"Run away? From these things? Hahaha, please. These over-grown tin cans will be no problem. Watch Michel, I'll show you why these 'masters' will be no problem."
With a red glow, a demon tail appeared on Kneesocks as she began to reveal her true power. With a sudden flash, Kneesocks outfit was replaced with an incredibly skimpy outfit made out of black leather, metal spikes and pieces placed here and there. A flash of red light revealed a pair of glowing demon wings and a tail, before quickly fading.
She started chanting.
"May the earth shatter;
"may the oceans dry;"
"may the sun extinguish itself;"
"grant upon us the power of Our Lord Satan in Hell."
As she spoke, she ran her hands over her body till she reached her waist, and began to slowly and sensually remove her kneesocks; more than likely giving anyone behind her a view. Her face was a different, gone was her hauty expression and was instead replaced by one of a predator. Slitted, yellow eyes and sharp teeth.
In another flash, the leather outfit was once again replaced by her old outfit. Spinning her kneesocks around her fingers, they began to grow and shift until they shifted into a pair of deadly-looking yellow and black glowing scythes.
"We are demons! High-class commander demons!" She paused for a second, as if waiting for something, before realising her sister wasn't there. She sighed. "It doesn't feel the same."
"Now, Michel. You humans are usually pathetically weak. Are you any different? Or can you defend yourself? Nevermind."
The Geth opened fire on the demon. Bullets flew at Kneesocks, which she easily deflected with a spin of her scythes. She launched herself from a standstill at the robots, spinning herself and her scythes around, the wicked weapons parting the metallic contraptions with ease.

Seeing the Geths continuing to block her way from her Vespa, Haruko then pointed the other end of the guitar at them and began firing at them, shooting down a rocket that was shot at her by one of them.
"Outthewaygetoutthewaygetouttheway...!" she shouted to the Geths as she fired her gun at the Geths advancing towards her.

Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashBowser, Streets
Before he'd rolled on too far past the battle, Bowser dug his claws deep into the ground, braking his shell-assault. "BWAH-HA-HA!" he roared out, viewing the devastation he'd wrought. "It's a mighty fine day for you guys to die!" Before long, he leapt into melee distance of the Geth, his leathery skin rendering their shots ineffectual. "I hope you don't mind something more personal."
He wound up his fist and delivered a massive haymaker to one of the Geth, sending a pearly white fluid spattering from several spots of it's body and sending it sparking and sputtering towards it's compatriots. It let out a high pitched death squeal as it bowled into another geth's head, killing it as well. He noticed the impressive slaughter of the remaining Geth by the armor-clad Kurgan.
"Impressive!" he shouted. "Very impressive!"
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Pride, surprisingly, was the one that went to help Finn. Holding a piece of stick he found nearby, he rushed towards the Geth that was fighting with Finn, mimicking the older boy's behavior, even doing the same grunts and yells. However, Pride was noticeably shorter than Finn, and so what the adventurous boy got to see Selim hitting the Geth's legs with his stick, which wasn't doing any damage at all to the robot. The Geth easily slapped the stick from Pride's hands, and the boy stumbled back, falling to the ground as the robot got ready to blow him to smithereens...
... but that's exactly what Pride wanted. Secretly grinning inside, the boy covered his face with his arms, and began to slash the air, yelling in a semi-crying state. "Get away! Get away from me and Finn! Get away!" That action wasn't that exciting, but he wanted Finn to be paying attention, as the shadows slowly started to move, following Pride's arm movements. He made sure the movement was slow and rude, just so it looked like he didn't know how to fully control his "newfound power". He slashed the air one more time, almost crying, and a shadow jumped from the ground, turned into a blade, and slashed the Geth, an action that didn't defeat the robot, but gave Pride enough time to continue his plan.
He wanted it to look like he had just found out about his powers, and that's what he did. Pride looked up at the shadow blade with a mix of wonder and despair, and once it slashed the Geth, he looked as his trembling hands, with a look that practically said "d-did I just do this?". As the Geth took a moment to get back to action, Pride stood up, and ran back to where Finn was, the shadows turning back to normal as he did so. "W-what j-j-just happened?" He asked, his legs and hands still shaking. "I d-d-don't know what I just d-d-did..."
