Uni catImagine the Great Saiyaman in this universe. Like a nerdier Saitama with limits.
So, I’ve been thinking about ideas in a metasense, ideas about ideas, because that’s a thing I do.
So, happy ending for Saitama* is finding someone strong enough to take him on. So, who is this theoretical guy that’d be Saitama’s match? I first imagined someone who is in the same position as Saitama, aching for a challenge but unable to find it, so basically like Boros except stronger. Perhaps a not-so-bad guy who comes to earth and challenges heroes and villains one-on-one till he finds his match, so a lot like Garou too.
I just imagine, I could be wrong but I imagine, that everyone else’s thoughts when a similar track when they jumped on the “a match for Saitama” train.
So I thought about that thought, I had an idea about that idea. So, what if he’s** not? What if, this guy revels in being stronger than everyone else? I want you to imagine a dark mirror to Saitama. A guy who might even hold back his strength to prolong fights such as Saitama. Saitama, I feel, does it in hopes that his opponent will bust out something stronger or out of apathy of even putting his all into it. THIS guy does it to make his foes, his ‘’victims’’, the impression that they might actually stand a chance, just so he can watch the hope drain from their eyes as he proves how wrong they are.
This guy, when faced with Saitama, will not be overjoyed at finally finding a challenge. Instead, he will be frustrated by being forced to fight someone he can’t effortlessly roll over, his reaction an inversion of Saitama’s.
Except, depending on how many Moral Event Horizons this guy has crossed, if such a villain were to exist, it might ultimately taint Saitama’s enjoyment.
*One possible happy ending, besides learning to accept and live with a life without fulfilling martial challenges. ** Or she, but I doubt it from ONE.

Thank you.
On top of not giving every chapter a title, just "32nd-45th punch", the extras and specials are sometimes included, sometimes not, and then some chapters are divided into 44.1, 44.2, ugh, it's agitating.
But then, yeah, biting the hand.
