Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages
. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

Flapping Cheeks was launched with zero hats.
Here's the YKTTW: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/discussion.php?id=gbudfem17f6d39oqvurcnfvy&trope=FlappingCheeks
Edit: Here's more 0 hat launches: Stopped By A Smile, The Chosen Wannabe, Worry About The Million Others (1 hat, but only 4 examples),

Doesn't Refused by the Call already cover what The Chosen Wannabe is supposed to be? If so, then we can just cut it.

I'd like to cut all of them once I make sure no one is vehemently opposed to it.
We can always remake the YKTT Ws later if needed.
Today's worklist:
- Beavis and Butt-Head: Is this interesting enough to stay around? Also asking ~saffronpanther.
- Destroy The Remains: Stub trope by ~Party Escort Bot Beans made without YKTTW.
- Hacking Montage: Stub trope by ~maskedlogician made without YKTTW.
What is the verdict on Stopped By A Smile and Driving Stick.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAdditional work page stubs: Pumpkin, Good Fences, Swept Away 2002, Hart's War, The Emperor's Club, and The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I apologize if the Beavis and Butt-Head Self-Demonstrating page is an issue. I thought it would fit to the requisites listed forth by the Characters Page for Self-Demonstrating. Given that I saw entries for characters like Ice Bear and that bomber from The Tick, I thought that Beavis & Butt-Head would be relevant, since they're known and have a particular speech pattern, as per fitting the requisites. If there was a ban on making Character Pages of the like, I did not see it. I apologize if this created a problem.
Today's worklist:
- Becoming Human: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Super Smash Bros Animated Series: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Check out Lost And Found (Trope Finder) for help with tracking down tropes.
See How To Write An Example for assistance as well.
Today's worklist:
- Equestrial Plains: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Patreon: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Sargon Of Akkad: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Tsukiuta and Tsukiuta: ~yamamotochigusa, please do not write empty unindexed character pages. Likewise, work pages with no description and only two tropes are undesirable.
- 'Watch Movie Online Putlocker Dotcom: Aside from being a stub: Is this a legit website? The page was created by two accounts which are sock- or meatpuppets of each other, it seems.
- Analysis.WWE: Is this a legit analysis page? I've suspended the creating editor for a vandaltastic edit on another page.
Regarding LEGO Jurassic World, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, LEGO Marvel, The LEGO Movie and LEGO The Lord of the Rings, ~Sean Wheeler please do not write unindexed stub work pages with no description.
Teasing from Behind the Language Barrier as well as bitemytail's pages need still input.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI've lengthened the Patreon page about as much as I can with information that I think is relevant to fiction. I did not know the site had developed a hostility towards stubs. I regard them as starting places. Even trope pages have stubs—they just are created in YKTTW. There is no equivalent for other types of pages.
It's at least as long as the Kickstarter page now, except I don't think it would make sense to include a list of examples of people who use Patreon—it would be faster to say which Internet content providers don't use it.
Putlocker is a legit site. It's one of those 'watch movies free' things. It doesn't have a bad reputation according to Google, but my son griped about it once saying the ads were iffy.
@Mr Pod Person: Stub articles have been a don't-do-that for at least as far back as the current edit banned/suspended thread goes -some four years. It's not hostility, it's making the wiki look good so every editor can take pride in it and every reader has a pleasant experience.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett![]()
The WWE page looks like a prolonged rant to me, more fit for the Reviews page than being one of the informational pages.
Do folks want to keep or cut Beavis and Butt-Head?
Otherwise, worklist:
- Gods of Egypt: Stub work page; its creator was banned for persistent ZCE rule violations.
- Night Of Freddy: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Additional work page stubs: Frankenstein 2004 and The Dust Factory.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The Chosen Wannabe, if I recall, was in YKTTW for a while but almost completely ignored. I guess the OP got bored of waiting and just launched it. I haven't read it over, so I don't know if it's good or even trope worthy, but it at least needs to be sent back to yk.
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!Today's worklist:
- AMvs: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Gustav Vasa: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Nightlight: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- PPR: Stub work page; creator messaged. Also some concerns about inappropriately troping real people.
The editor for Nose Vanish mentioned their page on ATT, establishing that they did not go through the proposal process. They indexed well, and have one Cross Wick, but the examples seem to all be ZCE.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.I just wanted to point out that A Mvs and its subpages have been blanked by their creator, ~Reddy Wizard. Should they be restored and/or cut?
Thank you for noticing, the "A Mvs" have the wrong name for my fault. I named it like its initials, thinking it would be easier to identify since most people reffer to that show as "A Mvs" instead od "Aitor Molina vs.". So I made new pages with the "Aitor Molina Vs" name and cut all that was written in "A Mvs" not to lose anything. So yeah, you can delete "A Mvs". Now I know that capital letters are used as space in the links.
P.D.: I also made the https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WebVideo/DaSuisa
, could you check in case I put something wrong?
First day as a troper without Informatics knowledge. Sorry if I do something wrong.
Today's worklist:
- The Gamer – Restart: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Melechesh: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- School of No Studying: ~Yasmin Perry, was there a YKTTW about this trope?

Today's worklist:
- Chicago Trilogy: ~bombadil211, please do not make Franchise/ pages for series with only one medium.
- Michael Peña: ~pepsimax, please do not make pages under non-alphanumeric titles.
- Teasing from Behind the Language Barrier: Trope made without YKTTW by ~Glim; most examples are Real Life examples to boot.
