"Aaaaaalright," Dale said, leaning back. "Guess you beat me. Once we get back, I'll need to have Doc to fix my hand, which might take a while if he's patching up those two. I also have to reload all my stuff, since it doesn't hurt to be prepared. We might need to scout things out, find out where she lives, and all that other stuff so we're prepared."
Progress was again a bit slow at first with all the abandoned cars blocking up the road, but soon enough the jeep made it out of the city and was able to cruise at a better pace. After a bit they'd see the horde of runners off to one side, having finally given up on the helicopter and now wandering about at random in the fields. One of them must have spotted the jeep because it started screaming and attempting to run after. Every other runner that heard it screaming went on alert, and more spotted the jeep and tried to run after it as well. However none of them were able to catch it.
It would take them a while longer to reach the town, but it seemed they were home free as far as danger went.
Kirk didn't exactly look like he was in good condition, but then again who would if they had an arrow sticking through their chest? There was blood running down his shirt, which was to be expected, and he was clearly in pain and having a little trouble breathing. "Can I play the piano anymore, Doctor Zaius?" Kirk joked to Jerry as he saw the sniper looking over him; Kirk was probably just trying to distract himself from the pain. He tried to chuckle a bit, but it turned into a cough halfway through.
"Town's right ahead now. We'll be there soon, right" Flyer said idly as Green Fields came into view farther ahead.
Recon was right to suspect the other object was possibly a zombie, specifically a walker. Thus it was only almost a surprise when it reached out for his arm, having been closer to him than he expected. The walker made the grab and with the usual surprising strength for a rotting corpse pulled itself forward to try and bite down on his arm. Unfortunately for it, it would have a hard enough time trying to bite through the regular material of his clothes, let alone the plastic pad on his forearm.
That didn't stop it from trying though, so Recon currently found himself with a walker awkwardly attached to his left arm, completely failing to do anything to him besides delay him.OOC
It was also around this time that Recon would just barely start to hear a helicopter approaching.

You are reading this.Hearing a helicopter overhead, Recon quickly used the grip its mouth had on his forearm to press the walker's head down to the ground and easily pulverized the decayed brain case into mush with his reinforced knuckles.
Abandoning both his prey and all pretenses of stealth for speed, he blazed through the field at incredible speeds, heading back to the town to warn the others of an incoming bird.

As Jerry looked over Kirk he sighed heavily, seeing the extent of his wounds, then he pulled out his combat knife and cut the arrow shaft down to the base of the arrowhead. Knowing that if he pulled it out he might kill Kirk. He then removed Kirk's shirt to check for any other injuries, when no pressing wounds where yielded he pulled out a packet out of his first aid kit. "Are allergic you to morphine?" He said pulling out said drug, "And have you ever used it before?"
"Somebody barbequin'?!""Yeah, got a bit that time some crazy blonde stabbed a couple times" Kirk joked, then coughed a bit again, "I guess she didn't like my 'advances'." Kirk smiled weakly for another moment, then looked... Serious, as he stared at the morphine, then glanced over his shoulder briefly to the back of the helicopter, where Dune was making sure Anarchy wasn't going to fall out.
"Hey, give her some of that first, will ya'?" Kirk said quietly when he turned back to Jerry. "I'll be alright; I think I'm gonna go ahead and pass out again anyway" he muttered weakly, and rested his head against the side of the cockpit.
About this time the helicopter passed over the Western wall of the town and Flyer started to bring her in gently towards the empty lot that served as their landing pad. Down below Shevon and a few other officers had once again gathered to greet them already, having heard the helicopter coming.
Recon reached the gate about the time the helicopter was passing overhead, and the guard was glancing up at it as it passed. "That'd be the hunters coming back" the guard said idly, then took his attention back to the road heading out West from the town, grabbing a pair of binoculars to look through. "I think I see their jeep coming too" he added to nobody in particular.
After a moment he looked down at Recon, eyebrows up a bit as if just now noticing him. "Oh, you done hunting already?" the guard asked, somewhat rhetorically as he leaned on the rim of the building.
Out far ahead, Green Fields could now be seen. If either of the two hunters got a scope or pair of binoculars themselves, they'd even be able to see the helicopter preparing to land.
You are reading this."We can pay them! We just have to wait until we get some money ourselves; it's not like we have a store room full of cash anywhere around town" the guard responded a bit indignantly. "Anyway, they took that helicopter from some bandits" he explained.
"Now one sec, I need to get the gate" the guard added, and disappeared from view. About a minute later, the gate started to open, just as the jeep was pulling up.

You are reading this.He looked back on the jeep.
"Nice ride," was his only comment, before he looked down at himself and realized he was covered in blood from the walker.
"Ugh, need to clean myself up a bit," Recon mumbled. Doing an Indiana Jones-style slide, he slipped into the town and ran to the landing pad, eager to meet the bounty hunters.
Molly looked at him, it was clear she had been crying, she gave him a sad smile.
"...It hurts. Thank you, by the way for saving me." Her tone suddenly became angry. And taking your fucking time doing so." It went back to normal. "Sorry...He, he's just angry that he had to be saved."

Good to be backThe gate guard watched Recon run away towards the lot where the helicopter was, and shook his head. "Boy is he in a hurry" the guard muttered as the gate opened wide enough for the jeep to pass through. The guard, who was an officer the bounty hunters hadn't personally met yet, waved them in. "You boys alright?" he asked once they were in, turning back to the gate controls and getting it shut once again.
Over at the empty lot, the helicopter touched down and the blades started to slow, and Shevon and the other officers ran up to see how it looked. "Holy shit" Shevon immediately said when she saw Anarchy, "we can't just move her like this; get a stretcher, now!" As two of the officers ran off, Shevon stepped into the helicopter to help Jerry. "Damn it, you should have radioed ahead that you had somebody this badly injured. We could have had a stretcher ready to go already" she scolded them as she started checking Anarchy's injuries.
Meanwhile, Dune had helped get Kirk out of the helicopter, supporting under one of his arms. The two of them passed by Recon as he arrived at the scene; Dune gave him just a quick glance, then kept moving. Flyer had stayed in the helicopter, but had at least unbuckled himself; he was watching Jerry and Shevon helping Anarchy with a strange fear in his eyes.

"Not so fast young'un. See, she'd be so proud, that she'd start eating you before my old bones could get there. I need a young, spry kid like you to deliver the killing blow before she starts devouring my soul." Red said, cracking a grin.
