"Right!" Pride said, smiling. His smile disappeared as it was replaced with a frown, in order to keep up with the "it's cold and that's bad for me" facade. Pride quickly tucked his hands under his arms, imitating Finn, and let out a quiet "brrrr" noise. He looked up at Spider Man, and let out a weak "hi", followed by a completely equal smile. "It's getting very cold, M-Mister Finn..." he said, walking over to the older boy and hugging him, placing his arm around him in a very protective way. "V-very c-cold..."
Ghi, Castle
Ghi slowed his pace as he approached the castle. It seemed his intuition was right, the woman had led him to the castle after all. He silently walked up to the castle, on the edge of the moat. Its age reminded him of the ruins back in Jylland, just not in as bad a shape.
As he got closer, he noticed several figures. One was the girl he had followed, the other was the white knight with the cannon, and the other two he didn't quite recognize. He walked over the drawbridge and shot a glance in their direction before continuing into the castle.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOKneesocks turned her nose up at Blue's comment on giving up. "I highly doubt these so called 'masters' of yours could stand up to me. I'm a high class commander demon, one of Satan's finest. Someone such as yourself doesn't even begin to compare."
Stopping for a moment, Kneesocks looked Michel up and down. "Good. We'll need to find you something better to wear soon. I don't particularly care for your current outfit. Hmm... and I suppose it would be too difficult to remove that streak at this moment. It'll have to stay sadly."
Sora — The Bar
As the food came to the table, the boy didn't hesitate to start eating. One bit of the hot dog made Sora humming in praise. "This is great!" he takes another bite. After that a long, drawn out slurp of his soda. To tell the truth he was kind of famished when they got into the bar. Not that anyone would notice mind you. "Huff." Sora released his breath as he looked toward Riku then to Oswald. "So that makes you a Duke?" he said the first thing that came to mind. "That's really awesome." he chimed in as he looked toward Riku. "Well they do look-a-like, don't you think Riku?"
Blues, between the beach and the city/The City
As the small group continued onwards, they left the sparkling ice crystals of the beach behind and stepped on to a mishmash of cobbles, tarmac, and some materials that couldn't be readily identified. Kneesock's assertions were met with a measure of indifference. "You really don't understand, do you? They made this pocket dimension. Do you have any idea how difficult that is?"
If he was going to continue lecturing Kneesocks, Jensen's question distracted him. Looking up at the tower yet again, he said, "...I think they're about to do something."
Meanwhile, in The Tower
Hands flew from one holographic display to another, inputting information at a blinding pace. Chimes occasionally echoed through the room as a selection was confirmed or cancelled. " Almost done... this should be fun. I'll just recall our asset and everything should be just peachy."
The man was sitting in a chair now, his purple eyes never wavering from the woman as she did her work. " I don't get it. If you want them to 'settle in', then why are you...?"
He was cut off by the being, who raised a hand to stop him. They were also sitting, though they had a large, heavy wooden desk placed in front of them. The being was positioned in such a way that it had a clear view out of the window.
For the same reason we do anything, my colleague. They can continue to acquaint themselves with our city once this is over.
But for now?The being shifted slightly, its' thickly padded leather office chair squeaking faintly as the being folded its' arms. A small holographic display, tinged gold, appeared in front of them. A purple one sprang up in front of the man, while the woman simply pressed a few buttons and had her blue coloured display show a live feed of events in the city. The same was true for the other occupants of the room.
They fight.
The City Streets
It was slow, at first, but it was impossible to ignore. A series of cuboids sprang up from the ground in the streets*. Each was transparent, but with a slight blue tinge and a definite sense of mass, as though a collection of thick glass display cases had been unceremoniously dragged into the city. A tiny, semi-transparent block of holographic text was "attached" to the top right corner of each cuboid, displaying the following:
Co-ordinates:*
Release conditions: 20 seconds elapsed.*
Type: Entity, Geth
Behaviour:
entity-Player-hostile: 1
entity-Inhabitant-hostile: 0
entity-City-hostile: 0
active pathfinding: 1
active networking: 0
Special conditions: Damage output reduced. Aggressiveness reduced. Weapon range reduced. Durability reduced.
