I would never be able to answer such a question. I have an undying love for star wars at a fundamental label that I don't even understand but there are some that rival it.
Paying twice wouldn't count much for me because I saw jurassic world twice because of friends, but with no regrets because of the final fight.
The Lego movie is similarly awesome, saw it twice.
The list could go on. I just have a general idea of top films more than a favorite.
I'm baaaaaaackFavorite movie would be a tough one...
Probably The Avengers. I mean, I was fixing to be a high school freshman when it came out, and I'd been watching all the Marvel films to get ready and see it. The hype was pretty major, and I can remember freaking out in excitement when I saw the trailers. And when the movie came out...to this day, it still brings me a smile. When the opening theme starts playing as the title pops up, I get chills. Seeing that shot in the climax of all the heroes standing side by side as the camera rotates around them will never cease to make me think "hell yes". It's like...imagine something that, when you have kids, you'd show them this movie and tell them how much you loved it growing up. And then they fall in love with it too and tell their kids years later. That is what The Avengers is: a movie that can stand the test of time.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? Please move these sorts of broad topics to Yack Fest, and don't necro them.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"

i think pan's labyrinth is probably my favorite film at the moment.
I enjoy it because I am a huge fan of Dark Fantasy, and it's probably the best film i've seen in that regard. it is thoroughly fantastical, but at the same time extremely grounded and human with its portrayal of fascism and war. very few works of fantasy manage to achieve that, and that's why del toro is one of my favorite directors.
