It was a few moments after Red's knock until Garnet opened the door, who took one look at the two and had an eyebrow go up. "You two look like you just went through a giant tumble drier. You sure you didn't mean to go to Doc's?" Garnet asked, nevertheless stepping back a bit so they could come inside if they so chose.
Meanwhile over at the helicopter, Shevon just shook her head a bit and kept checking Anarchy's wounds. "What happened to her anyway? It looks like she got hit by a car" Shevon said, noting the bleeding back, broken leg, and broken ribs.
The two officers she sent away came sprinting back with a very basic stretcher; just a pair of rods with a blanket attached between them. They set it down on the ground next to the helicopter, and Shevon glanced back and gave them a nod. "Alright, let's get her on it" Shevon told them, and directed the two officers and Jerry to help her get Anarchy onto the stretcher.
This was all within view of Recon, who Shevon and the other officers were currently ignoring in favor of the woman who desperately needed medical attention.
You are reading this.Jim heard the helicopter and went to see what was happening. He saw the woman on the stretcher and tried asking an officer, "What's happening?"
"Words, they're all we have to go on." Guildenstern, Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead"Line seemed kinda long over there, figured we'd see you instead," Dale replied to Garnet as he stepped inside. "Jeep had a run in with a skeleton, and now the front-right tire's got a bad case of arrow. Figured what with all these cars you all have along the walls now, that you might have a spare. Maybe even an extra to keep in the back, or a tire patch kit. Just something so we aren't fuuuuuuu... uh... uh... flat outta luck if this happens again. Or if you're feeling clever, if you got some way to put armor over the wheels, that'd be mighty fine."
"Oh, and uh..." he scratched his neck with his good hand, "...the door's kinda... gone."
"You landed on a... Did she fall out of the helicopter?" Shevon asked, sounding absolutely shocked and appalled.
"It was an accident" Flyer muttered, once again his fake Australian accent gone.
Shevon shook her head and looked at Recon, eyebrows lowering. "'Messy?' You see the condition she's in? If you try to haul her over your shoulder, you'll probably just make things worse; you could kill her. If you want to help, help us with the stretcher, gently" Shevon told him as they prepared to move Anarchy to Doc's.
One of the officers, Ken to those who had already been around a while, noticed Jim and turned his attention towards him, lest he go completely ignored. "Uh, I guess she fell out of the helicopter while they were on mission" Ken said quietly to Jim, motioning to Anarchy.
Meanwhile, over at the auto shop, Garnet looked concerned when Dale mentioned the apparent waiting line for Doc and the troubles with the car. "Yeah, I've got tire patching stuff and some spares; Shevon already told me the spares are to be last resort though. We don't have many, and we usually save them to sell to the caravan when they need new tires" Garnet said as she actually headed out the door to take a look at the tire. She felt at the duct tape seal, getting a feel for how big the hole actually was. "Yeah, I can fix this up. Lucky it didn't go through and through; that would be a real pain" she added, and headed over to where the driver's side door was missing.
She stared at it for a few moments, then looked back at Red and Dale. "How the heck did you lose a door?" Garnet finally just had to ask.

You are reading this.Red nodded to confirm Dale's story.
"Well, thanks Miss Garnett. If that's all, me and Dale had better report back to the sheriff." Red gave Dale a significant look at the word "sheriff."
"We were the only ones on the ground who are healthy enough to talk." Red said. He then walked out and found the sheriff.
"Hello "Sheriff." I bet you'd like a summary of what happened." Red said.
"I'm kind of used to carrying injured people," he explained. "But I guess your plan makes more sense," he admitted. "Provided..."
He looked around, looking for something like a blanket or curtain that could make a second stretcher for Kirk.
"Unless you plan to stack them on the stretcher, we're gonna need another one," he explained.

Dale noticed Red leaving, and tried to hurry, "Well, thanks a bunch Garnet, we owe you one," he said as he grabbed the Minimi and belt out of the jeep and turned to head off - but he wasn't quite sure where Red went.
He headed towards the police station - even if Red hadn't gone where he had thought he'd be going, at least he could get a few boxes of ammo so he could load up for tomorrow. Anything to pass the time until Doc would be able to take a look at his hand.
"Oh, a ghoul. That would do it" Garnet muttered, turning her attention back to the door frame. "Well I can fix up the tire easy, but I don't know if I can do anything about the do- hey wait!" she took a step or two after the two bounty hunters as they left, but quickly realized they weren't going to stop.
"Emerson, get out here! I need you to do something for me!" the two bounty hunters would hear her yell behind them as they left.
Meanwhile, over at the helicopter, Shevon just shook her head at Recon while he looked around for anything to make another stretcher with; unfortunately there didn't seem to be any in the immediate area. "Looks like he can still walk well enough to me. Feel free to go over there and lend another hand though" Shevon said with a motion over to where Dune was still helping Kirk move. "Right now, I'm more worried about her" she added, and quickly coordinated with the two officers to get the stretcher lifted up and on the move towards Doc's.
It was about halfway on the way to Doc's that Red caught up and spoke to Shevon. She glanced at him quickly, her expression telling that not only had she heard his intonation of the word 'sheriff', but that she didn't like the sound of it. But she turned her head back to making sure they were carrying Anarchy quickly yet gently. "I can already tell that at least one of you nearly died. I suppose you're going to tell me about everything else that went wrong?" Shevon asked rhetorically, clearly frustrated.
Over at the police station, Dale would find there was currently nobody else there.