A purple gas slowly began to fill the containers, swirling and curling in on itself as it tried and failed to escape its' confines. Attempts to break or damage the cuboids seemed fruitless as well; attacks would either bounce off or go clean through it. As the timer reached zero, the cuboids filled completely... and then seemed to clear, revealing that each one contained cycloptic robots
◊. Some carried what appeared to be regular guns, while others wielded small rocket launchers
◊, and much more rarely there were very tall, three eyed machines wielding heavier weapons
◊, as well as smaller black machines that were equipped with what appeared to be shotguns
◊. All of these had their "eyes" flicker briefly and then glow purple.
With that, the cuboids split open (fading away before they hit the ground) to let their charges out. The geth spread out
into the city with slow deliberation, hunting for their targets.
Blues, the streets
One moment Blues was with his group, and the next he had suddenly disappeared, gone with one last blast of heavy snow before things started to improve. Similarly, the tingling was gone and everyone's powers seemed to be working again.

Locking you up on radar since '09The Kurgan stepped out into the streets, and marched through the snow towards the small group of white armored Stormtroopers, clapping a gloved hand on the shoulder of the nearest one.
"Call it a hunch, but you boys have the look of born flunkies about you. Well, it's your lucky day! This gentleman here-"
He indicated the Koopa King. He still didn't know the beast's name...
"-is on the market for some troops. A roof over your head, a crust of bread and a bed, and all you need to do is stand around and look scary, with some occasional fighting and dying. What more could a man ask for? Step right up!"
Michal made it to the streets before Blues up and disappeared. Then he saw the robots. "What the!?" Michal said, seeing the Geth. He didn't know what they are, but they were in swarms and holding guns. Whatever they were, they were bad news.
"Madame, we should probably run away..." Michal said. In his pocket, something glowed blue, as if indicating that its ready for usage, though Michal was unaware of it.
Spider-Man, towards the Tower
Spidey was about to continue on when his path was blocked by the appearance of several mechanical humanoids. These incredibly advanced machine men with weapons didn't look like they were willing to sit things out and talk, and they had guns, too. In the blink of an eye, Jolyne Kujo or one of those young boys could be wounded from gunfire. Spider-Man wasn't going to let that happen. He struck first against them, delivering long jets of sticky white rope from his wrists, attempting to gum-up their eyes, knees, and arms to render them inert and harmless.
"Why don't bad guys hire local talent and save a buck? They're always spending millions on dumb killer robots!"
In all honesty, he was startled by the sheer size of this 'ambush', but he wasn't about to let anyone know that.
"@[=g3,8d]&fbb=-q]/hk%fg"Riku, inside the Tavern
Riku nodded in agreement, but before he could say anything more a peculiar noise reached his ears. It was difficult to describe and barely audible, and it seemed to be coming from outside the tavern; under other circumstances he might have ignored it, but for reasons that the silver-haired teen could not articulate he found his hackles rising.
Setting his food down, Riku rose from his seat. “I’ll be back in a second,” he told Sora absently. “Don’t touch my fries.”
And with those words the young Keyblade wielder made his way to the tavern’s entrance, opened the front door and peered outside.
What he saw made him raise an eyebrow; not five feet from the door stood a cluster of sleek, vaguely organic-looking robots with goatlike legs and weird, curving necks that ended in glowing purple flashlights where a face should have been. There were five of them in all, the last of them a mix of white and grey
◊ in contrast to the other four’s dark blue colour schemes, and each of them carried a smooth, bulbous object that was clearly some kind of gun…except for the white one, which held a much larger and straighter weapon in its three-fingered hands. They were facing each other, making strange electronic chitters that might have been speech; these sounds were mildly unpleasant to his ears, and Riku realized that this was the noise he’d heard a second ago.