Shampoo, Outside the Castle
Shampoo suddenly jumped away to try to avoid Subaru and Chung's weaponry. Their weaponry was actually impressive, unlike anything seen in her world. However, the one she most noticed was Domon Kasshu, who had ended up declaring himself the Undefeated of the East, which would have been fighting words if her fiancee were here. He was obviously more grounded in what she knew of reality.
"My fiancee undefeated, period!" Shampoo retorted to Domon Kasshu, as if he challenged her own honor as a martial artist.
Shampoo did wish she had one of her weapons with her like the Kurgan or Ghi had though. It looked like she would just have to improvise, which meant using the Geth she had been standing on as a weapon against the other Geth, knocking a few of them down and damaging them with her improvised weapon before tossing the body away from her.
The Streets
Haruko's machine gun would eliminate the Geth standing between her and her Vespa, though more would be coming.
Freakazoid would find that the Geth were more interested in shooting rockets at him than talking to him.
G. Callen would see the fighting outside, but none of the Geth entered into the bar, though they did look at G. Callen through the window as if they wanted him outside.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyRiku, on the Streets right outside the Bar
A loud chunk! rang out as the leader of these robots brought that large weapon up to its shoulder and launched what was unmistakably a small rocket at Riku. Still committed to the act of slicing the arm from his chosen opponent, the silver-haired teen had no time to dodge; instead he threw up another dark barrier, trusting in the magic to protect him from the blast.
In this, he was to be disappointed.
The rocket slammed into the spherical shield and promptly exploded, shattering Riku’s barrier as the force of the blast tossed him into the air. He let out a short cry of pain as he flew; his shield had blunted the explosion’s force and power, but enough of the heat and pressure had still gotten through to singe him pretty badly. Another hit like that one and he’d be toast.
Better not let that happen, he thought with a grimace.
Flipping himself back into an upright position with a small double-jump, he straightened his arm out so that Way To The Dawn was pointing directly at the white-and-grey rocketeer.
“Goodbye!” he yelled, launching a ball of mystical black flames from the tip of his Keyblade. The Dark Firaga spell streaked through the air with a dull roar and struck the robots’ leader right in the chest, detonating in an explosion of darkness which reduced the machine and its rocket launcher to so many chunks of smoking scrap metal.
He landed on the street then, grunting slightly from the pain of the blast. “Who else wants some?” he called to the remaining robots.
The Danse Macabre Codex"Duke?! I'll have you know that that I'm the King of the Disney Wasteland," Oswald said, with a somewhat annoyed expression on his face, his ears starting to twitch. "And when did Mickey become a king? I saw him just a few weeks ago, and he wasn't a king then."
Before Riku or Sora could answer Oswald's question, loud noises started coming from outside. Riku got up to investigate, and Oswald followed suit. Exiting the tavern, Oswald was greeted by the source of the noise: a group of 5 odd organic looking animatronics, each holding a gun of some sort. 4 of them were dark blueish, but one of them white-grey-he was probably the leader. Riku was busy fighting a few of them off with an odd looking sword and some shadowy lookimg magic. Oswald would be sure to ask about that later.
Reaching into his pocket, Oswald retreived his trusty Remote. "You guys want a fight, huh? Well then, lets fight." Oswald started firing off strong beams of electricity at the robots, leaping and dodging bullets while doing so. The electrified bots started to twitch uncontrolaby, and then fell to the ground, dead.
More robots were starting to show up. Oswald targeted one of the stronger looking bots, another grey and white one, and proceeded to land a strong kick squarly to its chest, which caused the robot to go slamming into a nearby wall. The impact was so strong, the bot fell apart in a mess of machinery and odd liquid a few seconds after landing on the ground. "Seems like you guys messed with the wrong rabbit!" Oswald said, taunting the robots.

Altair had followed along, thankful that the man in the long coat had returned his nod, and continued moving with the small group. He started to feel something, a sort of strange tingling that disturbed Altair. He also didn't particularly like the sound of the demonette's claims, but Altair could agree about not giving up.
