Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages

Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

there's a whole thread about how the word itself with no other descriptors creates ZCE magnets for anyone that does anything slightly above average on even one occasion. Its similar thinking taht got Moment Of Awesome etc moved to sugar wiki.
Something like The Resourceful One could outline if its a role on the team or group dynamics.
Known For Being Resourceful or The Ultra Resourceful if its an individual character trait, that others take notice of or rely on, like Crazy-Prepared.
Resourceful Reversal if its more about a situation being overturned, rather than a trait of the character doing it.
Badass Resourceful means that a character uses resources to do...something that a least one troper thought was notable. And instantly it gets so much broader.
While maybe not the correct place to ask this, it's the closest one I know of and it may result in not ending up here later:
I've got two drafts I've been working on off-and-on and am looking to Launch (Incapable Of Disobeying
and Better Off With The Bad Guys
). I've added "Looking to Launch" to their descriptions because, well, I'm looking to launch. I also made sure to outline on the top what still-standing issues I think the tropes have going by past discussions and recent additions.
While it hasn't yet been a full day, plus I'm a bit lazy about these so I may end up forgetting for a while regardless, but even so the only real responses were a couple more examples for "Better Off".
My question is, assuming there's no response after a certain amount of time after my declaration of intent to launch, can I assume I'm okay to go ahead? If I outlined exactly where I think issues remain and no one responds, are they all right as-is?
Try asking the TLP Workstation thread
for help. Apart from that, I'd advise that resounding silence is most certainly not the same thing as cries of Just Launch It Already!.
I don't think The Executioner's examples section need to be split into subtypes. That is, the listing can be made similar to the other trope pages, with each example mentioning which subtype it could be.
Heck, I wanted to add an example that fits none of those types (the guy here is a pacifist who really values life and wishes that whoever was sentenced was done out of fair judgment).

But where would we draw the "stop"?
I'm saying that an executioner's characteristics aren't just limited to what the page lists. The page should do away with the subtypes and just say - without listing them exhaustively - what their possible characteristics could be.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaI believe the subtypes were an attempt to try and make it not PSOC.
Because at its base, "this character is an executioner" is a (very specific) PSOC. So the subtypes are there to give actual meanings and turn it into essentially a collection of executioner-related subtropes.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yeah, it could have been a bunch of other executioner tropes, though honestly that would have looked weird to have someone make a bunch of related drafts all at once.
Don't we have a clean up project dedicated to tropes regarding jobs? I feel like this should be sent back and possibly put on hold until it is made into a specific trope that wouldn't add to the problem.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyRight, the reason the "types" were added was because initially the idea was just "character is an executioner". This was the compromise. I think the idea was that if the sections got big enough, they could be split from the main page.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallSiblings Share the Throne has been launched, but I find Ruling Siblings far more concise and flexible. Thoughts?
- Ruling Siblings is fine by me.
Siblings Share the Throne is fine with me. Did no one suggest another name in TLP? Was it launched too soon with unresolved issues?
Some work pages needing attention for being stubs. Several video games:
Tropers who launched the pages have been sent a PM (the predefined one). All of them seem to be active editors (four of them were launched by the same editor, though).
Ninjala did have some tropes listed, but they were removed as speculation or misuse. I'm not familiar with it at all, but I checked the editing history of the article.

At the very least, the first episode of the Ninjala mini series is available, so none of those examples are speculation. In a week, there will be a playable demo, so I can properly cite the game examples when that comes too.
My musician pageI think one person may have suggested a rename for Siblings Share the Throne while nobody else had issues with it, so I think we're fine.

re Ninjala: If the examples are accurate, they can of course be put back, but hopefully with some discussion and consensus. Restoring them without any discussion now would look like straight edit war. From the commented-out note, I infer this was discussed in the cleanup thread for unreleased works. If the work is now available at least in some form... then it's okay.
Well, there’s no discussion of Ninjala in the upcoming works thread, at least within the applicable timeframe, and the first webisode was released on March 30, yet all the commenting-out was done on April 14, so at least the mini-series section being commented out is kind of fishy, if you ask me.

At its most basic, people do know that badass means "cool (adjective)" or "people who do cool things (noun)". Of course, that in itself isn't a trope, but the word does have consistent weight, no matter what form it may take.
So I repeat, the word itself isn't a problem.
