Does a wiki really lend itself to combat? I was thinking more like at category matching card game.
Death Tropes, Appearance Tropes, Action/Adventure Tropes, Morality Tropes and others. Pool the cards you get into a viable category, first to form five groups of twenty wins. We could then use the game for brainstorming with friends. Competition and collaboration at once!
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackWe could call it Tropes Of Legend
A variation of the game could be called Tropes Are Bad, based on Uno, where you try to rid yourself of all your cards. There Is No Such Thing As Notablity or Unpublished based on Bull**** where you have to lie about which card you are putting down sooner or later, based on the fact we will take anything so long as it actually exists. The first proposed game will be based on Go-fish and be Lost And Found.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture Rack

I've had the idea of a TVT card game knocking around in my head for some time. Have the idea its possibly a little like 'Munchkin'(caveat, I've only played once). In your turn you can attack other players, and/or play cards. Each card is a Trope. So, you may have a 'Character Card' Badass, and then play on him the Object 'Long Coat' giving him bonuses.
Opponent has 5 Mook cards up against your guy? Play Conservation of Ninjutsu to level things out!
No idea on specifics, so I thought 'Hey, boys and girls, lets do the show right here!' errrr I mean, lets crowdsource the ideas.