With nothing to say, Altair had remained in silence until Blue's last statement, giving a slight mutter of "They made this place?" to nobody in particular. Then Blue had disappeared, and something had changed; the tingling was gone, and not long after, strange new arrivals started to show up. Altair could tell they weren't Human, but he couldn't begin to guess what they were exactly besides probably some kind of mythical monster or demon. They all were holding objects, likely weapons, in a stance that Altair recognized as how crossbowmen wielded their weapons.
Unfortunately, that only gave Altair a bit of warning of what was coming. The demonette did some kind of temporary transformation into a strange outfit, the likes of which Altair had never seen before, but then went back to her previous outfit. She joined the battle with the strange beings, and Altair prepared to do likewise, reaching for his own sword as one of the grey ones aimed at him and fired. One of the rounds in the burst hit Altair in the side before he could get his sword out, making him yell out in pain and quickly reel back. Clearly, Altair would have to rethink his usual strategy; so, he quickly grabbed one of the smaller knives from his belt, and flung it towards the Geth in one smooth movement. It bounced off a purple shield that suddenly appeared around the Geth.
Altair stared for a moment, then quickly ran to one side, ducking into a nearby alley. One of the black Geth rushed towards the alley, sticking to the sidewalk away from the other combatants. It moved to aim down the alley quickly, but didn't get a shot off, as suddenly the end of a sword was sticking out of its back. Altair, grip on the sword, lurched it upwards a bit, tearing up through more of the Geth's torso as its eye flickered out and died before it started to dissipate into purple smoke. Altair backed off into the alley again, sword at the ready now and waiting for any more of them to try rounding the corner.
You are reading this.Adam Jensen, the edge of the city
Adam heard the red-skinned woman respond to "Blues'" answer with an amount of confidence that most certainly strayed into the territory of haughtiness. Adam found to be an unwise attitude. In his time in SWAT, overconfidence in his own abilities had caused Adam to jeopardize his life and the life of others. He had learned to be more careful to evaluate his abilities in relation to his situation, to be able find alternatives to the most difficult route, since then. Still, it was good to know there were those who held the same desire to escape as he did. Even if that person was apparently a servant of Satan Adam did feel rather perturbed about that fact, but this place was a cross section of different universes. He would no doubt come across more odd people or creatures like that giant fire-breathing turtle he saw at the beach; he supposed he would have to get used to it for now.
"They?" Adam said at "Blues'" response to his question, glancing at him and back at the tower. "You mean... your masters." Adam stared at the tower, a small scowl appearing on his face. "And what exactly... would that be?" he asked, slowly bringing his gun out of his trench coat and readying it, anticipating trouble in the near future. "Blues" did not answer Adam's question, due to having inexplicably vanished out of thin air in a flurry of snow. Adam's answer was, unfortunately, answered at once. On the street, a number of blue rectangular cubes rose up from the ground. They had some sort of text at the top right of each, though Adam didn't know what it meant. At any rate, it did not possess as much relevance to the matter at hand as what had appeared inside the cubes and stepped out.
They were of a vaguely humanoid form, but were entirely cybernetic. They carried assault rifles in their hands of an alien design. "Combat robots." Adam growled, readying his weapon. It could easily be estimated what these things had come here to do. He was about to attack when the female devil stepped in front of everybody, saying she would show how things in this city would not be a problem for her. It was then that Adam witnessed the demon performing a most... unusual act that resulted in the demon reverting back to her original form after changing her knee socks into a scythe, then making some boastful proclamations. As she finished, Adam stared at her incredulously.
"...What-" Gunfire from the combat robots cut Adam off. He dashed away and rolled into cover behind a nearby horse carriage as the Demon charged at the machines. Seeing he were up against a particularly large and well armed force of enemies, he decided to switch to a weapon more appropriate for the task at hand. Adam holstered his sidearm and took out his assault rifle. He switched the safety off and peaked around the corner of the carriage to fire a couple of bursts at two robots that were currently in a position to flank the slashing demon.

