Have you guys heard of Shi?

I don't think this series is particularly well-known, but the character named has the following information:

  • Ana Ishikawa is the manager of Oike Gallery in New York and a trained warrior who was taught the ways of the sohei.

As a Bilingual Bonus, "shi" in this series is Japanese for "death".

I've heard claims that this series was in existence before Anime and Manga became more mainstream in North America.

The lady with the painted face who came out around the same time Venom got a comic(AKA The Dork Age of comic books)? If so she might have the same problem a lot of perceived nineties antiheroes have.

I've seen a TPB of it in my local Vintage Stock, I might check it out now.