You are reading this."Well yeah." Red said, though this wasn't entirely true. He was also trying to gauge if Shevon was the succubus or not.
"Well, the good news is we got there and burned about a block's worth of the town and we took out a lot of Fang's heavy hitters; a ghoul, some dire wolves, a bunch of skeletons, and some runners. The bad news is a skeleton shot our tire and Kirk. Then Anarchy fell out of the copter." Red elaborated.
"Although, we might've seen a glimpse of Fang over there. Dale reckons he heard a voice coming from a building. I torched the building but we have no idea if we got him or if that was even Fang Shadow." he told the sheriff.
"Well, don't mind if I do," Dale said, shoving a few boxes of ammo into his backpack and heading out. It was heavy as a motherfucker, which wasn't too bad after resting in the jeep all afternoon, but at least once he went back to his room and checked out his hand a bit, he'd have something to pass the time with. He certainly couldn't catch up on his homework in this condition.
He stood up, frustrated that his search had been in vain.
"Wish Paladin was here," he muttered to himself "All I know how to do with injured people is finish them off or get them the heck out of dodge."
He walked over to Kirk.
"They messed you up good out there, surprised you're still standing. Name's Recon, pleasure to meet you. I've heard of bounty hunters, first time I've ever seen one though."
Nothing about Shevon's current activity seemed to indicate succubus, at least to Red's knowledge of them. She wasn't trying to seduce anyone or trick them into acting against other Humans; she was just helping carry an injured woman to a doctor.
"Well, at least there's some good news" Shevon said as they neared the front door of Doc's bookstore. "With any luck, maybe Fang got trapped in that building by the sun and died... Of course, if it was that succubus instead, she could have probably gotten out" she added as they got the front door open and headed inside.
"Doc! We've got injured! Badly injured!" Shevon yelled into the shop as they gently set down the stretcher. Then they carefully picked Anarchy up and set her onto the table Doc kept in there; Doc emerged from between a pair of the book shelves about the same time.
"My goodness. This looks like it might be beyond my knowledge" Doc muttered, but came over to start helping anyway. Doc was still a bit of an amateur when it came to medical knowledge; able to fix up surface wounds and set broken bones, but a little lost on what to do about internal injuries. Thankfully, and perhaps just a tad ironically, Anarchy did have that knowledge, so with her help he was able to get started on keeping her alive.OOC
Shevon told one of the officers to help Doc, then wandered over to one of the reading benches and sat down with a sigh, resting a hand on her forehead. "So, anything else I should know about the mission? You didn't happen to get your hands on another vehicle or something, did you?" Shevon asked Red.
Meanwhile outside, Kirk and Dune looked at Recon, and the former gave him a weak smile. "I'm a little surprised myself. I'm Kirk" Kirk introduced himself, then coughed again.
"Dune" Dune said simply as he continued to support Kirk. "But we're not exactly bounty hunters. Kirk and I used to be bandits; same with the kid, Flyer" he told Recon, motioning back at the helicopter where Flyer had finally gotten out. For some reason he looked a little apprehensive, and wandered off in another direction.
"We got captured by the bounty hunters, and offered the job for a clean slate" Dune continued.
"It was that or get thrown out to the mercy of the monsters" Kirk said weakly, and apparently jokingly because he still smiled.
Then they reached the door to Doc's and entered themselves. "Got another one Doc. Arrow through the chest" Dune announced as the two of them came in.
"Help her, first" Kirk insisted with a weak arm motion at Anarchy. "I'll wait... Over there" he muttered, with another weak motion to an unoccupied bench. Dune helped him get over to it and lie down.
Over at the police station, just as Dale was exiting he was nearly bumped into by Flyer, who was headed into the station. "Oh, sorry" Flyer muttered, stepping back so Dale could go through. Dale might notice that again Flyer's fake Australian accent was missing. Flyer also seemed to be shaken up for some reason.
You are reading this."Not really." Red said, disappointed by the lack of succubusness emanating from Shevon.
He decided to do something drastic.
"So, uh...Sheriff...it was some hard work out there, you know; killing monsters, saving the town, and all. I could really use a break. What's say you and me go on a dinner date at the cafe tonight? Maybe go back to my motel room afterwards?" Red asked, confident that if she was truly the succubus, then she'd leap at the opportunity.
If she wasn't the succubus...well...Red did not enjoy thinking about an offended woman with a gun.
Besides, she wrote his paychecks.

"We'll live," Dale replied. "Save your concern for Anarchy and Kirk. Or maybe just Anarchy."
"Alright," he said turning to Red. "You wanna drive this thing to Garnet? I want to ask her if she has any tire patches we can use, since this probably won't be the last time we get a flat. Hell, I wonder if she can do some sort of welding job with some steel plates that we can slide in and out to keep the tire safe, but not be fucked if we run over a nail."