"And then the dead man of the dead did dead things to all the dead people."-Two Best Friends Play Dark SoulsSelim's interference came just in time, as the inactive Geth had already begun to dissipate into a thick, purple smoke that stung his eyes. The chatter of assault rifle fire began to die down, and as Finn looked down the alleyway he saw Selim, rushing headlong towards the robots wielding nothing but a stick. "Wait!" He cried, reaching out to the younger boy, but it was already too late. The little prince had tried and failed to mimic Finn, crumbling into a heap as the machines took aim. He stood, rushing towards the monsters, sword in hand, but before he could raise his blade something marvelous happened.
The shadows, moved, twisting and dancing around in time with Selim's movements like he was conducting a puppet show. The fuzz? Was this some kind of crazy magic power that Selim hadn't told him about? if it was, it seemed pretty weak. Soon enough, though, the shadows began to lash out, putting a blade in the young boy's hand to swing quickly and crudely at the robots, putting a deep gash through the nearest one's torso. His aggressors now distracted, Selim rushed back to Finn's side, still frightened. Looked like he didn't know about these powers after all. Still wasn't too impressive, but darn if it wasn't useful. Guess he wasn't defenceless after all. A wide, manic grin split Finn's face as he turned to Selim. "I dunno either. But whatever it is, keep it up!"
With that, he rushed towards the Geth and, as he neared them, leaped through the air before bringing his sword down in a single, graceful overhead strike that split the damaged machine from head to crotch, spraying Finn's clothes with a thick, blue oil. Pretty grody, but he'd had worse. As the hero truned to face the final machine, it raised its rifle and opened fire. Thankfully, its aim wasn't too good, with only a few rounds catching Finn in the arms and shoulder. It hurt like the dickens, but still he charged, his face twisted into a mask of rage.
Instead of finishing it off, however, he ended his charge with a full-body tackle that knocked the monster to the ground. Finn and the Geth wrestled for a moment, the machine's weapon falling to the ground with a clatter of metal on concrete. Soon enough, he managed to keep his opponent in a standing hold, his sword placed against the robot's neck. "Finish him!" He called out as the robot began to struggle, a few ell-timed elbow jabs catching Finn in the gut and illiciting a grunt of pain. If Selim or anyone else wanted this to be over, they'd have to act now.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyG noted the Geth outside the bar, starting at him with some of their small arms at the ready.
"Not good. I'm already made."
The federal agent slowly unholstered his Sig Sauer P229 from his In-Pants holster.
Great. The only thing G got is a white undershirt, a blue and white plaid shirt, jeans and black Oakley SI Assault shoes that Sam got him recently to help him move around easily in his NCIS job. Not exactly the best thing I have for self-protection.
He did a brass check on his sidearm as he carefully approached the window, hoping that he won't be fired upon yet.

Michal saw Kneesocks transform into something a little more monsterish, and realized that he would eventually need to fight too, if her talk of "defending yourself" is any indication. Michal then pulled out a small, blue, circular device. "Yeah... But... I..." Michal murmured. He looked at the device in his hands. In order to work the driver, he would need the thing he feared most... water. Michal gulped. He then noticed the bar. Several of the Geth opened fire at Michal, causing him to run into the bar.
He ran to find a sink of sorts, or some source of water. Eventually, he found it. He looked at the tap. He was left with no option. He closed his eyes and turned on the tap. "Pretend it's not there... pretend it's not there..." Michal said as the sound of rushing water came about. He then slapped the device on his waist, creating a belt that fitted around the waist. "He... HENSHIN!" He shouted as the device whirred to life. The water from the tap then flew off into his belt, swirling around in the driver until Michal glowed blue.
Soon, a figure crashed through the window. The figure was akin to something like a biker
◊, with his heavily padded suit with an aqua colored under suit. His helmet sported large yellow eyes. There were also lines of silver on him. The figure looked to the Geth. He then turned to Kneesocks.
"Yeah... Humans are usually weak... But... I'm different... I... doubt I can defend myself... But... I could try?" Michal said as he looked to the Geth and sported a half-assed fighting pose. One of the lesser Geth fired on him, and soon, the composure of Michal was completely broken as he ran for cover, screaming like a pansy.

Jolyne's attack seemed to work a lot better than she had expected it to. The robots didn't seem to et back up after being knocked down. She took a moment to look around to check to see if anyone else was hurt. She saw the boy with the weird hat fending off one of the robots, trying to protect an even smaller boy. The smaller boy rushed forward to try to help, but he just swung around pathetically doing nothing.
