Hangar app premier and SC presentation following Gamescon.
(47 minute video, for those short of transfer or free time)
All your safe space are belong to TrumpSomeone in my Pathfinder group went all-out, he even has an Idris. Can't wait to see his.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenOkay, this
◊ was definitely worth the wait. I'm also really surprised my computer didn't try to kill me when I switched the graphics to the highest settings.
My computer just looks sarcastically at me then gives me a black screen.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged Menninjaxenomorph, don't feel too bad. They tried to demonstrate the hangar at the SC panel at Dragoncon, using the laptop that had the presentation files, and it CTDednote the first time around.
Now that I've actually gotten around to downloading it, I find that (yet again) I'm disappointed.
No, not because it sucks, but because I'm not even close to being able to run it.
Minimum requirements:
- Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
- DirectX 11 graphics card with 1GB Video RAM
- Quad core CPU
- 8GB Memory
My system: XP-32, on-board vid card with 256MBnote , dual core CPU, 2GB memory.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpYou really don't need all that much. My computer
can run it in 1920X1080 at maxed graphics and the graphics card maxes out at 75ºC, admittedly the game runs at ~15FPS(~5 with the connie on screen).
Ah, that explains my PC's failure. It barely has two cores, let alone four.
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenThe irony here is that he's using Cry Engine 3 to develop the game. You'd think he'd have picked up from Crytek them that selling games which require a juggernaut of a PC to run efficiently results in only a small, whiny group of Ultra-Rig enthusiasts actually purchasing it, and the rest either ignoring or pirating it.

And most people I know who play Space Sims aren't the same kinds that care about ultra pretty graphics.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."On the other hand, having to buy new hardware to play a WC game is kind of a signature, so to speak, of his.

I'm not pledging any farther (Not without LTI, plus I have no money), but I REALLY want a Starfarer. It looks awesome.