Then the white one—probably their leader, he guessed—noticed his presence, and all five of the robots turned in unison to face him. The nearest two brought their guns up to take aim at his chest, and without so much as a word of warning they opened fire.
But their bullets never reached him, for Riku was no longer there; as soon as he realized that these strange machines meant him harm, the silver-haired teen threw himself to the side and transformed into a mass of shadow in the process. This black vapour solidified into his physical form some ten feet from the group of robots, leaving him standing outside the tavern on the sidewalk; and as he reformed, he dropped into a fighting stance and summoned Way To The Dawn to his hand.
“I don’t suppose you’d be willing to talk this out,” he said to the robots as they turned to face him.
Their answer came in the form of another spray of bullets as the same two robots opened fire upon him. A protective sphere of dark hexagons formed around Riku then, stopping the projectiles cold less than a foot from his body, and his expression was grim as the five machines began to spread out, training their weapons on him. They stopped shooting then, as though waiting for him to make the first move.
“That’s what I thought.”
And with a yell, he lunged at the nearest robot and brought his Keyblade down in an overhand slash, severing its arm with a spray of white fluid.

The Danse Macabre CodexHaruko - The City
Hovering back down to the city, she scanned the streets for the blue haired girl she ran into. While looking for her, she sees her Vespa in the same spot that she left it.
"....Huh? Yes!" Haruko cheered as she saw her Vespa in the distance. Making the guitar go into inhumanely high speeds, she sped up to its location. As she went to the vehicle, she saw a group of Trooper Geths advance towards her and fire.
"Whoa...!" she exclaimed as she dodged the shots fired at her, diverting her away from her prized vehicle. She landed on the street across from them and scurried to dodge them. While dodging their bullets, she pointed the wide end of her guitar at the Geths.
"Move!" she yelled, as she fired a rocket from her guitar at the Geths, trying to wipe them out with one hit.
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashBowser, streets
"You'll be rich beyond your wildest dreams!" Bowser added. "That is, however, when I have access to my world and estates. That's all you'll need, make sure I and the knight get back to our....." It was then that a group of rounds had struck the Koopa King, peppering his draconic hide with bullets, though not achieving any substantial penetration. Following the shots was a group of humanoid, organic looking machines, marching towards them with lethal intent.
"For some reason." Bowser said, brushing the slugs from his body. "I don't think these guy's are negotiable!" He folded himself into his massive spiked shell, and launched his entire body towards the Geth. The attack was not unlike that of other Koopas, but this one applied a few thousand more pounds.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Something just felt wrong to Jolyne for a while. It felt like her skin was crawling or something. She just felt disturbed for some reason. Then all at once the feeling vanished, and some odd cubes appeared. She raised an eyebrow and watched as the cubes filled with something purple. It wasn't long until the cubes broke open and what looked like robots appeared. They turned their single eyes on the group.
Before she even reacted, Spiderman fired some strange white substance into the faces of a couple of the robots. After that Jolyne quickly ducked as a couple of the others started to open fire. She whipped her hands out of her pockets and flung them towards one of the robots. String flew out from the tips of a couple of her fingers and straight at the robot. It immediately wrapped around the robot's waist. Once it wrapped around several times, Jolyne grabbed the string and tugged.
At the same time, and extra pair of arms seemed to emerge from her shoulders and grab the string as well. The arms were a grey-ish tan color, looked weird with studs on the back of the fists, and faded into transparency at the shoulders. She yanked and started turning, gritting her teeth as she started pulling it. The Geth was yanked from the ground and soon found its self being spun through the air as Jolyne started whipping it around. Once it built up enough momentum, the Stand user flung the Geth into a wall. The extra arms faded away as the string weaved its self back into her fingers.
Guan Yu, Bar
Guan Yu was rather annoyed when the young man completely ignored him, but before he was able to say anything more the silver haired boy got up and moved to the door, his posture suggesting he was slightly on edge. When the boy was then attacked, Guan Yu rushed outside to meet the assailants. They were mechanical creatures, shaped like a man but clearly not. They held what had to be projectile weapons of some kind, considering how they were used against the silver haired boy (who blocked their attacks with some good old-fashioned magic, though it seemed to be of a worryingly dark origin; the only man Guan Yu had ever seen use magic that was black was Lu Bu).
