Similarly, a lot of people must be Time Lord worshipers. Ironically I once posted a Time Lord WMG, even though I hate Doctor Who. I just decided to go along with the meme, it must have been some kind of mindless conformism.

What else could explain the sheer number of Nyarlathotep references on TV Tropes (especially on WMG pages)? I mean, really. Ender Dragon from Minecraft? It's Nyarlathotep in disguise. The Twilight WMG page has 2 separate references to Nya. There are currently about 580 WMG results for a search of Nyarlathotep, which is rather impressive. Nyarlathotep is by far the most common WMG I've ever seen. (Well, except for Time Lords. Or Nyarlathotep, who is a Time Lord.
