We're all literature fans here, so I'm sure that most of the British and Commonwealth residents will be aware of the Booker results (spoilers: Bring Up the Bodies won). Has anyone read any of the shortlist? Or enough of them to judge whether it was the right decision? I haven't actually read any of the shortlist but I loved Wolf Hall, so I'm definitely getting Bring Up the Bodies when it comes out in paperback, and I've been meaning to read Umbrella at some point, because it seems like it would be quite a good 'introduction to modernism', so to speak, and much easier than diving straight into Ulysses or To the Lighthouse. Any comments?

No, but you've just shown that I really need to pay more attention to things like this. sad