Regardless, these creatures were attacking the boy without any apparent provocation, and that was something Guan Yu wouldn't tolerate. He rushed the nearest one* and used the Green Dragon to strike at it with a horizontal slash. The construct had just enough time to realize that another of the new arrivals was attacking when it was cut in two at the chest. If any of the other Geth were one blades length behind or to the side of their newly decommissioned comrade, the would also be cut (though not straight through).
The Streets
The stormtroopers looked rather unsure (or at least as unsure as they could look in faceless plasteel armour). Certainly, they didn't have much else to do, but they didn't know who The Kurgan or Bowser were. One of them stepped forward - presumably their leader - and said, "Look, I only want to do what's best for -"
He didn't get a chance to finish his sentence as bullets whipped past him. Understandably surprised by the unexpected attack, they scrambled past Bowser and The Kurgan before turning back and kneeling, ready to shoot back at their assailants.
Except that it wasn't necessary. Bowser's attack bowled several of the Geth clean over; the remains of the destroyed machines turned purple and melted into a large puff of purple gas, leaving nothing behind. The Geth that had avoided being hit started firing in short, controlled bursts, trying vainly to at least scratch the Koopa King.
The stormtroopers, for their part, began shooting. Off-purple shields flared into life briefly with each hit, though they were getting dimmer.
Khimari's own opponents fired uncertainly, apparently unsure how to react to an opponent who wielded nothing but a spear.
Guan Yu had little trouble with the Geth; one nearby was felled by his slash as well as the one hit by Riku. The remaining Geth decided to try their luck regardless and launched a rocket at Riku, hoping to at least slow him down, while its' companion tried to stop Guan Yu.
Spider-Man's attack worked almost exactly as planned; the Geth were effectively immobilised and struggled uselessly against their bonds. Jolyne's use of Stone Free sealed their fate, as the squad hit the nearby building and dissolved into purple.
Megaman, the Tavern
The tavern fell silent as the sounds of fighting outside reached its' occupants. Scowling slightly, the bartender said, "That can't be good... right, everybody, I want you to remain in here. I don't want to see any of my favourite customers dead because they thought they could be a hero."
Despite the bartender's request, Megaman found himself practically half-way out of his seat, right hand already retracting to reveal the Robot Master's Mega Buster. His expression seemed entirely more serious than it had been. "I didn't catch your name," he said to Vita. "But did you hear that? I think we'd better go and investigate."
"Hey, kid, sit down!" barked the bartender. "You might be a robot or somethin', but who knows what's going on out there?"
"That's exactly why I want to find out," replied Megaman. "I can't just sit here when people could be in danger!"
The bartender slumped slightly. "...Fine. But don't come crying to me if something goes wrong, you hear?"
Locking you up on radar since '09Shampoo, Outside the Castle
Shampoo sighed as the person who had been following her just went inside, and Bowser and a swordsman left the castle, though Shampoo did start to notice that it was getting colder outside... Much like Guan Yu and Sora, she could withstand the cold of China. Her initial worry was that the snow would melt in enough of a quantity to turn her into a cat. However, even she was starting to notice the cold herself as the area was getting colder and snowier.
"We head inside before freeze to death," Shampoo said to the others, but then noticed something in the distance on the other side of the moat. Weird cubes floated up from the ground. The cubes were filled with purplish gas. The cube was filled and strange armored humans walked out.
Shampoo looked at the weird humans, confused... until they began trying to fire at them, which prompted Shampoo to jump back over the moat, landing on one of them and crushing it into the ground. Shampoo then kicked another one to send it flying into the air... It'll land eventually, but it'll probably smash into the ground when it does so. She then punched the face of a third, repeatedly to knock it out. Shampoo felt some liquid on her hand, and sniffed it. It smelled like lubricant.
