Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

It's also crashing into other pages named Aurora. FanFic.Aurora, Music.Aurora, and VideoGame.Aurora and related subpages.
Ironically, that page gives us just enough context to suggest moving it to Webcomic.Aurora 2019

I sent a ZCE notifier, so we'll see.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessNew stubs in the dreaded roleplay namespace: Roleplay. We Could Be and Characters. We Could Be (one character does have tropes, the rest are placeholders; spoiler policy not followed). Notifiers sent.

Brought it up at the Roleplay Cleanup thread.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessTear Dryer was rogue launched by Super Scrub. Granted, the OP is Rom Watt, so it might take a bit for this to be legitimately launched, but...

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAnd the user was also a nonparticipant, so suspending after unlaunching.
Edit: They also rogue-launched Ludicrous Gift Request despite not participating in that one either. That one's unlaunched too.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportDoes Notorious Parent look okay? It only has two examples per folder.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Well it's an okay idea but it seems barebones.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."healing (isn't) linear is a fanfic stub. It's recent, though, and I've messaged the creator, so there's hope it will be fleshed out.
Gladstone Gander is a new troper who has made three new pages today, back-to-back. Unfortunately, each page is an unindexed stub. I sent a notifier, but I'm mentioning it now in case action needs to be taken later.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessTwo of those pages are stubs, Series.Arliga Bla Ogon is merely adequate, though all of them are unindexed.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Pickles was created two years ago but has a bare description and no examples.
Freeze-Frame Introduction Rogue Launch by Corindhero.
All ZCE Entries, no comment Integration, still has TLP related Wicks, etc.

So, bring Works Needing Tropes to here, for cutting if they don't have a lot of edits?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576~Berrenta, I'm just letting you know that corindhero needed a tap for far more things than just a rogue launch. Please check out this ATT thread that was started just before they launched a draft.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessFreeze Frame unlaunched; culprit suspended.
Noted. Discarded and locked their drafts.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportSpeaking of bad pages, we just got a report via the site's contact form that Torn City has been the subject of malicious promotion attempts on other sites. Looking at this article, it doesn't seem like an attempt to describe the work so much as an advertisement for it.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The examples seem passable, the problem is with the description. I'll remove the advertising bits.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)Can we get some opinions on Memetic Comparison? It reads like an attempt to remake Counterpart Comparison and has 12 bombs, but the people actually posting on the draft are ignoring this issue and acting like nothing is wrong.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWorth mentioning is that the draft was actually named Counterpart Comparison for a while, so there's no ambiguity that it's an attempt to bring Counterpart Comparison back from the dead.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I think it has potential. Counterpart Comparison could be whatever individual tropers see, while this is more strict. It's about memetic or otherwise popular comparisons amongst fans.
In definition, the concepts were identical, so there's no way to guarantee the misuse won't just come back. The TRS thread has a few examples mentioned of wide-spread fan perception, but they were eclipsed by the "character is sort of similar to other character".
Anyway, this is a discussion for the draft itself.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThat's not what Counterpart Comparison was intended to mean. Counterpart Comparison itself was intended for common comparisons among multiple fans of a work, but was often misused for individuals' comparisons. As I said, Memetic Comparison is an attempt to bring Counterpart Comparison back.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. We don't need yet another way to say "these two characters have something on common.". Counterpart Comparison was nixed for a reason and should stay nixed.
Maybe they can benefit from How to Collect Tropes? And give 'em another week.
