Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages
. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues
thread.

Coga Nito is shaping up well, but it needs Crosswicking.
Otherwise, worklist:
- Characters.Kanpai Senshi After V: Empty character page by ~Kindle 4 Light.
- Margedion Academy: That looks more like material for a character page than a main work page, and it's badly formatted too, ~princekane.
- Noxcrew Gameshow: Um, ~JordanTH, is this a Web Video?
- Plastic Memories: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Yu-Gi-Oh Revolution Gathering: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Characters.Yu Gi Oh Revolution Gathering: Empty character page by Leon_Spitman.
Hi there. I got the message regarding 'Plastic Memories. It's a series that will begin airing tomorrow and I think is going to receive a lot of attention from other tropers. I would thus respectfully request that the page would not be deleted yet as I will add tropes to it later today. Thanks for the heads up though.
Thanks very much for the input, everyone. Proper Crosswicking is on my to-do list for this evening. While I'm in the process, I'll have another look over what's listed on the works page, and maybe consider taking some off and 'putting them aside for later' in case later comic updates provide better examples of such. Edit: Good call in particular on Slasher Smile- that page itself linked me to Cheshire Cat Grin, which is much more accurate for the character in question [being 'eccentric and up to something' rather than 'literally going to murder someone'].

Actually, since you're the creator, you're in a unique position to provide whatever information you want to provide via Word of God or All There in the Manual, it just needs to be hosted somewhere. So if you do like a companion blog or something where you post supplementary information, you won't need to worry about whether you're troping something that has actually happened in the work or if you're just losing perspective on what you know and what your readers know. If that makes sense. Just an idea.
Today's worklist:
- Doctor Who The Ginger Chronicles: ~Kitty Eden, this is not an approved namespace. What is the proper one?
- Nelvana of the Northern Lights: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Rally Round the Flag, Boys!: Stub work page; let's see if we can work without messaging.
- Thunderbirds Are Go: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- WondLa: Stub work page; creator messaged.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman~Digifiend & ~KittyEden — Fanfic/ is for Literature-based stories that violate copyright. Any other stories that violate copyright are permitted in their medium namespaces, which would be Web Video/ in this case.

Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Tryrar, the intention was to pre-emptively prevent redlinks. What if people start adding stuff to other pages (such as Thunderbirds) before the page was made? Also, notice that I already categorized it (under British Series). How many pages get made without that being done?
Here are two more:
- Unknown Assailant: Stub trope page launched in 2011 without a ykttw, seems to be superfluous to Hidden Villain.
- Joy Ride: Stub work page lacking a trope list, launched in 2012.
Thunderbirds Are Go has been expanded and I've just copied the Doctor Who: The Ginger Chronicles page to the Web Video namespace. The wrong namespace version should probably now be cutlisted and the Main redirect needs to be updated.

Today's worklist:
- Dragonriders of Pern: ~Chericola, please do not make unindexed pages containing only Zero Context Examples.
- Justice League: Gods and Monsters: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Narutos Law: Stub trope with no examples, YKTTW or indexing by ~Malverum.
- Suikoden: ~Willy Four Eyes, does this work actually qualify for Franchise/? There don't seem to be enough mediums.
I think Suikoden should count. The series had been going on for at least a decade (five mainline video games and at least two spinoffs), and there were a few radio shows and drama CD adaptations that aren't chronicled in detail here on TVT. I probably goofed by changing the namespace and not adding the page to the index when I was working on it.
"It ain't about whether you win or lose, unless you got money on the game, because...damn. That's your money, son."Willy, there needs to be pages for 3 distinct mediums present on TV Tropes before it qualifies for a franchise page. The fact that there are works in that many mediums isn't sufficient in itself.
Kitty, I fixed the namespace for you. I copy and pasted the page to the right namespace, mentioned what I did, and I see that the incorrectly named page has now been deleted (and I assume any wicks updated - I left that job for a moderator to do). The actual article looks fine, it was just in the wrong place.
I did just notice that the Fan Work page is about types of fan work, not a specific one, so I'm afraid Ginger Chronicles didn't belong there. It should have been indexed on Web Video.

Today's worklist:
- Geometry Dash: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Playing With Mah Wii: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Another worklist:
- Cinema Strophe: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Mr Ubiquitous: Um, ~PDL, are you sure this actually belongs into Web Original?
I've actually never heard of the work in question, so I don't really know what category it's actually supposed to fall under. I only made the page because the original page was in the wrong namespace (if I recall, it was created under "Web Series"). I moved to "Mr Ubiquitous" but wasn't aware that "Web Series" wasn't even a proper category.

~PDL: Seems like it's a YouTube series, thus it would go into WebVideo/.
Otherwise, worklist:
- C 4 Quest: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Unknown Assailant: Old stub trope, anybody support a cut or some other measure?
~Digifiend: crazysamaritan has the right of it. Red Links are not inherently a bad thing. Red Linking works is actually more or less encouraged as long as they point to the correct name for the page, because it encourages editors familiar with the work to create a page for it.
Edit: As a matter of fact, that's mentioned in the second paragraph on Red Link.

Today's worklist:
- Frontier Circus: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Wandering Traveller: Stub work page; creator messaged.
Also, seeing as nobody has justified Suikoden I've backed the page back out.

Oh, I see. Well, in any case, the rest of my post is valid. I also agree with everything Cathari Sarad said: It still needs work, but it's shaping up nicely.