Then suddenly the shadows seemed to lash out at the robot, almost following the kid's commands. Whether that was on purpose or not, he seemed to be helping. The two kids seemed to be able to hold off the robots until they got to the last one. When the one with the weird hat called out for help Jolyne burst into a sprint straight at the Geth. With a determined glare in her eyes she called out her Stand fully. "Stone Free!" She shouted as the air filled with a sort of pulse-like noise.
Rising up out of the girl came a humanoid figure, colored a tanish-grey. It seemed to have plating-like structures on its arms, along with the same arms that came out of Jolyne's shoulders earlier. Its head had four ridges that rose up and what looked like sunglasses. It hovered just above her back as it pulled its fists back. Just as she got close enough to the Geth the humanoid figure released a flurry of punches. With each punch, parts of the Geth flew off. Eventually all that was left of it was scrap scattered about on the ground. Jolyne took a deep breath as her Stand floated behind her, taking a defensive stance. "You kids okay?" She asked, looking to Finn and Selim.
Caught up in the heat of battle, the knight's resolve was momentarily shaken as Chung saw that he nearly committed friendly fire. Blanching at his actions, he stood there awkwardly as the nearest Geth took that opportunity to pelt the boy with their firearms. Had he not been wearing the magical Freiturnier, said person would have been reclassified as burnt corpse. Still, the force of the blows were enough to punch through enough of the layers to cause minor burns underneath while simultaneously knocking the boy onto his back, who for a few moments, just laid there berating himself. The smell of charred metal filled the air, as well as the faintest whiff of burnt flesh.
"Chung, a proper soldier must be able to protect others as well as himself. He must also know when to preserve his own body, so that he can continue his services to the people." Warm words of his great father resounded in his mind just moments before the Geths fired another round at the downed boy. Suddenly rolling out of the blasts' way, the revived warrior once again laid his hands upon his weapon. This time, he was focused and alert.
Placing his cannon between him and the latest volley of shots as a shield, Chung charged towards the aggravators with grim silence. He was surprisingly fast, almost impossibly so. No one should have been able to close the distance so soon while carrying something so heavy and bulky. And yet he did it, with a most casual familiarity. All too soon, the one man stampede smashed himself and the nearest target into the moat bank. Extricating himself in a sudden jerking motion, the boy swung his weapon in a wide arc to hit several more Geths airborne- and often in unnatural contortions. With each hit, a notable click could be heard as the Freiturnier reloaded its shellings. Soon, all six shots were loaded...
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Subaru's attention was immediately drawn to the much larger Geth towards one edge of the battlefield. The others were all about human size but this one was twice that and more dangerous. The cyborg was even forced into using her arm to block its fire, which must look weird to observers: a girl blocking bullets with an apparently unprotected arm and taking only bruising.
Revolver Knuckle might not be enough. Punching something that big certainly would not be enough for one attack. That left the combat cyborg with one option using her normal abilities
"Cartridge Load!" Subaru called as she moved into range, just beyond melee distance. A blue orb appeared in front of her. "DIVINE... BUSTEEEEEEEEEEER!"
When she struck the magical sphere, it erupted into a short-ranged laser blast. Short-ranged but enough to beat the enemy. Hopefully, the Geth were mostly dealt with.
Just another girlFreakazoid got the feeling that he was being ignored. Clearly, these weird robot things were more interested in shooting rockety things at people than engaging in proper conversation. Then again, it wasn't as if they had mouths. Just weird, creepy curved cameras on top of their head. Not as creepy as those springy legs of theirs, but creepy nonetheless.
"Did your mommy never tell you not to fool with fireworks? You could burn your fingers off standing that close! I know it looks like fun but...say...that looks like fun..."
Without warning, he suddenly grabbed one of the Geth's rocket launchers, and tried to wrestle it out of the robot's hands. He wound up clambering onto the robot's back and pulling at the gun from there.
"My turn! My turn! C'mon, stop hogging it! Let me have a go!"
As he was struggling with the robot, it's possible they stumbled about enough that a few rockets hit its fellow androids.
