Blackest Night sold about 100,000 copies on average, and the reaction to that was "Oh my deity of choice this is doing astonishingly well!"

So significantly less, in other words.

Already ordered, found an online place to do it, and they had the BEST out of all the multiple covers, the Derpy one.

Is it US exclusive?

No idea. I just ordered one of the standard covers. I briefly considered getting the box set, but with so many vender-specific covers there it's not something that's in my budget to collect. I definitely want at least one, but collecting the covers is too much of a hassle.

I might order one or two and then give them to someone else. When was the last time a High Profile comic came out of nowhere and kicked Batmana and Superman's ass? Dawn? Well it could happen again and Ponies are a worthy work to go down in history.

I ordered the box set of the basic covers, and the Midtown Comics exclusive Derpy cover.

Yeah, I'm not that diehard of a collector. I was tempted, but I'm not going to get six issues when 95% of the content is going to be the same.

i know, I hate myself for doing it but, but, DAMN YOU OCD!!!!!!!! plus the Derpy cover is just TO adorable to pass up. If I only got one that would be it.

I don't think anyone's commented on this page◊. Ponies vs Changelings, yeah we've seen it before. When I originally saw the lower quality version of that, I thought Rarity had gotten a hold of the Party Cannon, but upon closer inspection its Pinkie with Rarity's mane style. One, I wonder what lead to that, and two is there some sort of trend of other Mane Six members getting Rarity's hair? Is Spike gonna go hearts-eyes for Pinkie too?

I'm almost disappointed its not Rarity. What would Rarity do with the Party Cannon?

Its not Pinkie, its a Changeling that made a Heel–Face Turn and botched their Shapeshifting spell for some reason

Clearly, one thing that hasn't changed about the Changelings from cartoon to comics is their stupidity. I mean, being able to shapeshift would make for serious Paranoia Fuel, but they're so dumb they just botch it! Even Queen Chrysalis, who is supposedly smarter than her minions, made some pretty dumb mistakes!

So Issue #1 has 19 covers total, 11 of those being retailer exclusives. The Double Midnight Comics exclusive one by Amy Mebberson was actually revealed back on September 27!

Also, this doesn't say which issue it's for, but there's reportedly going to be a variant cover by Rob Reger.

Also that's not a party cannon, that's a fullsized civil war era cannon repurposed for water.

Also my theory on pinkie pie's "Expressions" is that she is trying to demonstrate what the zombie ponies are acting like in her usual way.

More info: Issue #2 has 7 covers (2 of them retailer-exclusive) for now, Issue #3 has fewer covers than that, and eventually there'll be a regular 2 covers per issue. Also, covers by Sibsy confirmed!
