So I've seen this a few times and by all means it sounds like a phenomenally cool idea. Than I see Anthology and wonder if I'm paying good money for just short excerpts of thousands of stories or paying for hundreds of stories. I'm hoping for the latter but I felt it safe to check since I can't fund any information. Also can anyone recommend one of the books as my first read?

See, when I hear "anthology" I imagine I'm getting a lot of complete works collected into one book. Does this series say anywhere that the stories are abridged?

I'm also inclined to presume full stories if not otherwise indicated - to the best of my knowledge anthologies usually do provide full works.

Are you looking at a particular "Mammoth Book"? I'm aware of a number with that prefix, I believe, but it might help to be able to check the specific book.

Yeah my mind kind of just made a mental whoopsies, so thank you everyone for reassuring me that I'm a little off.