And a Strange Figure Emerges.Seeing the Geth that blocked her way go down, Haruko looked at her vehicle with glowing eyes. She runs towards it, shooting down any Geth that's in her way with her guitar with a combination of bullets and rockets. As she was within reach of her Vespa, she started to swing her guitar at any Geth in her way, ignoring their bullets and rockets.
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 Smash"Hah!"
Ghi yelled as flames erupted from his blade as he slashed, incinerating several more Geth. Unfortunately, they just keep coming. Twelve he had killed already, and he was sure that the others have killed many more. Are they being reinforced? Regardless, he could not fall back. Not yet.
Beheading another blue bot, he noticed one he had not seen before. This one was white and carried a weapon that somewhat reminded him of the Moogle Flintlocks, but much smaller. The white Geth fired, and a rocket shot its way toward Ghi.
"Damn." Ghi muttered as he put both hands to his blade. With a slash, the snow in the air turned to ice, blocking the rocket from reaching Ghi. However, the explosion had knocked him back several meters. He landed on his feet and rushed into the Geth as it was reloading, and severed its arms before striking off its head.

"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGO"BWAH-HA-HA!" Things were going awful well during the battle once Bowser was in the melee. He covered the flank of the Geth grouping opposite the Kurgan, with the storm-troopers suppressing fire holding them still on yet another side. A few of the blaster bolts had grazed him, as was inevitable, but it only showed as light singes against his golden scales. He'd dealt with hotter. A lot.
"Ya got nothin', cyclops!" he yelled at them. "Nothing at all!" The largest of the remaining Geth had caught his attention just then. It's shields were still up, still deflecting the shots of the Stormtroopers and giving it enough time to fire back. He noticed a few casualties on the trooper's side, and attributed them to this one. "You think your hot!" he growled.
Bowser vaulted himself in the air, over even the massive Geth, eventually crushing its head under two-thousand pounds of scaly back-side.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Riku, on the Streets just outside the Tavern
And right on cue, more robots emerged from a side street to replace the ones that Riku and that thick-bearded, spear-wielding man destroyed. The silver-haired teen frowned. “Guess I should have kept my mouth shut.”
Still wincing from that rocket, Riku assessed the situation. It looked like there were at least ten of the robots now, mostly the dark blue ones with two or three of the white-and-grey rocketeers mixed in. Oswald was holding his own, zapping several of them with what looked a bit like a TV remote before kicking one of the white ones so hard that it flew into a wall and…dissolved into gas? Meanwhile, some blue-skinned guy in a red jumpsuit with a domino mask and a crazed expression on his face was wrestling with another rocketeer, clambering all over it like some kind of crazy monkey so that it sent rockets flying every which way.
For a moment, Riku could do little more than stare in bemusement.
“Gah!” A bloody nick to the bicep from a near-miss reminded him that he was still in the fight. Three of the dark blue robots had surrounded him in his moment of inattention, and in another second their guns would turn him into so much Swiss cheese.
He wasn’t about to give them that chance. “Drift!” he yelled, stabbing the sky with Way To The Dawn as he did so. No sooner had the word left his mouth than a faint shockwave spread across the ground to cover everything in a fifteen-foot radius around him; and before the robots could fire, they found themselves lifted six feet off the ground and slowly spinning in place.
◊ His Zero Gravity spell would only last for a few seconds, but that was all the time he needed.
Repeating the gesture, Riku called out “Thunder!” and a ring of electrical current expanded outward over the same distance. The ring did nothing to the three robots in and of itself as it passed over their helpless forms, but no sooner had it done so than three bolts of lightning promptly dropped from the heavens to strike all three machines.
◊
He smirked. Man, I love these spells.
The Danse Macabre CodexWasn't too long before someone stepped up to the challenge. Camo Pants Girl, specifically. As Finn held the struggling Geth in a headlock, she rushed forth and, with a nonensical bellow, summoned some kind of weird floating grey dude with sunglasses. As soon as it came in range, the grey thing starting punching up the robot left and right, bits and pieces falling off with every blow until Finn was left holding a skeleton of metal and wires which he quickly dropped onto the knee-high pile of scrap that had collected at his feet. Dang. Where'd she even get those moves?
