Sorry for being AFK. External forces on work. Gimme a sec to catch up. EDIT: Done. Dryuna I have that link open, I just haven't read it all. I know my internal links looks like external one. I was too lazy to check how to properly make the internal ones. Anura, follow me @Vlppf.

No, seriously. About Mary Sues. Before I Logic Bombed my plot into screaming oblivion, my character was literally about to punch out Cthulhu after a "World of Cardboard" Speech. We literally have to write a character who is, by definition, more powerful than any imaginary character ever made. Now that I think about it, depending on your point of view, he may be more powerful than God. o_O
I'm starting to think I shouldn't have brought that idea up, it's messing things up, badly.

TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries.@Dryunya: Not necessarily. Not everything written is canon. If it were, there'd be about a billion Star Wars plots and Hogwarts would be a cluttered mess. Everything has first drafts. Think of Mr. A as the publisher: he decides the final draft. He decides the canon Strongest One(s).
EDIT: Woah, I just had an idea for keeping this thing/these things under control! Make them/it completely, undyingly loyal to Mr. Administrator. As in, give it an unbreakable, cosmic mandate to be loyal. Make it completely unwaverable. Not a character; a force of nature.

"We're home, Chewie."I made a metaguard and called her Alice.
You've made a metaguard and called him Bob.
If we post our stories sepatrately, each of them becomes our canon. If we send them to Mr. A, one of them becomes his canon.
My mind, please, stop warping.
TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries.- History:
- A long time ago
, in a world where the 4th Wall breaks, an Order was created in order
to defend the boundary in between the worlds. Their name is... Janitors
- Animals hate him/her/it
, due to a curse by MOTHER
, the reason he/she/it does not have a pet
- Once, a Devil Overlord made a deal
with him/her/it
in order to "solve" some personal subject. In exchange, the demon would help him find The Pactmaker
- Made an unknow deal with an entity known as The Pactmaker
, and in exchange, started to guard The Wall

- Physical Traits:

- Let him/her/it see through magical-visual interference (such as magical invisibility)
- Magical Goggles
- Mental Traits:

(kinda literally) and to breaks
it too, letting him freely teleport between the worlds.
- Lawful Neutral - Type 2
- Agnostic. Kind of. But prays for Status Quo
- Medium Awareness - Let him sense if someone is trying to pass through the wall, let him leans on the fourth wall
- Abilities:
- Dark Magic
- Him/Her/It has the ability to control darkness and such
- Darkness: Creates a field of magical darkness, confusing his/her/its enemies and allies. Count as magical-visual interference
- Shadow Shield: Creates an oval shape of magical darkness, that acts as a barrier for physical and magical attacks. Mid-strong relisiency
- Sword
man
ship
: A "normal" katana, but of an unnatural size. Two-handed.
- Marks
man
ship

Someone, please, fix the two flails I put into him/her/it. And I gotta go
:'( EDIT: In my time zone, it is 11 PM. I'm not sure if I will be back in less than 12 hours, but I will problaby be after that (Or so I hope). If you can, and want to, please, wait for me. To finish our hero(es).

Can somebody explain Mr. A's last tweet about the cracks?
TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries. How can we write about the defender of the fourth wall without mentioning the fourth wall? Everyone who tries to crack the wall is supposed to be fought right next to the cracks - it's only logical. It's not like our guardian is supposed to punish thoughtcrimes or something.
TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries.I put something together. I haven't been keeping with the thread, really, so I'm not really up on what ya'll are doing, but I wrote a short, prologue-y thing and I'd like to see what ya'll think of it.
They stand with their backs against The Wall. On either side, no matter where, they face away from it and they keep watch.
They watch those who come to it seeking entrance and egress and they keep them at bay. They keep them where they are and keep the Status Quo. Those who come are warned, then barred, then dealt with by whatever means. They shall let nothing cross The Wall.
"Why" is a question that they don’t ask. Who questions the very essence of their being? Who questions the very reason of existence when it is so clearly stated in feel of The Wall behind them?
They stand with their backs against The Wall; as they have for all their lives.

"The marvel is not that the Bear posts well, but that the Bear posts at all."Nononono wait a second! Punishing thoughtcrimes is a great freaking idea! Why didn't I think of that!?
There is the character who travels between the fictional worlds, looking for the characters who are getting tired of being an author's toy, or just getting overly curious about the other side. And manipulates them from the shadows to give up that idea.
Dibs on that!!
TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries.I think you guys are focusing too too much on the "how"s of what they do without focusing on "why".
The point is that they need story, motivation to be strong as characters and that strength comes quite largely from "why".
That's part of what my thing was to develop, the seeds of their "why".

Well it definitely wasn't planned. And, as I said, they don't even have to alter the ARG for this - they can just say "ok, your character is totally helping us".

TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries. There, I've done my character outline. He is a mind manipulator, Walking the Earth, wiping the stray escape thoughts. It would be fitting to make him a MIB, and, by extension, why don't I write Mr. Administrator a henchman?
(It's so awesome watching the thoughts divert...)
This will have to wait, though. I'll need some sleep soon. =(

TheOtherWiki could really use Laconic entries. That's pretty cool.
Okay, I'm trying to follow this thread, make dinner, and play Mass Effect on my Xbox at the same time. I'm going to call myself AFK for a while.
Well, would someone mind compiling a list of the characters ya'll have made thus far for people like me who are too lazy to troll back through the thread to reread?
EDIT: See I have a plot bunny for this that I really like. I think it's a neat idea. But I need ya'll's characters in an easy to access form to work it out finally.

I can do that. That's definitely something I can do.
It's not in ruin? Well that won't do.
