Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages
. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

I'm also not enthused about its page image. Wild guess, is it also the trope namer?
Suddenly I'm... still rotating Fallen London in my mind even though I've stopped actively playing it.Human Jack-O-Lantern was rogue launched as soon as it hit three days
.
Multiple tropers expressed confusion about it being confused with Pumpkin Person, but that's neither here nor there since it was rogue launched by a rando. Please unlaunch.
Yeah. I get the trope, but it's asking for misuse with that name.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.So why is Ghastly Ghost a trope? Aren't ghost being scary/malicious the default, and thus the "twisted" portrayals (Friendly Ghost, Silly Spook etc) are tropes?
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza
No Trope Is Too Common. As long as it has some sort of meaning, a trope can be as omnipresent as it wants.

The "Default"="Chairs" situation only applies if the default matches reality, making the trope Like Reality, Unless Noted if it has no other meaning.
This however is absolutely a trope, a very common one but still a trope.
TBH my biggest gripe with it is that a lot of the in-comments examples weren't added.

I might be a bit biased since my example specifically was overlooked for no reason, but I added it myself to the finished product.
Anyway, what are we doing with Dressed In Element?

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI remembered having problems with The Voice of a Generation and it seems that the trope still has them now.
First off, the draft maker seems a bit too attached to the title that the examples aren't exactly voices of a "generation". How about calling it "Unofficial Spokesperson"?
Then I don't know how the examples actually fit. Some of them actively intends to speak for a group, some others have other people deeming the character as some group's "spokesperson".

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaOld People Love Bingo Soon To Change was rogue launched without even removing the sponsor note in the title.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallRogue Launcher was Soul Sabre 117, who doesn't appear to have posted in the draft at all.
For a little while I remember Fighteer was asking people in Edit-Banned why they were doign that. Did we ever get a conclusive answer?
Besides people apparently lacking any sense of etiquette and wanting to contribute without reading the rules? Not really.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallOne person saw the message that says "Enough Tropers and Wiki-Magic have deemed this YKTTW ready to Launch as a Trope." and thought launching would be a good idea (and that's pretty understandable), and another person thought something like "Wait, what? Why is the button visible to me if I haven't contributed to the draft? I wonder what will happen if I click it."
FWIW Sabre's only other TLP "contribution" thus far is this
nuked stub draft. They...don't fully seem to grasp how the TLP works.
Pinging people here might be fine, but since they usually end up banned anyway over it there's not much we can say or do that the mods can't do in Edit Banned.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallAnyway, besides Spring Break Plot
still needing a hold placed, I'm requesting a hold on The Good Unfavorite
. Despite the overwhelming number of hats, most of the draft posters agree that the draft is not ready to launch if it's even tropeworthy at all. We need to curb a potential stealth/rogue launch so we can hammer out the actual trope and get it ready to go, or discarded for a fresh start.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallThe Rogue Launcher here was also ~Soul Sabre 117. I'll go ahead and ping them this time before a third launch happens.
It's...the same trope that was mentioned earlier. They only rogue launched one trope.

I had concerns over the meaning of the trope since it seemed any character who gave makeovers was this trope. Nobody else seemed to agree though.
