Whole fun is that both Seryuu and Mein have major flag hanging on them and they fight each other
Btw I know how this manga will end!
(Rabac to Najenda): "When I return from this mission, lets marry and live in small house on countryside."
Then everyone dies, but Rabac who will marry and live in small house on contryside...

Raba's fight was indeed great. The flashy moves were appropriately used as distractions, and the sneaky wire tricks were cool.
I very— very— deeply hope that Seryuu will die next. I'm feeling tense about the coming chapters because of this, because should the author decide to kill Mein, it will be a double whammy of sadness and WHY WONT THAT BITCH DIE
Well, Don Flamingo would be proud!
Funny to see people hating Seiryuu so much and liking Esdese. I guess it is okay to torture and kill nameless fodder.
Still her madness in pursuing justice has really raised a death flag. Going alone against two raiders is poor tactics, even considering her victory last time (which was a narrow one). Also, in the meta level, against a main character.
I loved you, you crazy bitch. But you insisted in keeping your eyes closed...
RealidadeI like Esdese because she raises interesting dramatic questions. What does Tatsumi believe he should do where she's concerned? In light of her sociopathy, to what extent is her worldview changeable, should Tatsumi be able to defeat her without killing her? How do you redeem someone whose actions stem from their inability to understand human suffering? If she is redeemable, should she be? You may have definite feelings about these questions, but they're still questions, and they're likely to pull Tatsumi in interesting directions. Plus, she and Tatsumi are cute together (though that has a snowball's chance in hell of ending happily).
Seryuu is much less interesting. She's just a case of Jumping Off the Slippery Slope.
I can't help but feel that the author's developing characters just to evoke more of a reaction from us when they die (Braht!!!!). It feels sort of cheap, as I've been instinctively keeping myself from getting too emotionally invested in one character, knowing they'll probably die. :l
Esdese's one. She's been raising death flags since she fell in love with Tatsumi, I can't help but feel they're going to pull out a SOB story for her as she dies in Tatsumi's arms sooner or later. At that point, character development will most probably switch to Akame. A shame, considering I've taken a liking to Esdese
I did naht.
There's definitely classic Mauve Shirt maneuvers at work. I personally love the, how do you say this, thrill of it. Sure I could put myself on guard (I do to an extent) but I also really like not knowing if a character I like would survive.
Esdese's not a character I like, so I can't really sympathize with you, but it's almost 100% sure that she's gonna kick the bucket.
...huh. So it isn't actually that Pumpkin is stronger when Mein's in a pinch, but rather that Pumpkin powers up with emotion, and Mein is the kind of person that gets fired up when she's cornered? I'm pretty sure that's new information.
Clearly Tatsumi needs to become a serious love interest for her, if only for tactical purposes. If Zero no Tsukaima taught me anything, it's that Tsundere + Love Interest + Emotional Weapon = WMD. They will be invincible.

Oh, Raba. That was an excellent fight to show off his trapping abilities — he's always been in a supporting role, so I don't think he's ever gotten a big fight like that. I love the fact that the big, flashy "ultimate attack" was just a distraction, and that when he had the chance to run away, he went for it.
Seryuu tripped the wrong flags, though. There's no way she's going to get to tell Esdese that Tatsumi is with Night Raid, because it's so much more dramatic if she finds out on the battlefield. She's doomed. I'm predicting a mutual kill.
That said, I'm really curious as to how Esdese would react to Seryuu's little scenario at the end there. Sure, her philosophy suggests she'd just say, "so he was that weak, then" and move on, but it's always interesting to see merciless philosophies under emotional stress.
