Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages
. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

Wow, that's bad. Formatting's wrong, spelling errors, not a single non-ZCE, most of his links didn't work... impressive.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Is Those Who Dare Impersonate The Dead worth saving? Like, do we have that one? Yeah, it has a bunch of problems, but we can send it to YKTTW to fix most of it, I think. My understanding of that article, since it has the issues mentioned above and Example as a Thesis, is "Character messes with supernatural forces, and the forces attack/overpower/corrupt the character."
If it's worth saving I'm willing to support an unlaunch and send it to YKTTW.
If it's not worth saving, I say just cut it.
@Septimus Heap, post #435:
I've discovered Good Luck Charm thanks to your post, and found potential in it; I've taken some of my time cleaning the page, adding it to an index, and wick'd it to the best of my capabilities. I hope I did a good enough job; if not, don't hesitate telling me what I did wrong and I'll do my best correcting things. I'm also pretty sure there's other examples in my mind for this trope, I'll add them whenever I'll remember one.

"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeThose Who Dare Impersonate The Dead has a good enough description that it should be easy to fix by rerunning through YKTTW.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman... does it? Given there's not a single actual example in there, the writer managed to make a single working link in the description, and the vast majority of the description is just describing a scene from Hellsing, it's better just to cut the whole damn thing and start from scratch if we think we need such a subtrope for Tempting Fate. And I'm pretty sure it's also covered elsewhere (possibly Evil Is Not a Toy?).
So... yeah. I say cut the sumbitch.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. That sounds like a slightly-more-specific Evil Is Not a Toy, yeah. I'd call it unsalvageable.
Sliding Scale of Continuity. Just as a note, since it's another Sliding Scale page.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe page is pretty decent, though. And while I do hate sliding scales, that's actually pretty useful info. So I'm a bit torn.
Are we good to cut that Those Who Dare Impersonate The Dead?
EDIT: And a side note... even if we didn't cut it, we'd probably have to open a TRS thread since the name is absolute garbage to boot.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Wheelchair Antics needs food badly. Launched with only one hat back in January, and apparently nobody ever questioned why its description was less than a tweet long.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Sliding Scale of Continuity: I have to agree, that seems like it would be actually interesting. I'd be inclined to make it Just for Fun, or to not allow examples off the page, though.
Wheelchair Antics: There might be a trope in there. I'd support sending back to YKTTW.
Running into the Window: I count two votes (including mine) supporting unlaunching, and none opposed.
Looks like Serpent of Immortality mislaunched.

Dont Noun Me. May be worth asking the creator's assistance here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI vote for Dont Noun Me to go through YKTTW. Were we to discuss it here with its creator, we'd need to do what YKTTW does anyways. I did a quick look for a YKTTW draft to no avail.
Quirky Good sounds like Stupid Good, but it's an index. It had three hats
. Also, I would think the tropes in an index do not require an explanation for clarity as to why that trope is listed; if the trope fits (and you understand the trope), then all you need to say is the trope.
It looks fine to me. And by the way, pretty much every sub-index of Video Game Tropes has lines quickly describing each item in the index.
Right, I didn't say it's policy; I said I would think it shouldn't be that way. Is the snowclone not an issue? It has to do with the good alignment, but with Lawful, Chaotic, and Neutral Good and the Stupid alignments, people might expect the article to be a trope.
Russia Iran Disco Suck. Not too bad, but it looks a bit odd to me.

No YKTTW that I can see.