"They made of car!" Shampoo yelled out to the others as if this was a surprising fact.
The Streets
Haruko's rocket made an explosive beeline through the Geth, destroying a couple of them, but the Geth had rockets of their own which they tried to fire at her.

Wizard Needs Food BadlyAround the Castle
The sounds of approaching footsteps drew Chung's attention back to the land outside the castle again, and he blinked to see what was perhaps a sizable number of mechanical beings. "Nasods? I thought..." Mistaking the Geth for another race of mechanical beings in his own dimension, the boy was shocked to see that they suddenly opened fire upon the Koopa King.
"Well, they aren't friendly then..." Leaning back, the boy unstrapped his cannon and jumped out one of the windows. Whipping his cannon above his head, the irate knight screamed his displeasure at their wanton violence. "GIGANTIC IMPACT!" Suddenly activating his cannon, the boy slammed its head into the ground to release a shockwave under a cluster of the things. Heaving himself out of the self made crater, the boy proceeded to reload his weapon with a hard gleam in his eyes.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Subaru, the Castle
The sound of gunfire reached Subaru's ears and the blue-haired cyborg reacted. The one thing that stopped her from striking before Shampoo and Chung was simple doubt: were these metal things robots or armored people? The Chinese girl's attack told her the answer and Subaru surged forwards to fight them. They were like more advanced versions of the targets used in Mage Rank exams.
"Load Cartridge!" the cyborg called as Revolver Knuckle spun and did exactly that, loading the cartridge for her next attack, "REVOLVER... SHOOOOOOOT!"
The first Geth that the cyborg had aimed at was struck by a blue light and then torn apart by a cylinder of razor wind, its torso reduced to a scattered mass of metal shreds.
Another took aim at the cyborg as she got closer before firing off a rocket. Said rocket was ducked with inhuman speed as Subaru kept getting closer before she was entirely within melee range and swung her leg around in a flying kick to the Geth's head. A normal person's shin would come off worse when hitting metal but, instead, the robot's head was the thing damaged to the point it broke off. Punching its chest afterwards whilst rushing for a third Geth was simply insurance.
(I couldn't think of a way to represent Engrish aside from blue text, sorry)
Just another girlG swore that he was hearing some violent commotion outside the bar.
"I'm not liking this." He quickly kept his wallet and NCIS ID/badge away. The federal agent stood up from his seat and tried to check if he can see the outside from the bar via window or something similar.

Finn smiled and placed a hand on Selim's back, hugging him close. Darn, but this kid was affectionate. Kind of a wimp, too. At his age, Finn would've already been out on his own, running full tilt towards the tower. They'd had different upbringings, though. The life of royalty was one of coddling and lessons. Being raised by dogs, he guessed this sort of endurance just came naturally to him. Nevertheless, he had to agree. "Yeah. We better hurry to that tower if we want outta here quick." He paused. "And cut out it with that 'mister' junk, alright? Just call me Finn."
As he said those last words, something unusual happened. Well, within the standards for unusual in this place. A bunch of weird glass boxes cam rising out of the ground, unmarked but for a holographic display featuring a slowly ticking timer. He didn't really understand what any of the stuff on the display said, but he could only assume it was bad. As the cubes began to fill with a thick purple smoke, Finn tensed as he pulled Selim closer to him and reached for his sword with his free hand. Even if what came out of there was harmless, he was going to be ready for it. Soon enough, as the timer reached its end, the gas began to dissipate, revealing a squadron of robots standing inside the boxes like some bizarre taxidermy display.
Well, he assumed they were robots. They didn't look like any he'd seen before, all glowing eyes and smooth curves. Whatever they were, they were armed and they didn't seem friendly at all. The cubes split open, spilling their occupants out onto the streets. But before Finn or the robots could take action, the two strangers had begun their assault. It was a pretty cool sight, actually, spider dude letting fly with streams of adhesive webbing to pin their assailants down before they could even squeeze off a shot from those weird looking guns of theirs. Seeing an opportunity, camo pants girl yanked her hands out of her pockets and wrapped some kind of weird string stuff around the robots before flinging them into a building with the aid of some weird second pair of arms. For a moment, Finn almost felt jealous of them. He was really starting to wish he had powers like that.
