched? I don't remember seeing any warnings about it going out imminently. Maybe it's ready, though last I heard, they were struggling with the trope title. Just asking.

Stealth launched trope Cool Armored Dinosaur is still out there and active. Maybe the trope is fine left up, but just asking again.

Self Therapy was launched with enough hats and by its sponsor, but they made zero comments on the draft ever? I'm legit not sure if that's okay or what.