With a cry of "Woo!" And a couple hoping steps, Finn swiftly booted the machine's severed head, its eyelight having flickered and gone dark, into the street. He sort of hoped the rest of his time here would be like this. Not that he intended to stay here very long, but the prospect of more robot fights was just too tempting. Soon, though, the adrenaline began to fade, and Finn's wounds caught up with him. Thin rivulets of blood had begun to drip down his arms, not too much but enough to be noticeable. He grimaced in pain before turning to Camo Pants. "Yeah, I'm alright. Just need a quick patch job is all." And what was with all this 'kid' garbage, anyway? He was a man, man! A little fresh, sure, but definitely not a kid. He didn't make his ire at this known, though. No time for it.
Sheathing his sword, he extended a hand towards Camo Pants, a friendly smile on his face. "Thanks for the help, by the way. Name's Finn. Little shadow dude over there is Selim." He said, jerking a thumb towards the prince with his free hand. "You guys said you were heading to that tower?"
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyBoth Finn and Jolyne would see that Pride wasn't celebrating with Finn, like one knowing his plan would expect him to do. In fact, he was on his knees, looking with wide eyes at the ground. The two would clearly see an unusual shadow circle surrounding him, and then, out of nowhere, the shadows gained faces. Creepy red eyes and grins appeared on the shadows surrounding Pride, who yelped, attempting to stand up and run away in fear.
However, with a simple acting trick and clever use of his shadows, Pride made it look like the shadows were trapping him inside. He began to bang on invisible walls, mouthing the words "help" and "Mister Finn", even going as far as mimicking the act of yelling, but making sure no sounds were coming out of his mind. He fell to his knees, his hands on his head, as he began to cry and shake his head, the red eyes and grins spinning around him.
If the two moved closer to Pride, they would soon hear childish giggles coming from the shadows, giggles that didn't seem like they didn't belong to Pride, and that would sucessfully creep anyone out. If any of them dared to get even closer to the crying kid, would notice that the red eyes and the grins would suddenly stop spinning, their focus going from Pride to the duo.
Spider-Man looked around at the aftermath of the fight. Every killer robot that wasn't tied down by his web was 'dead' or scrapped. Suddenly those kids didn't seem so helpless anymore, not with their incredible magic powers beyond any understanding of the sciences and their weapon skills. The inner kid in Spider-Man smiled. Maybe he wouldn't have to worry about being their adult supervisor after all. He was going to give a proper introduction when Selim suddenly started having a superpower freak out. His Spidey-Sense started ringing in the back of his head like an extreme bout of tinnitus. He didn't need the Spidey-Sense to tell that something was wrong. Spider-Man backed off, wanting to help the kid but unsure how to do so with his powers.

Tavern
Things had started to take a turn for the worse. There were the sounds of carnage outside, and the Bartender had started to get nervous. Now, a couple of kids were discussing whether or not they should go outside and check it out. One of them had a cannon for a hand, so they probably knew what they were doing. A look of resolution came over Dexter's face. Enough was enough. He wasn't getting anything done as dorky Dexter Douglas. But his other half was a distant matter. Dexter turned to the other end of the room, and marched towards the restroom. He went up to what looked like the men's room, and burst open the door, storming towards the centre of the room. F Inally, he stood stock still, fists clenched at his sides, and looked up towards the ceiling.
"Oooh, FREAK OUT!"
Dexter's body burst and stretched like mercury, and swirled together in a miniature high-energy cyclone. Lightning swirled with him, and danced off the walls, creating a blinding light. Then, when it finally came to rest, Dexter wasn't Dexter any more. In his place stood a young man with blue skin and spiky black hair streaked with lightning, dressed in white boots, white gloves, and red long johns with an F! on the chest.
"HELLOOOOO! I'M HERE IN THE GAME!"
There was a great cracking sound in the taven, as what looked like a lighting bolt flew out of the bathroom, zigzagged through the tables and burst out the front door. Near where the Geth were battling, he screeched to a halt next to one of the bow legged androids. "Pardon me, boy, but is this the Disclave sci fi convention?"
And a Strange Figure Emerges.