Fortunately enough for him, it seemed Finn would have his chance to show off still. Another machine rounded the corner of an alleyway, this one stark white in coloration and armed with some kind of mini rocket launcher. It took aim at the group and fired, missing Finn by a hair and detonating harmlessly several feet away. In the few seconds it took to reload, Finn had already closed the distance, blood sword drawn. With a high-pitched battle cry, he raised his weapon and sank it into the cyclopian eye of the robot with the sound of tearing metal and shattering glass. The robot flailed about, blinded, before slumping to the ground, still and lifeless. He didn't have much time to celebrate his victory before its squadmates rounded the corner, opening fire on the young hero.
Finn fell back, propping up his opponent's carcass as a metallic shield as gunfire sank into its synthetic hide. He couldn't move away without getting his butt turned all swiss-cheesey. Hopefully, one of the others would step in before his impromptu shield wore down.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyDomon, outside the castle
Domon had no idea how to respond to Subaru as she began talking about "magic", something that clearly was not real. Some would find it odd that he'd think this way, seeing how he came from a universe that was infamous for including an old man who could fight giant robots on foot armed only with a scarf, but he thought it all the same.
He was incredibly thankful when the killer robots showed up.
"What the-" Subaru and the armored boy began their attacks, and Domon was left astonished at their power. "Wow, they're like a couple of... Of Human Gundams!" The Chinese girl seemed to fit his worldview more, as she took on the robots with her bare hands. His distraction almost cost him, as one of the robots began firing its rifle at him. "Alright!" Domon yelled, as his hand swept through the air and caught the bullets harmlessly. "I'll show you the power of the King of Hearts!"
His fighting spirits began flaring up, and his blood began to boil. The crest of the King of Hearts began to glow on his right hand as it smashed through the face of the attacking robot, and his left hand followed, decapitating another with a swinging hook. Finishing off his combo, a mighty side kick was sent out and his foot crashed right through the chest of a third geth robot. "Don't take the School of the Undefeated of the East lightly!"
Ghi, The Castle
As Ghi entered the castle, he could hear commotion coming from outside. Sighing in annoyance, he turned back and walked out. What he saw seemed to be humanoid machines, and a number of people he recognized had engaged them. In fact, there were people who were just outside the castle who leaped into the fray.
Ghi sighed. He drew his blade and rushed to the nearest machine, a blue figure holding what Ghi guessed was a gun of some sort, although it was like none he had ever seen before. With a quick horizontal slash, he beheaded the machine. Seeing their comrade fall, the others soon turned toward Ghi, raising their weapons. Ghi placed both hands on his hilt as he charged it with magick and slashed a wide horizontal arc at the bots, separating their chest from their waist with a flaming blade.
"Why does everything have to loop back to YGO?" -Guy who ruined YGOStreets
At the sight of the geth the Kurgan drew his broadsword and assumed a fighting stance.
"You really shouldn't interrupt me!"
With a roar the he lunged at the nearest geth, swinging a two handed overhead strike at the robot's head and splitting it cleanly in half. Ignoring their bullets he spun around and swung a series of powerful slashes at the rest.

Bowser, Castle
"Exactly.", Bowser said, a wide, toothy grin smattered across his face. "My thoughts, exactly." He took another mental note, this time of his partner's equal ambitions. There could be trouble; not now, but in the future. Getting back onto his feet from the throne-spot , he walked back towards the entrance of the throne room, towards the lobby. "And might I say, the prospect of wives aren't too shabby either!" He stopped at the side of the door, and opened it for the Kurgan.
"Allow me to assist in getting the word out that we're employing.", Bowser said. "Just to add an......extra incentive....to accept our offer."
