Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages
. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

I mean... yeah, I usually keep the indices list at the bottom of the page for a few minutes, but keeping the UFG note seems counterintuitive if you have no purpose for it.
Pretty please unlaunch The X World Of Y. The troper didn't claim the draft for themselves and didn't announce they would plan to launch it.
I've been sorta maintaining the draft and the consensus leaned heavily towards discarding the draft and posting the content on The Joy of X.

I was redirected here for my issue about the trope I launched called Mistaken Species Adoption after days that I posted
on the Trope Repair Shop about its possible similarity with Mistaken for Dog. I want it back on the TLP to figure out if it deserves to be a separate trope or not.

I apologize, I just launched Over-the-Top Roller Coaster, but I did not notice that the title was not a perfect camel case, so I want to ask if it could be unlaunched to fix that problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Singing Telegram was Rogue Launched.
Edit: This person, Jonesangelo 369, is just on a rogue-launching spree, it seems. They also launched De Facto Leader.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallBack to the Early Installment was launched by someone that never participated in the discussion of the draft.
All three have been unlaunched and pinging the perpetrators ~Jonesangelo369 and ~ChromaNebula.
Per this Trope Talk thread
on Our Nymphs Are Prettier, the trope should be unlaunched and renamed.
Changing the "Are Different" part of the snowclone has caused problems (such as Our Elves Are Better, which I've argued should see the repair shop), and the Nymphs draft was titled Our Nymphs Are Different and was only changed to Prettier by the sponsor without input minutes before launching.

They relaunched Back to the Early Installment. Is this an edit war? Okay, it wasn't Chroma again, but still.

OP of that thread, was just about to bring this up here (I posted this on Trope Talk chiefly due to inexperience on my part — I'm aware now that this should have been brought up here to begin with).
The renaming of Our Gods Are Greater to Our Gods Are Different brings some precedent for this, and I do agree that Our Elves Are Better has had issues with its name. The use of alternatives to "Different" tends to result in examples that focus on facets of the trope's stated description, or sometimes on entirely tangential matters (Our Gods Are Greater apparently resulted in people mistaking it for what's essentially Divine Conflict or for religious rivalry, and Our Elves Are Better tends to get examples focusing only on whether elves are portrayed as being "better" than other races).
Also, like Tabs said, the name change was very last-minute and done without any time for input or comments.
Back to the Early Installment has been unlaunched, again, and Jonesangelo 369 suspended for the twiceover rogue-launching.
So, two things:
Firstly, I still think that something needs to be done about Our Nymphs Are Prettier.
Secondly, Our Kobolds Are Different seems a pretty clear case of a premature launch — discussion was still ongoing and few if any of the proposed examples seem to have been given consideration. It also had a net total of -3 hats — five hats and eight bombs.

And it was launched by the person who made the draft, which is usually a good thing, except that they made an awful draft and did nothing but wait for people to fix it for them. They aren't contributing properly.
Edit: And what a shock? They didn't bother to crosswick, either.

Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallI feel Nymphs needs to be restricted to Nymphs only.

- Scrub Houri, Huldra, Peri, etc, from Mythology.
If they're not called Nymphs, and possibly Naiads or Dryads, they're out.

I noticed this page was submitted to cutlist, too. The reporting troper claims valid examples have not been added in TLP. And there are tropes talking about it on the article's discussion page.
Just premature launch all around.
BTW, what do we think of the "Our X Are Different" — is this snowclone approved and still used for new tropes?
Thank you.

Everything's Worse with Snowclones lists it as one of the two snowclone patterns that are allowed — the "Are Different" part encourages focus on explaining how, precisely, the trope is used in the work. Apparently, not using it tended to result in people just adding bare-bones "Work X has these creatures" sort of examples.
