Something odd I've noticed about Superman and Batman adaptations.

Harley humanizes the Joker a bit (never too much, since she never changes him for the actually better) at times, but she also serves to dehumanize him even more when he's showing his domestic abuser side.

See Marquee Alter Ego.
Oh, yes, the disgusting attitude that has infected world of professional wrestling.

Anyway, a costume like Batman's is not particularly hard to work with in performance art. Maybe they should be recruiting more athletes for athletic lead roles like Batman?

Well I think it's also dependent on how different alter egos are. Is Clark Kent more different from Superman compared to Bruce Wayne and Batman? While someone could portray Clark as more bumbling to create a greater contrast, it seems like Clark and Superman are both positive figures in different ways, and fairly unified. Clark the muckraker and Superman.

Batman's persona as Bruce Wayne IMO seems to be a much bigger contrast. The billionaire playboy who seems not to care, and the brooding hero.
